A really enjoyable video. We did the trip in the other direction in 2019 a couple of months before you, but we were in our narrowboat and met 'your' trip boat near Silver Jubilee Bridge. At only a 6ft air draft we didn't have the views of the surrounding landscape that you had and they didn't have to swing or lift the bridges for us, but it was a great experience nevertheless, especially being dwarfed by all the ships moored up or coming the other way. We were on our own going through all 5 locks which in theory each could accommodate 120 narrowboats!
I remember doing this in the Nineteen fifties from Latchford too Newbrighton and back. It seemed to take forever.
Thanks. I enjoyed the trip immensely but you could see how Salford had become so "gentrified"!

Very interesting the Carrington power station is now a paper mill 👍
Hi there, thanks for that update.
Getting too expensive now. Turns around at Latchford
Nice trip. 24:48 there is a typo. Should read Mode Wheel Locks. :)
