You've been so busy! All of these pieces are so fun. And I appreciate how gentle you are with personal criticisms. I don't love everything I've ever made, and I sometimes have trouble articulating that. P.S. Shame on Shein for ripping off your pattern. They're just the worst. Wish there was a class action lawsuit for all of the artists they've ripped off.
hello 🥹🥹 i wish there was one as well - i genuinely don’t understand how they can just get away with it especially after being called out on it by more than dozens of artists. also, even though there are pieces we don’t like and pieces that we won’t in the future- just creating them gives us more skill to make even better designs later on :,) so that’s a good thing to keep it mind
A tip for the feel of yarn, before making your sweater or shirt, grab the raw skein of yarn and hold it on your neck. If it’s comfortable then you’re a okay to use it. If it’s not, then you’re going to spend a lot of time on something you’re not gonna wear :) (little tip my mom learned in Norway when she learned to knit)
I'm so hooked on your videos. I'm from Sweden with long and strong knitting- and crochet culture. I'm always told how everything is supposed to be made. I can't even tell my mom what I'm planning to make without being cross-examed on every tecnique, yarn, pattern I'm planning to use. I hope you realise how liberating it is to watch you making your freaking gorgeus clothing based on gut instinct and curiosity rather than math and rules.
🤝🤝 That's why i don't tell my family what i'm making and usually when they see the finished piece, they find it beautiful. As long as i don't tell them how i made it lol
too dope keep thriving much love to you and your channel. Seeing black creators crochet/knit makes me feel good representation is everything!!!!! (you have helped me so much on my journey)
Omg, you inspire me so much I cannot believe all the things you made, beautiful. I learned a long time ago, that if you soak hard yarn from Walmart in fabric softener for like a day, then just wash it with your regular clothes, it makes the yarn so nice and soft. Try it for your jacket. Did it the other day for a snood I made.
Your fall cardigan inspired me to knit my first ever intense knitting project. I usually don't ever have the motivation to knit for myself but seeing you make yourself nice things helped me finish it. Thanks so much and happy New Year!
I love everything you made. As for the fuzzy sweaters, I bought a sweater shaver, I have a battery operated on and an electric one, it makes the sweaters look new after shaving them.
i love how u mark everything in your video like how you organize this omg u dont have idea how this little detail makes a fucking change thank you so much, i know its hard and that a longgggg time to do this to the videos
Such a talented and clever lady! I loved this video seeing your beautiful makes and creations. Thank you for sharing and Yes! You are very inspiring 🙌 💚 Thank you 🙏
Your work is beautiful. Thank you for sharing. I have an idea...the market bag straps might be alot stronger if you line them w/ fabric as well. Maybe?
u should crochet the harry styles cardigan, im currently making it as my first project and its a lot of work but i am really excited for the final product
Yarn can get fuzzy very easily if it is low quality yarn, and even good yarn gets fuzzy overtime, BUT - you Can slow down the process by turning your sweater inside out when washing it, it helps A LOT 💗
I'm saving this video for inspiration! Idk how long it must have taken you to make allll those things, though I still do simple stitches. Good luck with everything! And your projects are very cute!
I love your videos and your work is amazing! Also I have a scrap granny square blanket (the first one I made) in a very similar color palate to yours AND I also ran out of yarn making it lol
i find that cotton yarn feels different depending on the brand. sugar’n cream put me off cotton year for years. my goal for this year is to work with different weights and fibers.
it depends on the time of year & your personal preference:) cotton is used in a lot of our every day clothing and it’s the most breathable& natural id you’re comparing it to acrylic if that helps :)
@@sophiebraun1650 The fibers rubbing together into those lint balls does thin out the fabric slowly, but shaving it off doesn't, since you're just getting rid of the lint balls and it doesn't shave off any of the intact fibers!
I really enjoy that you put captions into your video! I love showing my mom videos that involve craftsmanship, but i always end up explaining them to her because she’s deaf. captions really help, and im incredibly grateful for this inclusion!
@@ikoxun I saw that!! Honestly I really like captions inputted through the RUclips closed caption system because then they're really easy to adjust to my eyesight but yes, so grateful for closed captions!!!
If u click on any video there should be a box that pops up that says CC, for closed captions. U can turn them on and off whenever u want. I'm sure it's not accurate all the time, but better than no captions! ❤❤ hope this was helpful.
I have a tip for strengthening the straps of your bags that I do a lot, especially with the granny square tote bags! If you slip stitch around the straps and edge of the bag, it helps keep everything in place and keeps the straps from stretching too much. I started doing this because the first bag I had made for myself stretched way too much and felt super unstable. Hope this helps!!
Girl mockery is the best form of flattery. I understand it's annoying when huge corporations rip off your designs but they will never make it as good as you❤
Romwe is awful. They’re just so awful I’ll never support their business cause all they do is STEAL from small creators. I’m seriously so upset and I understand how you feel.
I also want to say, I found your channel while recovering from ankle surgery and your videos have really helped keep the “post surgery depression” away. You’ve helped me stay motivated to craft so thank you💕💕💕
I would suggest making a binder of the yarn wrappers organized by brand, material, weight, then color, and then adding a little snip of the yarn. I always keep the wrappers in case i need to buy more yarn. You don’t have to keep the wrappers you can just write all the information on a paper and use the Pokémon card binder sleeves for better organization. By the way, Im 13 and I have been crocheting for about 2 years and I always watch your videos while I crochet. You’re the best!!! And don’t be too judgmental about your pieces because I love them and I would never be able to have the focus to make sweater after sweater without doing other projects in between. Keep on crocheting!! 😊
i’ve read a couple methods to soften cheap acrylic yarn, one is to wash with baby shampoo and then work some conditioner into the fibers, then rinse + roll in a towel to get moisture out, then lay flat to dry. another method is washing with vinegar
I can confirm this tip works! I've soaked pieces I've made from cheap feeling acrylic yarn in conditioner and then washed it and it's like a completely different garment!!!
this video is like going down memory lane for me because i remember your videos for almost all of these and wow its so amazing seeing how much you've grown
i was literally watching ur qna and when i heard that you were making a video on everything you crocheted and i was super excited :) i hope you have a good new year
Maybe she can directly contact them first? I saw shein stole desings from small business owners but they remove it after designer contact them on social media etc. it'd be a lot easier if they remove after contacting I think.
I started your following channel not to long ago and it inspired me to try and get into crochet 💫✨ I can’t wait to get crochet hooks and start following your tutorials. Thank you so much ❤❤😊😊
I'm here to let you know that I'm so in love with all the pieces you've created and you have helped me a lot in crocheting so I'm truly grateful thank you so much!!!! besides that PLEASE YES make a recreational winx outfits video, that'd be the best! thank you once again and have a good day, bestie!
i would say i enjoy the feel of the brand Wool-ease - it’s a wool and acrylic blend . i also enjoy literally all of Paintbox’s yarns as well - the yarn is super soft to me and is very beautiful

