Worst I've earned I feel were NHL 2K10 and WRC 6 and Agents of Mayhem all for the same thing. Ungoldy grinds - NHL 2K10 - Play 500 games. Even if you play 3 min games it still takes 42 hours minimum just to get this trophy - WRC 6 - Play 1,000 events. Completing campaign may only get you 200 so just grinding the shortest event over and over took weeks and online events don't count which you need to do 50 of those as well. - Agents of Mayhem - What you said, getting all agents to level 20. Think it took me 5 full playthroughs of the campaign. Couldn't have been happier to delete that game from my console.
As I've just become a completionist/trophy hunter in the recent few months, I positively refuse to platinum any game with multiplayer trophies. There's too many games to have potential fun with over spending hundreds of hours on a single multiplayer game.
Rocket League is worth your while. A common misconception with trophy hunters is a few online trophies in a game equals a massive grind. That may of been the case with the PS3 generation but most of you guys don’t bother with PS3 games, you’re playing the new stuff on PS5. Games like Dead by Daylight know they are multiplayer games and thus there is a big grind with that. Many modern games with some online trophies are pretty minor, usually having you play a few matches to getting a few skills. Nothing to write home about. But throwing a blanket statement on all online trophies isn’t the proper approach. I avoid a lot of multiplayer too, but I don’t consider it to be as bad as some people think.
Too bad most of a lot of otherwise great single player games come with tact on multiplayer modes, half of which have their servers shutdown or are abandoned
@@KratostheThirdAvoiding games with multiplayer trophies is the best thing you can do. Because if you for some reason take a break from trophy hunting the game, and just forget about it. The servers will shut down eventually. Then you will be stuck with that game on your trophy list without ever being able to get the platinum or 100%. If the multiplayer trophies are easy and don’t take hours to get, then sure, you shouldn’t avoid the game. Sadly most games with online multiplayer trophies aren’t that way. There are enough games out there without multiplayer trophies that it doesn’t bother me to completely avoid them.
@@OldBenKenobi2318 I did Max Payne 3 mere weeks before the servers shut down. I did Assassin's Creed Brotherhood on the PS3 months before Ubisoft shut down those servers as well. We can argue that yes, some games with multiplayer aren't worth it, because they aren't to our tastes or the games are just bad. I don't know what games you're playing but if you're doing Overwatch or Dead by Daylight, then you are literally playing a multiplayer game. If you're playing Days Gone, there's no multiplayer at all, it's all single player. Please don't try to insult my intelligence.

I’m really proud to have Red Dead Redemption 2’s platinum. It took me about 350 hours. I loved the hunting, story, combat, and attention to detail. The crazy thing is, the game was so amazing that I would re-platinum it again if Rockstar ever released a remaster for it.
@@kieronjohn6334that squirrel it’s glitched but there is a fix to it on RUclips for that Do don’t give up my brother don’t let a squirrel get you down 😅 The game is amazing is totally worth it ! 😇
Usually I have my phone in one hand and my third leg in the other when I have that moment where I ask myself “What possessed me to do this?” But I can certainly remember asking myself the same thing when I decided to platinum Call Of Duty Black Ops, I still have the odd nightmarish flashback to that part of the 3rd campaign mission “SOG” where the enemies just infinitely spawn and the next checkpoint seems light years away.
Dragonsbane in Neverwinter has been softened a lot in recent updates, though. Now, all kinds of dragons count, including the drakes which are far more common than proper dragons. I managed to get this trophy killing drakes for about two hours last year.
@@PlatinumBro Hard to say, I did all the other trophies back in 2018, so I had a long break. Still three digits, but much closer to 100 now. Fair warning for the 100%, there's a few timelocked trophies in the DLCs that take months due to limits on weekly progress in many campaigns.
I've got the platinum for Injustice two and that grind to get Catwoman's Cat fight ability was a nightmare but was happy to see that trophy pop followed by the platinum
Ooh I actually had quite a good amount of these selected, maybe I need better taste lmao. Those predator clips mmmf, another banger video as always Chadinum BRO!
