I have the 32 inch M7 version of 2022.. Compared to the 27 IPS 4k screen I've got, the Samsung screen quality is really bad.. But it gives you smart TV function and HDMI ARC port for soundbar..
Does anyone know if this supports ethernet adapter via USB A adapter or USB C ?

Is there any benefit to getting these vs just a QLED Samsung for approximately the same price? I don't really game, just want a larger mounted monitor to add some real estate to my laptop for audio editing, graphics and TV watching.
Just get the QLED TV. I really don't see a purpose of this monitor existing, tbh.

Bro what is your software version? I am not able to get this updated UI on this monitor. I am on 2301 version.
You probably have the M70A version, while he has the M70B version.
Can you use a soundbar via hdmi to avoid the audio latency? Or does that mean you lose the port to be able to plug a laptop in?
Funny enough, that feature is not listed on the spec sheet and I don't have any HDMI soundbar to test.
That feature is called HDMI ARC or eARC.
Yes you can, provided your sounder or speaker system supports"HDMI(ARC)". The monitor DOES have a "HDMI(ARC)" port and you can use that for your sound output.

Yes. I've seen people do it on a phone or tablet but I personally prefer a PC

Your situation seems weird. Which cable are you using?
@@NasiLemakTech I used 3 different cables, one being the USBc to USBc cable that came with my iPad.
Its difficult to tell which cable you have though. You'll need a USB 3 C to C cable.
Easiest way is to use a Thunderbolt 3 or Thunderbolt 4 cable as they're labeled clearly.
I'm looking for a 43" monitor specifically as a work PC monitor. Price on this is great compared to a standard monitor. Would you recommend this for my need or do you have another recommendation?
I'd recommend you get a 43-inch TV instead. Should be cheaper than a 43-inch monitor but the panel isn't as quick or have features like adjusting brightness via you PC for example.
I got this at Micro Center for $370 a week ago to replace a 32" monitor. Text is crisp and clear. Colors pop. So far the only disappointment is the short 1 year warranty and the USB-C cable that accompanies it is much too short.

Is it possible to overcome split screen issue by using Microsoft Power Toys app?
I doubt. The split screen issue is from the operating system of the TV itself.
Which means we'll have to use MacOS or Windows to imitate a split screen, which defeats the purpose of having a smart monitor to begin with.
Using type -c to 3.5mm jack can we use for external speaker 🔊?

how about upward converting 720p and 1080p contents and streaming Netflix with fiber optics, do you think this m7 is better or low end samsung 4k tv such as u7000 better? thanks
The usage is different. If you only want to watch Netflix on the TV, then get the 4K TV. The only benefit of getting the M7 is the ability to "do work" with it.
Won't using the 3.5mmaux input from the pc tower solve the audio issue?
Only for the monitor part. Once you use it as a TV, you're stuck with the internal speakers again
I use soundbar with aux and hdmi arc for this monitor... Aux for pc and hdmi arc for tv ( tizen os)
mmm i like this monitor and I now want one in 43 inch...lol.....I will add external speakers KANTO TUK's with a matching subwoofer....should be perfect i think for my PC....will be NO GAMING but will be NETFLIX...WEB SURFING...SOCIAL MEDIA...UTUBE....AMAZON PRIME..DISNEY PLUS etc....what are your thoughts on this set up...thx ...cheers from Canada
I think it should work fine for your usage.
The Kanto speakers is a good choice too. I think it'll be a really great setup!

it also supports eARC granted the USB 2-0 is a letdown in this day and age but at least there's the USB Type C!

I suggest just getting a Samsung TV. No need to get the Smart Monitor for that purpose

Yeah for PS4 and Netflix purpose, just get a basic Samsung TV. Don't need a smart monitor.
How do you compare this vs using 43 4k tv as monitor? Like prism+ q43
I never tried the Prism+ TV before. If you're looking for a pure monitor, then you don't need these smart features honestly. They're more like a bonus for those who want to also stream movies from sites like Netflix without the need of a laptop or desktop.

@@NasiLemakTech from bezel to screen area. I think 1 cm gap in top left and right but not bottom.
Oh you mean the screen has unequal gaps between the 4 sides.
I probably recommend you to send it in for warranty.
@@NasiLemakTech no not unequal. Between screen and bezel it has 1 cm gap on all three sides except Bottom. The samsung guy said it is that way bt default.
Hello, how is the screen of this monitor?.
Windows auto turn off screen after specified minutes in power plan settings,
Normal monitor > click mouse or tap the keyboard > the screen will be on again.
This Smart Monitor is different, it go to sleep state but is not on again (must use remote to turn it on)
Anyone have the same issue?
Dude u cn always connect ur audio system directly to ur pc...or even u cn convert them to usb and plug in directly to the monitor.
Did you try doing this? Would love to connect my speakers directly to the monitor as I will be using it with multiple devices.
There is an issue that when you connect your laptop by HDMI RUclips videos ( except 4k 8k ) playing by lagging. I went to the store yesterday and checked with Samsung staff there. They told me have not realized before this issue. There has to be a setting / or settings which will sort out this delay. It is 60 hz and when i connect my Apple Cinema Display 30 inch it works great. So it made me thought. Even it has DVI connected monitor. On the other hand when you play RUclips videos through monitor's own app then it works flawlessly. So same device and different outcomes ...
may be your laptop's gpu is weak?

It's not, I believe it's the only M8 that includes the camera, the colorful ones.
42 or 43 is best size for a monitor ... i will never use any monitor or pc speaker ... btw who would use a 43inch tv/monitor speaker ... a klipsch is an easy fix

Correct! You can still use a basic smart TV for your laptop/PC and Netflix anyway. No point doing Office 365 work on the monitor if it lags

In a way, yes. I don’t think Samsung makes premium 43-inch TVs right? As in without the “smart” features that are found in this smart monitor
yesss you are right terrible monitor. but they sell it for 290 dolars. if somebody can find a apple pro display for this money i will go and buy one.

Are you using 4K? Correct cables etc? I have an M2 Mini connected and mine looks great in 4k.
