control protocols are sent back to the cameras on the program output. If you have aux 1 going back to the cameras then you need to send program over that aux to control them
Great video. Do you have video on using this atem switcher ? Every video I see is just a review. you actually went through some of the settings. Love to know how to place audio and see it inside the switcher. Not understanding how this works.
Can this mixer do audio syncing? At any festival we should be able to add ambience into mixer and to be albe to control it's volume and syncing. Otherwise it's audio mixer is mostly just other expensive for it's utility and price (I mean here about mixer + Atem Microphone converters needed to add more inputs).
@@pavementdotmedia not really. Is a video mixer dedicated to live production meant to achieve as an "All in one" type. (video switching, live streaming, audio mixing). Why should bother with madi an all microphone converters? I mean, it has professional purpose for audio too. Ambiance is extremly important for this kind of stuff.
In the manual reads that it is possible to split audio channels in settings menu, i have try everything.. but i just don't find that setting.. do you find that? i know i can do that with atem software but intrested to know where it is in the menu
if you change button 8 from a camera to supersource, does the 8 button up by the Aux output selectors now send supersource down the aux?

Thanks! I was under the impression that any signal on an output sent control data but you’re correct. I appreciate the clarification

I see all of the audio capabilities on these as bonus features and not a primary way a handling a full production’s audio.

Hmmm. I've only done it in the audio settings of the ATEM software
@@pavementdotmedia Yep but the manual say that you can do that also from atem control panel settings