I got the Plat for Injustice 2. There were multiverse events that rewarded you with the unlockable abilities, and I just kept playing those when they showed up until I got Cat Call. Loved this game. Friday the 13th could be lumped in with Predator: Hunting Grounds. It stops being fun real fast when you have to grind 1000 matches as Jason and the counsellors and get X number of kills and repairs. I found a solid group of dudes to complete it with, but it was one of the most tedious platinum experiences I’ve ever had (thus far).
I have Injustice 2! Was so happy when I finally got cat call. Maining Catwoman made it a little more bearable. But some of the hardest ones I've done are Tennis World Tour 2, UFC 2/3/4 (especially 3) and Overwatch.
I have 5 plats on your list and that scares me. 😂 They are: - Uncharted: Golden Abyss - Marvel's Avengers - Neverwinter - Anthem - Returnal Small side note on Neverwinter: since they added a zone with regular dragon mobs, the grind is actually doable. 🙂 Great vid by the way!
@@PlatinumBro haven't really timed it, but the zone is called Well of Dragons (obviously). And there are packs of 3-5 small, 'komodo-like' dragons that count towards the trophy. Since I usually play a healing class in mmo's my dps on these things wasn't too high. So if you have dps class you can probably take them out faster. I had a route across several packs and by the time I was at the end the first ones started respawning. Not having an in game counter did suck though.
Golden Abyss isn’t as bad as what this video states. The bounty grind and a certain boss fight towards the end on Crushing difficulty are the main barriers towards the platinum.
Big tip for Anthem plat, if you start a new character, you don’t have to do the tomb challenges, also all collections reset and if you collect them that you did in your first character, they will still count towards the trophy, which brings tons of hours of grinding down.
Really surprised to see Kingdom Hearts on this list😄 I don't think the trophy for completing the game on the Critical difficulty is the worst trophy in the game. I had a lot of fun earning it but never liked how they handled Critical mode in Birth by Sleep and 3D (player receives 2x damage but deals only 0.5x damage to the enemy). It makes fights take much longer than they should be. Critical in KH2 was a lot more fun (2x damage received but also 1.25x damage dealt). I earned all trophies for KH2 on Critical difficulty and got rewarded with my first platinum . I think Chain of Memories has the platinum trophy I enjoyed the least in the whole franchise. It has a weird card based battle system and some really grindy trophies (collecting every card at least once for Sora and reaching level 99 with both Sora and Riku). The worst part was that the difficulty trophies didn't stack on PS3 (they fixed it for the PS4 release) and I had to 3 playthroughs with Sora and another 3 with Riku 😅 I want to earn the plat for the PS4 versions again just to have every plat in the franchise (except the asian version of KH3). I think it would be a lot of fun but I'm not looking forward to the grind in BbS and CoM 😂 Other terrible trophy lists (but great games 😄): - InFamous 1 for needing to collect all 350 blast shards. There is no way to know which shards you already collected and if you miss one you have to check every single spot again. - Both platinum trophies for Final Fantasy 14 take a long time to complete. Trying to get 100% in the PS5 version takes an insane amount of time. You have to play through a lot of the content they released in the past 10 years. Each patch and expansion adds new trophies and the devs plan to develop more content for at least another 10 years. But that won't stop me from trying to get as many trophies as I can 😅
Guyfarruski is always telling me about how hard kingdom of hearts is which is why it made the list hahaha. Cool that one of the games was your first ever platinum buddy. oh yeah FF14, what a grind
I only have 1 platinum trophy..... Final fantasy 15 and believe me that was no joke, trying to land a flying car on a very short runway to get into a hidden tomb (that had no enemies just puzzles) was bad enough but the adamantoise boss takes a good couple of hours fight and one of the trophies was to photograph Gentria (somet like that) and she only popped up if you fought at night (which is not fun for a start) but you had to defeat a certain enemy and she will come and join the fight...... I thankfully got it by random because I would not want to go hunting for this trophy
I've got the plat. got RDR2 and Valhalla. I've definitely played games with more collectibles and took longer than Valhalla. I have the plats. in Final Fantasy X and X2...definitely a longer grind.
