Very true I agree, I've bought hair from 2 different websites that were on a hair guru's channel and all 3 wigs were bad & they had a very bad smell. The reviews on some sites seem so real and that's the main thing I look at is the reviews. 🤦🏽♀️ I'm trying to get a wig and/or clip ins that will last me at least a year or longer to wear as a protective style. My beauty supply store has good wigs but none that will last that long.
I just got Burmese clip ins and I think the curl size is mine BUT it’s not a complete “coil” it’s a very relaxed curl as if i put a relaxer in my hair. It almost looks wavy because the spiral isn’t as tight as I want it. I’m sure if it spiraled all the way like I wanted it would be the perfect coil size butttt it doesn’t

I've had two wigs from this company that are still holding up good after a year of wearing them daily, but ngl clip ins are a whole other story. I've bought clip ins from other companies as well and they tend to dry out faster than kinky curly wigs even though they are the same texture. Maybe the way they process them is the issue but I can definitely vouch for their wigs.
I don’t know if all these curly hair brands are the same hair but I bought from curls curls and better length which better length was much more pricey and after a couple of months the same thing happened
Omg I purchased the hair as well and I'm very disappointed. It turns to a matted mess. It is gorgeous while wet but baby once it dries it's a nappy/matted afro. I would not recommend this hair and they censor the reviews (choose which reviews they share)that's why they're all so positive With 4/5 stars. Buyer beware.

Hey, have you tried big chop hair? I ordered the corkscrew curl clip ins for my 4c hair and I have had them for two years and they still legit af. just like my natural hair I spray water and use hair cream.
I've had really good results with better lengths hair! ordered twice and been wearing them for 2 yrs. I have 3b/3c type hair and I'm not into wetting my hair everyday. so i wasn't trying to do that with clip ins either. I can go 3-4 days before having to wet my better lengths hair or put anything in it, and i don't wear bonnets and stuff either. I know i should but I'm lazy so there, and I still love that hair. I just rinse it weekly and put Cantu leave in cream conditioner and that's it.
I’ve experienced the same issue with Betterlength. I followed their care instructions to the t. I bought the exact name hair care products everything. And after a few weeks the hair dries super quick. Sheds so bad the hair begins to thin out and the coating on clips begin peeling. I’ve reached out to customer and complained it took almost two weeks of back and forth. They offered me to pay them $90 for a new bundle after I’ve already spent $200 plus. So I declined the offer. I would prefer my money back or at least half since I did wear the product.
I have purchased several wigs from Curls Curls and have noticed a change this year. I purchase lace front wigs that tend to get matted at the front on the lace part, ALL THE TIME. The hair on the weft parts of the wig are always in good condition and never get tangled or knotted. My last unit was the worst yet - this wig is consistently dry and shedding like crazy and only 9 weeks old. Happy at last to see someone doing an honest review. My only wish is that I had seen this video clip 18 months ago. I will not be purchasing anymore wigs from Curls Curls

I git my clip on from Walmart. I washed in a good shampoo and leave in conditioner. I have no shedding and drying out. They are not as thick or dense as curls curls. That's how I like them. For me it looks more natural. I love it. It would be perfect if they would sell the invisible weft though. I spray a little gold hair spray in the front and it lasts forever. $40
I was just about to spend $400 with them. I’m glad and thankful you posted this. Once again, another company that give the RUclipsrs great quality and give the others the cheaper version. It’s a tactic they use to increase profits quickly and it’s HORRIBLE BUSINESS.

Do throw them away, just buy silicone mix. Cut hair has to be treated differently. I wish people new how to take care of wigs for the long term. You can keep them for years with the right products.
mstamalaj you don’t use a lot of product on hair that you put in your head. Not only that but this video was edited to be short it took me a while to prep the hair before I put it on. I shampooed and conditioned each clip in strip. When I conditioned it I put a little palm full at a time. This wasn’t a tutorial video it was a review. I added in the footage to show that I did take steps to prep the hair before putting it in my hair so 🤷🏽♀️ next time ask how much conditioner instead of assuming because again this was a review not a tutorial if it was a Tutorial I would’ve added that in the description. Any African American woman knows to use a good amount of conditioner on your hair because our hair is naturally dry. Conditioner not only helps moisturize our hair but it promotes a softer and more manageable Mane as well as a supply of nutrients to the root if deep conditioned. Lol
That texture doesn’t look like it matches your texture. You look like you have high proproaity hair. For 4B you need to use a LOT of products. The clippins are my natural texture, and I have to moisturize my hair throughout the day if it's a wash and go, just like I have to do the clippins. It’s supposed to mimic real hair. Not all hair is easy

That's weird. I got a kinky straight bob from them and it's still just has good as they day I bought it and it's been more than a year now. The nape hasn't even tangled at all like the other ones I have. It depends on how you take care of it and what products you use.
I wish I would have seen this video before I made my purchase. It seems as if my hair was mixed in with synthetic hair. The hair doesn't hold curls and it sheds terribly 😔
Same here, spent 300 on a lace front wig, what a waste! Bald patches and excessive shedding after only 3 weeks. Not to mention free form locs! I mean if I wanted locs I would have bought loc extensions 🤷🏾♀️ Not worth it!
I had a problem with Curls Curls clip ins until I found the right product. I wore them once, took them out, didn’t sleep in them, but they looked terrible. They weren’t matted, there was just no curl pattern. I couldn’t get the curls back. I tried several products. Since I was new at this, I thought I was doing something wrong. I put them away for a year. A few weeks ago I decided to try again with yet another product. This time it worked. I am loving these curls.

