- Yas Mall was our go-to place for restaurants and stocking up with items for the room. In this video we have a look round some of the shops as well as grabbing some dinner and an ice cream. It was nice to see some familiar brands and stores from the past too.

How we love a trip around the shops... hope the Lays came through... we’ve never been to Chilli’s but the food looked great, and pistachio ice cream is a joy. Can’t get over how empty that mall was.

Another great video. I so look forward to your travel vlogs. No craziness or outlandish tricks. Just a lovely genuine family sharing their trips with some tips along the way. You have given us great ideas for trips ( we are officially team Universal now lol)with our grand munchkin who is 7 now. Young Jimmy is growing fast and a testament to your solid family. Love that you all enjoy the theme parks together. The slide looked fun! We are staying put for a few months as our new puppy is only 9 weeks. She needs the time and attention while we train her. Soon though another road trip to California.

I've honestly never seen anything like it. You could literally spend days in there and not get round everything. Yas Waterworld was brilliant and we were able to take the camera on the slides and the rollercoaster they have there too (as you do in a waterpark) 😂 Have a fab weekend ❤️ x

Hi guys, enjoyed walking around the mall with you, they are huge aren’t they? Love how you can get your American fix whilst in the UAE. We came home with loads of BBW and the best bit was the wallflower plug ins have the English type plug. 👏👏 hope you are all well 😊
Yes Lisa 🙌 The plug sockets are amazing and we were probably overly excited when we first found out lol. Absolutely loved the mall and very nostalgic seeing Toys R Us and Debenhams again ❤️

I am not sure if that mall was built when we went in 2019, I seem to remember Ferrari World was out on its own ( the WB theme park was not built back then) . That food looked a good deal on price and quality. You brought back a lot of memories on those classic UK stores, we found a C&A in one of the Dubai malls we had to visit for the nostalgia. You are never to old to go on a slide.❤
Just had a look and the mall seems to have opened in 2014 but perhaps it was done in stages as it is massive. I believe there was also a seperate entrance to the park from outside which may explain it 👍

Mango chutney is very sweet and it is our favourite dip when we have poppadoms when we eat Indian food. Its raining here again so glad you are having nicer weather ❤️
Boots is actually CVS here in the states as they were bought out although the Boots name still exists. Cvs bought a huge number of various names in the states eqcards being the major one and they bought out a lot of family places too. We are pretty much using two major pharmacies which are CVS and Walgreens that’s it.

Chili’s it’s usually a good idea to do the deals of 2 for $20 or 3 for $30. It’s a bit cheaper. I’m not sure if other countries have a similar deal.

If you love books try a place called the Strand in NYC as literally it’s like three kilometers of books and you never know what you’re gonna find inside. I found a book of old communist posters once which I didn’t pick up but it was strange, I also found a book on oddities of England for some reason. You never know.

Virgin megastore lost its charm after the electronic shift. Basically virgin couldn’t keep up with the MP3 and the shift from discs to pure electronic devices. Although I hear old records are coming back although with Bluetooth and wireless connectivity. My brother has a record player like that.
We used to love the Virgin stores in the UK. Most shops are boarded up now days in our city centre sadly

Evening Guys, hope your all well, always wondered why their aren't any Chilis over in the UK considering they are all over, we went once in Florida and wished we had gone more times, did you ever try Frenchies frozen yogurt on city walk?? - just down from the BK whopper bar- we went there as Coldstone Creamery was too busy one night and was really surprised, decent alternative - also did you see the release date for Stranger things musical? its December 14th!!!! think the tickets go on sale on the 28/3!!!!
We've never tried Frozen Yoghurt but will have to give it a go if you recommend it. I've got the stranger things dates circled on the calendar already 🤞

Ma and the wife are off the Dubai in may for 5 nights.
I think I have said before like you have been to Florida loads but with us we have lost interest in Florida after 14 times and are waiting for our 2 grandchildren to grow up a bit before we go back and wanted to try something different.
My question is can you use your debit cards over there or is it cash.
I have a Mastercard but only use in it emergency.
We have set a target of £700 a day but don’t want to get that amount of cash out.

Hi, we took a mix of cash and our revolut card. I would recommend taking some cash with you but cards are readily accepted. From memory we only took about £150 in cash but its handy for tipping and the taxi to and from the airport. Have a great time - we want to go to Dubai and visit Motiongate 👍