I feel seen for having both RE6 and Returnal. The latter actually took me close to a week of just grinding the last few ciphers. All in all, it was not the worst it was less than 60 hours of playtime, but resetting cycles over and over felt.... eternal. Also honorable mention to the Witcher 3 and its missable Gwent cards... they can piss off.
Nice video bro, got 5 of these: -Red Dead Redemption 2 -Black Ops 3 -Fortnite -GTA V -Lego Star Wars Out of all of these the one I found most tedious was Lego Star Wars simply because I was constantly following a guide, even though it was the shortest one lol
Multiversus is unobtainable now, at least for the original version that came out. It remains to be seen if the trophy list stays the same or changes a bit once it gets re-released.
Dying light when the encounters were glitched was very frustrating to do as it was completely RNG. It eventually got patched but I did it beforehand. TLOU conversations glitched out on me so I had to redo my play through and Overwatch 1 and 2 were pretty challenging. Lastly, I did battlefield 1 at the end of 2023 and there was only 1 SERVER active so that was very difficult to finish as half the time they were on DLC maps and I did not want to spend money on a DLC I didn’t need.
Dying light still has glitchy bozak achievements, they never fixed them and it pains me because I want to get those achievements again on xbox, I did it on steam first
Excellent Video. I have only earned the platinum in Returnal and Marvels Avengers from that list. The gameplay in Returnal was excellent but after finishing all of the other trophies it took me roughly 18 hrs to grind the remaining cyphers. You need to take notes as you play so you know what cyphers you have found and what you still require. I enjoyed the story in Avengers but I fully agree that all of the post game stuff was horrendous. The Hive grind added around 25 hrs on to the platinum time for me although at least I didn’t experience any glitches. I remember a lot of players saying that coop bugged the hive trophy so I just played solo the whole time. Just can’t bring myself to play Red Dead Redemption 2. It seems such an abuse of someone’s time. My longest plat is Death Stranding at around 125 hrs but normally I would try and avoid anything over 100 hrs these days.
Mortal Kombat (2011) has to be on this list. That "My King Fu is stronger" trophy is beyond ridiculous and will take forever. Also the troohy to win 10 straight online matches is going to be almost impossible.
The only one I have from this list is Lego Star Wars, Ride 5 was a 160 hour-ish grind, and with bugs at launch in the endurance races and time trials too ffs 😆
I can't believe you included GTA V's gold medal trophy, but didn't mention a thing about the Criminal Masterminds and the Elites in the Doomsday Heist. That is truly criminal.
I have 4 of these platinums! The worst Lego platinum in my experience was Lego Worlds, no stud multiplier and some RNG as well. My worst platinum is probably Fall Guys. I'm trying Deep Rock Galactic atm and the grind on that is insane.
I have Resident Evil 6 & Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2 Platinum But the Worst Game to Platinum Was The Evil Within , Not Saying the Game is Bad, Its the Trophies that is the Worst. All because of the Dreaded Akumu Mode where Every Enemy 1-hit kills you ,Theres also another one for Beating the Game without Upgrading on Normal & Finishing the Game in Under 5Hrs Its a 9/10 Difficulty, 3 Playthroughs (It took 5 For me), & it would Take 50hrs
Also doing the hard Get There challenge for School 2 on Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1&2 is a nightmare. That one challenge almost made me quit going for the platinum
You can get Cat Call in Injustice 2 from the normal multiverse. I didn't grind it out, it just took a little bit for the ability to appear. You're guaranteed to get the ability with patience.
There's no amount of money in the world you could pay me to complete Just Cause 4 again. Like imagine all the great things they had in the second game, expanded and improved upon in the 3rd, then chucked all that progress out the window to make something so dull and unenjoyable. It's a repetitive grind in such a mediocre game
@@PlatinumBro wouldn't recommend it BUT I would recommend Just Cause 2 (if you have a PS3 laying around) and Just Cause 3 though those games are fantastic, a bit grindy but worth it
@@HandmadeGoose97 idk man, I had fun with all 3 but the one I remember “fondly” as being the biggest pain was 2… It shows even by the time it took me to platinum each; 2 took me 13 days, 3 took 9 & 4 a week 🤷🏽♂
I have the Plats for KH1, 2, and Re:Com. I would love to Plat BBS too. I do actually have the Critical Competitor trophy already! MultiVersus was a grindy Plat! Injustice 2 did make me question what I was doing sometimes. I am glad I earned the Plat slowly over 6 years. Trophies not unlocking correctly was irritating in Marvel's Avengers. The 50 Hive Missions was tedious.
