If you're a sports fan specially here in South America, a portable FM Radio like this can be a huge life saver, maybe your phone is dead so you can't keep up with the live score, maybe you're far from a TV and can't watch the broadcast. I've seen people on stadiums with these, watching the game and listening to the commentary on the radio, it's also better than using an internet dependent radio app on your phone because there's almost no delay.
just tested it and it sounds like stereo? I'll be honest I kept tuning stations to see if something came up and only one did sound like a few different instruments were only in the left or right channel
Wish I could give a concrete answer but so far the stations I pull up give me the impression it's mono. Spent a good 10 minutes trying different stations and songs.
I guess the upside is the battery lasts longer... but besides the news nothings good on the radio lol
I usually tune to classic stations only :) there is a good 80’s station that I listen to mostly
