      I suspect that two weeks notice was in leiu of giving each employee two weeks pay as a severance package because they were not terminated for cause.

      As a beginner, it is essential that you have a mentor to help you stay accountable. In my case, Elizabeth Marie Hawley has guided me for months and I highly recommend her. I focus on her. To be honest, I'm almost hesitant to let someone take charge of growing my finances, but I'm so glad I did.

      I’d sue the union and those who tried to unionize Amazon. If they had watched the news, they would’ve seen Amazon leaving NY when they tried it over there. This was predictable and preventable.

    These decisions by companies like Amazon are not taken lightly. Yes, the union pressures are undoubtedly a reason. But there's more to it than that.
    Add in Quebec's high taxes, high Federal taxes, carbon taxes, in addition to Quebec's language laws - all business correspondence must now be conducted exclusively in French, which means paying for translators - and undoubtedly other reasons which haven't been outlined here.
    The "woe is me, I'm a single mom and everything is terrible" bleating is of zero consequence. No business is going to change its mind because a single mom doesn't like the results.

Start by increasing productivity in Canada, and lower living costs because it doesn't make sense for wages to be $30+ just to keep up with living costs.

    Big muti national companies are very straight to business, once the exit intervew is done, they cut off your phone line, and log out your computer, have to leave right away. The personal items will be sent to your home at later date. It is cruel but it is like that for those mnc