I done black ops3, black ops4 and cold war hated black ops3 the most cause of the campaign having to grind out the camos thankfully I did do realistic with a friend and did a glitch for one of the medals for the training arena, black ops 4 was only really annoying for blackout as you have to unlock characters doing certain objectives when you pick up their items, cold war was decent compared to the other two again only painful trophies was dead ops plus doing the fireteam trophy, it's something I don't want to do again for the ps5 version
Finally, someone talks about Monster Hunter World. I’ve tackled some pretty tough platinums Crash 4, Dark Souls, Arkham City+DLC etc. And while those games were more demanding skill-wise, MHW drained the life out of me. Taking an estimated 500 hours for the base game and DLC. As soon as those platinums popped I immediately uninstalled. Those RNG trophies were the worst.
World i feel got bogged down because unlike rise or games prior you couldn't just jump in as they for some reason added those stupidly tedious bug following mechanic's so it was never in a subset of 3 areas and didn't roam till 5 minutes passed
@@Fencer_Nowa I agree. I think the mechanic is neat at first. But if I have max investigation on a monster, it’s a little strange that I have to still go find 3-4 tracks to get the monster to appear on my map. I feel like if you have max investigation they should always be on your map
Great vid. I've got plans to play rdr2, mhw and returnal. Even if don't get the platinums I still want to experience the games. But will try to platinum we will see lol
Edit: re-considering my answer, out of ~150 platinums I actually have a mere few annoying ones. 1) Tomb Rider 2014: platinum required reaching max MP level, which was done through a boosting session repeating the exact same action for 8+ total hours :( 2) FFVII Crisis Core Reunion: JRPGs are known for their love for grind; platinum required completing all missions which were a boring misery of repetitiveness for 5+ hours. 3) MK I, platinum needs 10-12 hours of EXP grinding by repeating the same action. (Compared to MK9 and MKX this is not too bad by the way)
Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2 has a platinum percentage of 0.1 it’s ridiculously hard the requirements for some of these trophies is insane. I had to give up I only have 6 trophies left to obtain the platinum but there just too difficult most of them require you to pull of insane combos that I just can’t do.
I can't truly decide which platinum was the worst, but I definitely have to say that Crash Bandicoot 4: It's about time and Fall Guys are two of my worst from my collection. Fall Guys is 60% luck and 40% skill, you have to win 5 games in a row, but Crash as the game alone is challenging, you have to pass ALL levels without dying and the platinum time trial relics, oh God have mercy.
The hardest Platinum Trophy in my collection is ironically one of my favorite games of all time, from my favorite series of all time: Yakuza 0 The requirements are insane, and took me well over 200 hours.
I also have a question have you ever played assassin’s creed Mirage because when I played this game, this was the best game I ever played in my life. The story was amazing. I gave the game a 10 out of 10.
I can't speak for what's the worst since it's so subjective but the worst I've ever done was "Mugen Souls" on the PS3. It's an RPG so of course it was going to be on the longer side, not to mention from the early PS3 days when trophy hunting was new and there wasn't as much consideration for it, but the lengths you are required to reach are fairly ludicrous. I'm not going to go into exact details but, essentially, it's a 400+ hour somewhat difficult grind. I think it took me around 450 hours over the course of two months straight of nearly continual play. To give an idea, I was finished with the post game at around 50 hours. The rest of that time was just obtaining these specific kinds of resource drops and just trying to get characters strong enough to survive the harder segments. Throw in some RNG and poor performance (like constant crashes in a game with no auto-saving), it can often feel like you're going nowhere or even losing progress. But I got it, being one of my few sub 1% platinuims. I legitimately don't recall most of the experience due to how mind-numbing it was. Funnily, the game did get a sequel, "Mugen Souls Z", and while it's technically harder...it thankfully doesn't take anywhere near as long despite requiring the same general goals. There's no guide but it's like around-to-under 100 hours in comparison. There are also some other games on my profile that are similar length-wise, "White Knight Chronicles" at 600+ hours and "Star Ocean 4" at 500+ hours, but I just don't have the will to go for them. Between not wanting to go through that kind of time investment again and just not having any interest in actually playing them, I'm fine leaving them incomplete.