How does this have 1k likes and only 4 comments? Geez, I can try to fix that 😅

Love the fall cardigan so much!
Crotchets are so adorable, I need to learn.
I stopped my project to look up at your video as soon as you said Layla, I was like no way she recreated a Winx Club outfit. It came out amazing
also you really inspired me to go harder about this crochet thing. i’m tryna be like you by the end of the year. thank you❤
Green looks soooo good on you 💚

For the beanie, you should do a slip stitch instead of a single crochet, it makes it even less bulky. Love your channel. 🫶🏻
Very inspiring thank you. Really cute projects/garments. Possibly line the crochet handles with fabric.
I just discovered your channel within the last month. I'm encouraged by you to try making my on patchwork sweater this year. Keep up your awesomeness!
These are all so beautiful 😍! Great job! You inspire me to start crocheting things other than shawls and scarfs 😂
oml how do u chrochet so cleannnn
happy new year!!!
happy new year!
Your first time creations were amazing especially for a beginner.

Loved thisssss

Thats all so pretty ❤
For the tote bag that you lined also try to line the straps
You need to make a tutorial on the sweater vest on 8:22
Go to Walmart and get already cut material that matches your purses and sew them in to make a liner
Please do the Taylor Swift cardigan! And I love your channel
Pls do a pattern of smth of the howl sweater
I love it 💟💟
The fact is that i'm looking this video the 1th January 2024 😆❤️
Stan new jeans
what’s better for outfits… acrylic or cotton yarn?
it depends on the time of year & your personal preference:) cotton is used in a lot of our every day clothing and it’s the most breathable& natural id you’re comparing it to acrylic if that helps :)
I love your kindness in your intros!❤and I love crochet 🧶 I think those are two very good reasons to subscribe 🎉 (I just did😊)
omg i forgot you were a kpop stan!
We also take order you can check our work. We also made customers choice things.
also tip for the fuzzy yarn thing, get a fabric shaver! its a little shaver that glides over clothing and gently takes off that lint
That's a great tip!
Also if you do put your items in the dryer use little to no heat to avoid fuzz, air drying is highly recommended
stupid question but could that eventually thin out the yarn after a while?
