What’s so great about this series is that the intros kept getting worse and worse in the best way possible, and none of us would have it any other way.
Suchomimus is the best spinosaur, and possibly one of the best dinosaurs period, in the whole game. It’s design is beautiful, and actually looks like a Suchomimus. Combine that with some amazing patterns and colors, and you’ve got yourself a solid addition to the roster. I think it’s safe to say I love this thing, and use it in nearly every park.
The reason suchomimus has a good design is because they took it from the 2015 JW movie promo website. Unfortunately for baryonyx and microceratus, they did not keep their promo website designs and were given super ugly designs by Univsersal.
Justice must be served! Suchomimus for H tier! The way it lays down to drink is enough to qualify it for "cute little guy" tier, even if its objectively otherwise monsterous.

The claws on this model seem at best consistent with the bone core, but it should have some pretty substantial extra size and length from the keratin core. If you want your dinosaurs to be more fierce, why understate the claws from even a conservative size? Just strikes me as a strange choice.

I honestly thought that Suchomimus would have gotten H-tier rating from everyone? I'm siding with Scott and Dalton on their arguments. lol This is arguably the ONLY perfect/near perfect Spinosaur, and one of the fairly few near perfect theropods in the entire game.
I have always known it as a fish fry here in New York State (dunno about NYC but definitely the rest of the state). I for one would love to have a Suchomimus help out with the fishing part (and the fish fry itself, despite the running and screaming)
As much as I wanted to see Suchomimus in the film franchise, I was also thik it’s best it never made the cut so that the gorgeous website design could remain canon instead of being butchered (Side eyes Baryonyx)
I've never had much interest in Suchomimus as my interest in spinosaurs was always diverted to Baryonyx and Spinosaurus but this video was super enlightening. It's really great to see an authentic, well-realised animal portrayed in popular media. I love it's sounds, shape, patterns and animations; a truly elegant design that would absolutely terrify me if I met it in real life XD
I’m kinda bummed about them not letting Suchomimus keep its edge lord skin, which was the black one with red markings. That thing was so cool. It also was known as My Chemical Suchomimus.
Suchomimus is my favorite spinosaurid partly because as a kid i was penpals with Paul Sereno and he even brought the claw of Suchomimus for me to hold. It was sooooo heavy for little old 6 or 7 year old me ( it was before the skeleton was erected at Navy Pier's Children Museum i cant remember exactly when)

One thing I've always wondered about spinosaurids is that (very) generally wherever you find them you also find carcharodontosaurs, EXCEPT in North America where we have Acrocanthosaurus but no spinosaur to accompany it. We have both types of dinosaurs from Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America, but only one from North America. Where is North America's missing spinosaur?

Suchomimus is one os my favorite dinosaurs from the game, I think it is the best looking spinosaurid of the three. And speaking about Suchomimus and the clade Baryonychinae, I would like to say that on this year the discovery of teeth from northern Brazil may show that this group of spinosaurids was also present in South America. Those teeth were very similar to the ones seen in Suchomimus and are considered the oldest remains of spinosaurs in the continent, being dated from between the Berriasian and Valanginian ages. Being this old probably would make the similarities between Africa and South America faunas even more prevalent because of the larger portion of land connecting the two continents, and as genus such as Sarcosuchus and Araripesuchus are both know from Niger and Brazil, plus sauropods similar to Nigersaurus also being found in Brazil would make the presence of Baryonychinae spinosaurs (or at least similar looking basal spinosaurs) in South America more plausible.

_Suchomimus_ is my second favorite spinosaurid and among my top 20 favorite dinosaurs. It's elegant, it's ferocious, it's exotic and this design captures all of that while still maintaining the appearance of a real animal. I too am filled with great sadness that it did not make it to H tier.

It has an elegance that the dumpster fire that is Baryonyx, and even the famous / infamous (depending on where you stand) Spinosaurus, simply can’t match. Edit: Having made it through all of the stunlocks and the entire video, lol, I'm delighted to hear that James's sentiments (Edit 2: And Scott's, re it being one of the best designs in the game!) pretty closely echo mine.
Speaking as a Brit, a surprising number of people fish at the beach, because the alternative is swimming in the North Sea, or sunbathing in total cloud cover.
The Sucho in the game seems smaller than it should be for some reason, but beyond that it’s one of my favorites in the whole game. Can’t imagine a park without it
My personal head cannon for why spinosaur material is not well preserved even though they lived in flucial environments is that carcasses were quickly cannibalized by other spinosaurs when they died in rivers. Could also explain why dinosaur fossils in the Kem Kem are so fragmentary