of course it's 100% subjective but if you're spending 450 hours on a game, its one hell of a grind, that is bigger grind than anything I have ever done for a platinum. My biggest grind was probably Resi 6 with the DLC ended up taking me around 200 hours ha
Marvel's Avengers was painful, I got it on the "this game is so bad we're shutting down sales" sale. Most of it was easy, if not boring, but certain broken trophies meant grinding all 50 or 100 objectives in one sitting or they reset kinda thing. Red Dead 2 took me over 500 hours but that was mostly just because I loved it to death, it was certainly not painful, but definitely long! Worst was the MP Trophies/Achievs, I actively avoid games with them for the most part.
the next platbro challenge platting all these games lol (except the unattainable one) and i can agree on the vallhalla list as i did it twice.... the cairn challenges still give me nightmares (also with predator was everyone on a alt except you?)
I'm at 141 platinums and I'm not sure if I want to do it for much longer. It definitely ruined some good games for me over the years and it's stressful if I miss a collectable or something and have to do a new playthrough. Or if I use a collectable guide and it kinda spoils a lot of the game
I am surprised to see Valhalla on here; it's certainly understandable that having terrible grinds would land a title on this kind of list, but it didn't seem any worse than the rest that were mentioned. Perhaps more than anything it was just the open world that created a bit of a slog getting from place to place, definitely a distant feel from the Ezio entries for example. I would probably put a rhythm game in its place, like guitar hero or rock band, as they have difficulty skill checks that require actual time to be put into practicing instead of just the grind factor.
@@PlatinumBro It's quite niche, but then the problem would be going through all of them to figure out which list is the worst. I don't think I have even looked through any of the newer entries to both series
I dont have the GTA 5 platinum yet. Im grinding the 100 online levels at the moment. It's all i have left to do, and once I've done it, that will be my worst and best platinum trophy.
GTA 5 really? I loved that Platinum personally. It's one game where I enjoyed going for collectibles as I was just immersed in that world. While the Online Trophies are a pain, I was fortunate enough to play during a time where there was triple RP
I really enjoyed platting GTA 5 3 times. Online is amazing for me so i had no problem getting way past level 100. No annoying trophies since you dont have to gold medal all missions. Best game of all time. Maybe only GTA 6 could beat it
I enjoyed GTA V for most of my platinum run, however doing the 70 gold medals on ps4 was really annoying since every fail meant 2 minutes of loading screen
Only have Returnal out of these. Would have Lego Skywalker too, but it's bugged as Steadfast, one of the ship levels with a collectible on won't spawn for me 😢
I've got the Resident Evil 6 Platinum on PS4, I actually liked it, it was my first Resident Evil game when I first bought it on PS3, and yeah eventually I completed the platinum on PS4.
Personally I’m adding Hogwarts Legacy to the list. Having to do 100% of the map + 4 tutorials really had me going like “what am I doing with my life”. Also in my list, Alien Isolation, cause deathless runs are always a SIN! And finally, a Yakuza game should be on the list. I haven’t platinumed the entire series, but I bet Yakuza 3 might have the cake of “most life waster Yakuza game”.
28:54 Do it in offline mode. I've seen next to noone say this but I tried it. I spent about 30hours online looking. Tried offline and got everything I needed within 4 hours. I probably only took me that long as I was leveling up guns n stuff to use in the dlc. If you was just running through levels offline, looking for collectibles it'd be a lot quicker.
