You must have quite a collection of Laser engravers by now. You certainly have impressed the various manufacturers. You certainly have impressed me. It is a beautiful machine. And even though the price is high it appears reasonable compared to other machines. Thank you for sharing Gord. Have a great day and a great result with the chemo. Take care and keep up the good work.❤❤❤❤
Hi Glen, I don’t actually have a large collection as I have given away to my kids a number of them. I think this one will be a keeper, although at the rate of the improvements and design of these machines, there could be an even better one soon. Gotta love technology! Take care, …..Gord
Well Gord you certainly are having fun with electronic equipment! This latest one looks like a good buy but for me it would just sit because me and computer programs are enemies! It was nice seeing you again and back in your shop, thanks! Cheers Al
Looks like a nice machine Gord, Definitely would be a nice upgrade from the little 1 Watt NEJE I am using now although fo $80 it has served me well for the last 6 years. Will have to look into this one.
@@GordonRock1 I sent in the $20 upfront fee $28 CDN will order later. Just wish theur site told us the difference between the various options. Want the rotary but next upgrade only shows what might be pieces of wood in various colours.
Wow, that looks like a dandy of a machine, Gord! Really good job of explaining all the features! I like the auto-raising feature. Hope you can figure out how to lower it again! LOL! Good job on the review, my friend! 😊 Phil
Glad you liked it, Phil. I think this one is a keeper. Mind you, the various companies are inventing new machines at an incredible rate. This one will probably be superceded very shortly. Gotta love technology! 😎😎
Gordon I saw I think every Video out on the Wecreat and yours actually makes me want to purchase it. I did already. I do hope all goes well with the chemo. I will keep you in my Prayers. Hubby just got his 5 year Cancer free clearance last week. He still has his issues he lost 3/4 of his stomach and had his esophagus reran with his stomach but he is still on this side of the dirt. The key is always trying to keep his protein up and lots of prayer I will check back on you Sandra
Bless you, Sandra. You can’t imagine how much this means to me. I hope you will enjoy the WeCreat Vision! I know I will when I get back to it. All the best to you and your husband. …..Gord
Well, you certainly have caught the attention of laser engraver manufacturers. That says something about the quality of reviews that you do. This unit looks like an impressive machine. I would not mind owing one of these myself. But, I can not justify buying even with $500 discount. If there was a need for it, I would certainly consider making the purchase. But for me, there is no need. My only concern that I can see is that the machine takes up a lot of real estate on a shop work table or elsewhere. The size would make it hard to store in another part of the shop. That would be my only beef about the laser unit without actually trying it out for myself.
Yes, it does take a lot of desk space. It’s also very tall so a lower table would have been better. I’m feeling extremely lucky to have been chosen to review it. Price is always a consideration and I wouldn’t justify it if I was paying for it. If I was younger and more energetic it would be a wonderful way to start a business. Thanks for watching, John! …..Gord
Very interesting review on the WeCreat laser especially with it being a closed machine. I can see the advantages of everything enclosed. Yes, if you have time, I would like to see the rotary engraver work on the machine. Thanks, Gord, for the informative video. I hope your health is back to 100%.
I am happy that you liked the review, Kent. Also, thank you for the kind words. I started my chemotherapy today, so we’ll see how that goes. Thanks for watching, my friend. …..Gord
Looks like a great machine Gord. I recently picked up the D1 Pro 40W and am still learining how to use it. It's been a lot of fun so far. Thanks for the video on this machine. Take care, Steve
How nice to hear from you, Steve! It’s been a long time, my friend. I have used the xTool D1 pro in the past and it was a very good machine. Quite liked using it. Thanks for watching! Take care, …..Gord
Nice to see you back in the shop Gord👍 Wow that’s one big machine, I sure like the finished products they all turned out very nice. Would love to see a video with the rotary working and what kind of finish is produced. I can only dream of having a laser, maybe one day? Take care, Wayne
I will try to do a video on the rotary roller. I start my chemotherapy later today though, so it might be a while before I am able to do anything. Thanks for watching, Wayne! Take care, …..Gord
I just realized I never replied to our last conversion. Busy days. That machine is amazing. On first glance I thought it was limited. Then I saw the amazing detail on soft balsa, followed by the engraving on metal. I'll just say that I'd enjoy seeing more on that machine and it's further accessories. Happy Thanksgiving, Gord!
