    Love the new intro mate, sometimes when your fishing it's not catching the fish that counts it's the adventure and the scenery.

    Woah that cartoon intro was so cool! Great work Tom Maher! You were very unlucky with the 2 you dropped, you will have to remember where they live for next time. I've got a feeling the cod fishing is going to pickup towards the end of the month, just a hunch but lets hope I'm right haha. Great video as always mate.

    Hi Robbie, what you picked up is a ghost moth.
    It's first stage is a bardie Grub, same as we use for catching cod.

      Awesome. Thanks Gary. We call them a Bardi moth. Some people call them a rain moth because they usually come out after rain late in summer. Actually, after today's rain I suspect we may see a few soon.
      Same moth... many different names. Haja

    The weather has been so cold the fish are very on and off. A hot day followed by a cold week is what we are getting. The fishing is great as soon as there is some warmth in the water, but the cold days and very cold rain are making things a little bit harder.

    I reckon that's them Bo'gong moths (giant moth in the water) They're mosly nocturnal,
    that means the in the last 24 to 48 hr's there's been a big congregation of them to that area, meaning all the cod would be chock-a-block full of them.. also replacing your lure with the Bogong moth pattern lure would have probably helped you're dwindling chances, thats my thorts.. nevertheless still a great day out

      Thanks mate. Jason actually put a white moth lure on and had 1 small boof on it. They were just really shut down for some reason.

      @@robbiefishing 😂🤣 does it count if Ive watched some of your videos from nearly ten year ago .I've been watching for a long time I reckon it's well over 6 years I've been watching since early on but I didn't comment much on RUclips.I I'll try contact you on patreon I have no idea why but the apps been playing up on me flat out. Ive deleted it and downloaded it again but didn't make much difference it takes ages to get into sometimes and then you can't at all sometimes as well I'm going to pick up a tablet tomorrow so I reckon it will work on that see how I go 👍👍👍

      @@robbiefishing forgot to add lol. I'm moving around the Shepparton area in around 3 months so I won't be to far away from you then and will make it way easier .When I get there and I'm settled in going to ramp up the lure making and do that more than I have been and should be 🤣😂👊

    A day of a 1000 casts as I’d say! That moth was bleddy huge 😮 looks like it would need a 12 gauge to take it out 😂😂

      Thanks mate. hahaha They are bardi grub moths. We usually don't see them until the first rain in autumn, or often mid to late February. This one was a little bit early.