Out of the ones i mentioned only RE6. I've done 100% which of course adds the 40 hour online grind and even though at first i wanted to play this in coop my friend said the game was too shit and he's gonna have to give up (I agree but i braved through it alone for whatever reason)@@PlatinumBro
No EDF game makes me sadge. The amount of grinding you need per class to even attempt inferno difficulties safely is ungodly bad like you need 15x the armour you get the trophy for reaching to even start thinking ontop of Random weapon drops you need and 1000s of enemies killed or completion across every character on every difficulty. Absolutely ungodly undertaking.
I have all 3 GTAV platinums and I had no problems. The online trophies autopop when transferring online character from PS3 to 4 and then to ps5. The first person trophy also popped. Not sure if the whole game autopops when transferring single player save as I didn’t do that.
The worst ones I have are Crash 4, DMCV, THPS 1+2, RDR2, The Witcher 3 and RE6... Maybe I should forget the idea of getting the platinum for Anthem for my own sake lol
I forgot to add more to the reply I made. Yes, LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga is long and boring, especially if you mute the audio and skip the cutscenes. However, if you have never seen a Star Wars movie before, it's a treat to go through the story levels with full voice acting, which wasn't present in previous LEGO Star Wars titles. It might even make you want to platinum the previous LEGO Star Wars titles, which have been ported to PS4 by the Classics menu.
Great video - some games I'll make sure to avoid! The collectibles in Returnal can be forgiven as the game is brilliant. You can add Dying Light 2 to your list. I've not played it but seen comments on the ultramarathon trophy being many hours of grinding after completing the game. Main reason I'll never play it.
I already have 70 % in Odissey and Valhalla. I nearly have all collectibles in Valhalla...Goal is to plat AC Origin, Odissey and Valhalla. 😅 Ki have the plat for KH3, 2 play rounds. I didn't wanted to grind for a better gummi ship, so the last space boss fight took me 1 1/5 hours. Yep, all the time shooting and moving in circles. When I think about it I still feel the pain in my thumb.
The only reason I managed to get through Valhalla was because I had a friend on party every day while we both did collectibles and story simultaneously 😂
I own the Birth by Sleep Platinum Trophy (and every KH Trophy before this) All i can say: Square hates Trophy Hunter. Play ReChain of Memories to platinum and thinking "why is there a trophy that need both characters at lv 99, even for the fact that on higher difficulty, you beat the Game on 60-70(with grinding). Making the way to 99 just useless. My worst Platinum was Warriors All Stars. A Musou Game, with alot of different characters that comes from different Games. The whole reason i want to play this Game was to play with Opoona, a round Small Alien guy that had his one Game on Wii. What's sad about it? It's the one character you can only play, if you beat EVERY single Story Part the Game has to offer. Easy? Not really, because even for the fact that the game gives you an Option to check, which Story part can be triggered, the implementation is a mess. If you need a guide, to understand how the ingame Guide works, then the whole guide is useless. (the moment i understand it, i didn't need it anymore. tl:tr More grind then fun. Just to see the Platinum at the end... (which to be fair, feels still great, with an 0,7% rarity, but who cares at the end? xD )
Have the RDR2 platinum, but the Zoologist or Skin Deep trophies did not bug me really. The MP trophies did. Also have the AC Valhalla platinum, 100% actually, for PS4. Will do the PS5 version too ... someday. Another awful platinum is Mafia 3, since the counter for certain trophies is bugged. It resets when you restart the game or it crashes. So if you are nearing the end of the game, need to flip one more informant, and it crashes, good luck ... you have to start all over again. It was a painful experience that took me 4 tries after crashing at various points. Setting the game to sleep mode, play a bit, sleep mode again, etc, got me through it in the end. Horrid.
Amazing video chad! My worst plat is definitely Wolfenstein Youngblood which I got last year. I love the Wolfenstein games definitely in my 10 favourite game series. I knew Youngblood wasn't that great which yeah it definitely is not a good game but getting the platinum was so Grindy, Boring, Repetitive and would highly recommend not playing it and going for the platinum because it'll be a waste of your time I have the plat for injustice 2, GTA 5 & Cod BO3 they're definitely not good platinums but the games themselves are fun to play! Also! Why did Guyfarruski not talk about DMC5?!?!?!