Well, Jay, busy beats bored. I will probably publish a video on the rotary roller but it won’t be soon. I start my chemotherapy this morning and I’m told that I will be needing a great deal of rest. Take care my friend, …..Gord
Yes, it is out of most of our price ranges, Heather. I realize that I am very fortunate to have it sent to me for free. Otherwise, I certainly would not have one.
I can't understand why anyone would want a slat bed instead of the honeycomb bed. The honeycomb bed that comes with the Roly is magnetic and IMHO ideal for holding items in place with magnets. But I lake a lot of the other features of this machine.
I agree with you, Terry. A honeycomb bed is the only way to go. One that is magnetic is a bonus! Yes, this is a very good machine. They seem to be getting better all the time. …..Gord
Looks like a nice machine, but inability to run under Lightburn is a big problem for me. Both of my machines (EleksMaker A3 Pro and ATEZR P20+) can run with Lightburn ... not sure I want to learn another piece of software.
I understand what you’re saying, Gerald. I am a big fan of Lightburn but I was surprised at how easy this software is to learn. I am looking forward to the day when they have it ported over to Lightburn but that might be a while for all I know. Other than the failure to work with Lightburn I think it’s a great machine! Thanks for watching, Gerald. Stay well, my friend. …..Gord
Thanks for the quick reply. I have one more question..can you use laser cut files that you buy from etsy or other laser cut files from the internet? Thanks again.
Yes you can! I have purchased a few of them and they have turned out beautifully. The problem I have is that there are so many beautiful choices on Etsy and I would like to have most of them! If you decide to get an engraver I hope you have as much fun with it as I do, Phyllis. Take care, .....Gord
I have been watching laser videos for months, but am so afraid that i will buy one and not be able to figure it out. Do you feel this one is a smaller learning curve? Thanks for the video.
Yes I do, Phyllis! The software seems fairly simple. If you don’t want to go to the trouble of learning Lightburn, when it is available for this machine, you will not have to. Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching!
I’m a big fan of Lightburn and look forward to being able to use it with the WeCreat Vision. However, while Lightburn offers more options, WeCreat software is very good. It’s also easier to learn. All the best, …..Gord
Gord I noticed you are not using the exhaust hose connector, would you be okay to sell the original connector. Would like one to put in a panel for the window.
I won't sell it to you, Rick, but I will "give" it to you. Give me your mailing address and I will try to get it in the mail tomorrow or Friday. I would not feel right about selling something that was given to me. One of my kids wants the engraver but didn't say anything about the hose connector. .....Gord
@@GordonRock1 Thanks Gord, don't know anyone around here that could make one like you did for the larger hose. Not sure what they told customs but duty and brokerage fees to DHL only came to $35. Mailing address is P.O. Box 243, Bothwell ON. NOP 1C0. Let me know the shipping cost and I will get that sent to you.
My apologies, Rick. I have had a bit of a regression due to my chemo and have not made it to the post office yet. I will try to get it sent as soon as possible! …..Gord
@@GordonRock1 No problem Gord, your health comes first. I had some problems with the machine locking up part way through a job. Great review as ever my friend.

Wow the engrave came out awesome
I’m glad you liked it, Laura. I am thrilled with it!
Great review Gord. Thanks for sharing and best of luck with the chemo.
Thank you so much, Michael. I appreciate that more than I can say!
They say it'll engrave food, I'd like to see that done.
Thanks for the suggestion. I’ll see what I can do.
Looks like a nice machine Gord, Definitely would be a nice upgrade from the little 1 Watt NEJE I am using now although fo $80 it has served me well for the last 6 years. Will have to look into this one.
