Really awesome your hard work has enabled you to do your dream job Robert, congratulations on leaving your job to fish full time with your 3rd eye strapped to your head. Great for us, wonderful for you.
Woah that cartoon intro was so cool! Great work Tom Maher! You were very unlucky with the 2 you dropped, you will have to remember where they live for next time. I've got a feeling the cod fishing is going to pickup towards the end of the month, just a hunch but lets hope I'm right haha. Great video as always mate.
Awesome. Thanks Gary. We call them a Bardi moth. Some people call them a rain moth because they usually come out after rain late in summer. Actually, after today's rain I suspect we may see a few soon. Same moth... many different names. Haja
The weather has been so cold the fish are very on and off. A hot day followed by a cold week is what we are getting. The fishing is great as soon as there is some warmth in the water, but the cold days and very cold rain are making things a little bit harder.
Cool video! I recently discovered your channel when I was searching for trout fishing tips. I didn't know they had trout in Australia. I'm amazed how much Australia looks like California where I live.
Hi Sharon, thank you so much for your amazing support. I hope Jason enjoyed it, and the afternoon. The fishing was slow but we couldn't have asked for better weather. It was just perfect.
Great Vids Robbie. I've been watching you on the telly for a long time, but have logged into RUclips on the laptop to like and comment. Awesome Bro. See ya later Mate
I reckon that's them Bo'gong moths (giant moth in the water) They're mosly nocturnal, that means the in the last 24 to 48 hr's there's been a big congregation of them to that area, meaning all the cod would be chock-a-block full of them.. also replacing your lure with the Bogong moth pattern lure would have probably helped you're dwindling chances, thats my thorts.. nevertheless still a great day out

Thanks so much mate. What a hell of a journey I am on!
Nice peaceful river!
Love the new intro mate, sometimes when your fishing it's not catching the fish that counts it's the adventure and the scenery.
Great to see you back in the yaks Robbie, my kind of fishing
Still nice to see that blue cod!
Like a moth to a naked blade lol 😝. Great start Robbie mate and excellent intro.. Looks exactly like you ha

Hi Robbie, what you picked up is a ghost moth.
It's first stage is a bardie Grub, same as we use for catching cod.

Another great viewing Robbie 👍
I knew I should have gone fishing with you when I first started watching ,now your too famous to fish with 😂