Xenoverse 1: It has like 5 layers of RNG. First: missions have hidden objectives to unlock more and even if you complete them, it's rng whether it continues. Second: after that it's rng whether you get any drops Third: the rng to get what you need is absolutely abysmal Fourth: you have to collect dragonballs to make wishes. Well, it's rng whether they even show up Fifth: pray to RNGesus that the dragonball isn't the dame one you already have.
All I have left in Shenmue 3 are the Collectible Herbs; and it is the absolute worst part. I didn't mind too much about the other Trophies as you can plan it out and save scum certain parts and money glitch, and token farm etc.. Reload and what not, but the 400 Herbs is unforgivable, as it's like Rockstar's Bully, in the sense that you have to go to bed at 9PM, which is just absolute horror, not to mention the slow walking and having to constantly eat food in order to be able run - these are the worst parts of it, and there is no map for the Collectibles - it is such a horrible slog of a grind alone, in and of itself. Herbs are all I need for the Platinum, and it's too painful to do.
I'm surprised i didn't see any yakuza game but shanmue because some of the yakuza completion list are harder at least for me then marvel i didn't know why i platinumed thet😂 but nice video bro👍
Succubus with Guns is the worst platinum I've ever gotten. It's really short and easy but the game is so terrible and broken that I litterally had to force myself to play it.
Would say the worst for me was Whitetail Challenge (PS3), aside from having abysmal and RNG heavy gameplay its the only game that's ever made me physically motion sick due to the FOV Resident Evil Operation Racoon City and Aliens Colonial Marines are also up there
I did Monster Hunter World a couple of years back and it took me about 350 hours, but… Monster Hunter Rise is twice as hard and tedious, I started, but I don’t think I’ll ever go back to it because it was far too much 😭
What is the worst platinum trophy you have ever earned and why?
Also if this video gets 1,000 likes I will make another video like it :)
'Having a cheeky tug' is THE last thing I thought I'd hear in a plat video 😂 I nearly choked on my digestive biccy 😂😂
Worst I've earned I feel were NHL 2K10 and WRC 6 and Agents of Mayhem all for the same thing. Ungoldy grinds
- NHL 2K10 - Play 500 games. Even if you play 3 min games it still takes 42 hours minimum just to get this trophy
- WRC 6 - Play 1,000 events.
Black ops 3’s Personal Decorator trophy. That one is absolute hell
Destiny 2
Black ops 3 wasent that bad compared to black ops 4
As I've just become a completionist/trophy hunter in the recent few months, I positively refuse to platinum any game with multiplayer trophies. There's too many games to have potential fun with over spending hundreds of hours on a single multiplayer game.
welcome dude, good idea

The crazy thing is, the game was so amazing that I would re-platinum it again if Rockstar ever released a remaster for it.
well done Josh. You're a stronger man than me haha
I'm almost done , I gave it a rest about two years ago lol, couldn't find a squirrel and I was already burnt out
@@kieronjohn6334that squirrel it’s glitched but there is a fix to it on RUclips for that
Do don’t give up my brother don’t let a squirrel get you down 😅
The game is amazing is totally worth it ! 😇
@@pellaria8012the game is 6 years old moron, 350h is not that long.
Nice congratulations! I’m proud to say I have the MGS4 platinum. God only knows how long it took me to get it lol
Usually I have my phone in one hand and my third leg in the other when I have that moment where I ask myself “What possessed me to do this?”
But I can certainly remember asking myself the same thing when I decided to platinum Call Of Duty Black Ops, I still have the odd nightmarish flashback to that part of the 3rd campaign mission “SOG” where the enemies just infinitely spawn and the next checkpoint seems light years away.
I can relate to such thoughts
Farruski was such a champ spending so much time play testing Neverwinter for us 💪
such a giga chad
Yep what a legend, the face on Emma though pains to think what have I married haha
Dragonsbane in Neverwinter has been softened a lot in recent updates, though. Now, all kinds of dragons count, including the drakes which are far more common than proper dragons. I managed to get this trophy killing drakes for about two hours last year.
oh happy to hear it! how long do you think the plat will take now?