If I recall, they were too high maintenance for me. I have used so many products since then. My current products are Dark & Natural Au Naturale, Design Essentials curl stretching crème, ECO styling gel Olive oil, Kinky Curly Curling Mustard. I also have many TGIN products. I use one of these products on my kinky curly wigs until I find one that works. Sorry I can’t help you more.

chelseacc c I do like them. They aren’t 100% human hair, I can tell because I’ve been wearing hair extensions for about 15 years. They do get matted, tangled and they shed. However, they do look real. I’ve been sleeping with mine in for 5 days. If you want to avoid the serious tangles you can take them out. I spray mine with conditioner and water everyday twice a day to keep the curls nice and fresh.

I paid for the hair through PayPal and never got a confirmation number for the actual transaction and they say they don’t see an order from me. Mr sister used the Norton security system and it cannot find there IPEI address and there is no customer service phone number to reach this company you can only reach them by email… so now I’m disputing the charges to get my money back through my bank 😤curls curls thumbs down👎🏾👎🏾😤

I’ve had mine over a year I turned it into a wig 😂 I turned it into a ponytail they been through it... it’s only the shedding but it matches my hair great

i had clips 2yrs going strong,use good shampoo and a bit of leave in conditioner.and dont just stuff it in bag twist and put it away
I had mine for two years now it some what lost the curl pattern.
How did you care for them? I just got mine and now I’m scared of messing them up or drying them out

I definitely understand this. I bought some betterlength clip ins and had to toss them away. Same thing!
Do throw them away, just buy silicone mix. Cut hair has to be treated differently. I wish people new how to take care of wigs for the long term. You can keep them for years with the right products.

mstamalaj you don’t use a lot of product on hair that you put in your head. Not only that but this video was edited to be short it took me a while to prep the hair before I put it on. I shampooed and conditioned each clip in strip. When I conditioned it I put a little palm full at a time. This wasn’t a tutorial video it was a review. I added in the footage to show that I did take steps to prep the hair before putting it in my hair so 🤷🏽♀️ next time ask how much conditioner instead of assuming because again this was a review not a tutorial if it was a Tutorial I would’ve added that in the description. Any African American woman knows to use a good amount of conditioner on your hair because our hair is naturally dry. Conditioner not only helps moisturize our hair but it promotes a softer and more manageable Mane as well as a supply of nutrients to the root if deep conditioned. Lol
That texture doesn’t look like it matches your texture. You look like you have high proproaity hair. For 4B you need to use a LOT of products. The clippins are my natural texture, and I have to moisturize my hair throughout the day if it's a wash and go, just like I have to do the clippins. It’s supposed to mimic real hair.

I think if your natural hair has more shine you might not like them, I didn’t want to shiny hair that didn’t match mine

I purchase their wig... it was good for about 6 months. Same.. dry.. have to keep it now as a half wig.. and combed out fro to match my hair 🙄
That's weird. I got a kinky straight bob from them and it's still just has good as they day I bought it and it's been more than a year now. The nape hasn't even tangled at all like the other ones I have. It depends on how you take care of it and what products you use.
I wish I would have seen this video before I made my purchase. It seems as if my hair was mixed in with synthetic hair. The hair doesn't hold curls and it sheds terribly 😔

Same here, spent 300 on a lace front wig, what a waste! Bald patches and excessive shedding after only 3 weeks. Not to mention free form locs! I mean if I wanted locs I would have bought loc extensions 🤷🏾♀️ Not worth it!

I had a problem with Curls Curls clip ins until I found the right product. I wore them once, took them out, didn’t sleep in them, but they looked terrible. They weren’t matted, there was just no curl pattern. I couldn’t get the curls back. I tried several products. Since I was new at this, I thought I was doing something wrong. I put them away for a year. A few weeks ago I decided to try again with yet another product. This time it worked. I am loving these curls.

@@harrison3573 I’m sorry but this was a year ago and I don’t remember the specific product I used on those clip ins. I threw them away a few months after this post. If I recall, they were too high maintenance for me. I have used so many products since then. My current products are Dark & Natural Au Naturale, Design Essentials curl stretching crème, ECO styling gel Olive oil, Kinky Curly Curling Mustard. I also have many TGIN products. I use one of these products on my kinky curly wigs until I find one that works. Sorry I can’t help you more.

HOWEVAAA I am not interested in short term clip ins I want them to last foevaaaa to add volume and length (even tho my hair is already long; yes i am dramatic hehe) but chileeee it looked bad when u took it out; matted and dry; oh no. jeezzz I will continue the search thank you for this video pretty! xx

chelseacc c I do like them. They aren’t 100% human hair, I can tell because I’ve been wearing hair extensions for about 15 years. They do get matted, tangled and they shed. However, they do look real. I’ve been sleeping with mine in for 5 days. If you want to avoid the serious tangles you can take them out. I spray mine with conditioner and water everyday twice a day to keep the curls nice and fresh.

Thank you for making a video. I also ordered the hair about 8 months ago and had the same experience. The hair was shedding, tangling, matting, and super dry on top of that. So don’t purchase the hair.

Best clipins is Heritage 1933.. I'm a 4c and I'm in love..been rocking the 4c fro kinks for 3 months.. Only thing they don't have blown out ..so I blow thing out myself hehe

Good actually and worth the money I wear them everyday when I bought mine which was back in may they were $50 for two 16 inches so 100 altogether “fro kinks “since a lot of people have caught on they are $100 a bundle so now $200 .. but they have sales just Labor Day it went down to $75 . But I blow them out , roll set everything
