My favorite thing about X Flight is the amount of cell phones and sunglasses that fly out of pockets on the first drop right in front of the games by Buccaneer Battle 😂😂

I worked X-Flight in 2012 and this took me wayyyy back! I can't believe they got rid of the mushroom buttons! They were the best.

It wasn't bad with a good, efficient crew. That was rarely the case after that year. Not fun to operate with 3-4 on platform, checking the entire train.

Real similar to Intimidator! There are just a few differences but basically identical! Love your channel!

Yep! The B&Ms built in this time period have the same panel plus or minus a button or two.

You wouldn’t have one of Top Thrill Dragster? I herd that panel is one hum dinger. Lights and buttons galore.
Do you have to be trained with each coaster and take a test with each?
Also I herd to be certified, you must do a lift walk. I would be so scared to do one.

Certainly the case in the UK, you have to be trained and assessed on each individual ride. They won’t give you a big coaster to operate as your first ride, they’ll make you start on a lower risk ride. Walking a lift hill is part of the daily checks, especially on b&m coasters, so to become an operator, there’s no backing out of it

I worked at GateKeeper in 2017, it no longer has the mushroom advance/dispatch buttons either.

sfgamfan They broke, so they were replaced with the same kind of button as the emergency stop (however they are green, not red). If I could somehow send you a picture I would.

I know what you are talking about. The children rides had those for the presence button. I have a smaller version of the big mushrooms on my panel. I don't know why they don't purchase new ones they are not that much more expensive. Probably just don't carry extras and have extras of those because they are older.

So the buttons in the station, are they like a oh shit button where if you let go it wont let the operator dispatch and or stop the train?

Correct, to an extent. If someone lets off when the train is advancing in it will stop. If someone lets go on the way out, if it has already engaged the pre-lift tires, it will not stop.

nope only has ever run two. there is not enough blocks to justify having 3 trains.