@@PlatinumBro Hard to say, I did all the other trophies back in 2018, so I had a long break. Still three digits, but much closer to 100 now.
Fair warning for the 100%, there's a few timelocked trophies in the DLCs that take months due to limits on weekly progress in many campaigns.
I've got the platinum for Injustice two and that grind to get Catwoman's Cat fight ability was a nightmare but was happy to see that trophy pop followed by the platinum
well done!
Ooh I actually had quite a good amount of these selected, maybe I need better taste lmao.
Those predator clips mmmf, another banger video as always Chadinum BRO!
I think you do.
Hahaha ikr! I’ve got a good amount of funny footage for when I finally get around to finishing the grind for that game
Well done dude!
I have 5 plats on your list and that scares me. 😂
They are:
- Uncharted: Golden Abyss
- Marvel's Avengers
- Neverwinter
- Anthem
- Returnal
Small side note on Neverwinter: since they added a zone with regular dragon mobs, the grind is actually doable. 🙂
Great vid by the way!
Well done, how long would you say the grind is now? I’m tempted
Solid tips I wish I knew hahaha
I got the Platinum in about 60 hours, I was fine with it.
The worst part was that the difficulty trophies didn't stack on PS3 (they fixed it for the PS4 release) and I had to 3 playthroughs with Sora and another 3 with Riku 😅
I want to earn the plat for the PS4 versions again just to have every plat in the franchise (except the asian version of KH3). I think it would be a lot of fun but I'm not looking forward to the grind in BbS and CoM 😂
Other terrible trophy lists (but great games 😄):
- InFamous 1 for needing to collect all 350 blast shards.
I have Valhalla. I didn’t find it hard or tedious as I just enjoyed playing it lol. I have about over 200 hours
I thankfully got it by random because I would not want to go hunting for this trophy
nice man! i did that back on the xbox, the giant turtle! took like an hour!
@@PlatinumBro I'm very proud of it...... And yeah the mountain was hard but after Yiazmat it was easier than it could have been
I've got the plat. got RDR2 and Valhalla.
Collectibles like are just so vile. Oh yeah Witcher 3 forgot about the gwent cards 😷
Nice video bro, got 5 of these:
-Red Dead Redemption 2
-Black Ops 3
-Fortnite
-GTA V
-Lego Star Wars
Out of all of these the one I found most tedious was Lego Star Wars simply because I was constantly following a guide, even though it was the shortest one lol
Thanks man and well done lad
The hardest platnuims i have would be a toss between ff7r and dark cloud 2 both were ass tbh dark cloud 2 took over 200 hrs
Multiversus is unobtainable now, at least for the original version that came out. It remains to be seen if the trophy list stays the same or changes a bit once it gets re-released.
Is it? Oh no way
Dying light when the encounters were glitched was very frustrating to do as it was completely RNG.
Thanks Goopy :)
18 hours of grinding is so rough, well done. yeah I feel the same about RDR2 buddy
Mortal Kombat (2011) has to be on this list. That "My King Fu is stronger" trophy is beyond ridiculous and will take forever. Also the troohy to win 10 straight online matches is going to be almost impossible.
Did it on both systems. Wasn't that bad. Can leave ur system on for the time requirements
The only one I have from this list is Lego Star Wars, Ride 5 was a 160 hour-ish grind, and with bugs at launch in the endurance races and time trials too ffs 😆
Driving games can be such a grind fest man, well done though
Fortnite’s ‘Play 1000 games with others’ trophy was pure Aids.
100% horrid
I can't believe you included GTA V's gold medal trophy, but didn't mention a thing about the Criminal Masterminds and the Elites in the Doomsday Heist.
That is truly criminal.
hahaha i'm loco
I have 4 of these platinums! The worst Lego platinum in my experience was Lego Worlds, no stud multiplier and some RNG as well. My worst platinum is probably Fall Guys. I'm trying Deep Rock Galactic atm and the grind on that is insane.
Oh wow, that sounds even worse than the skywalker saga. Well done
I have Resident Evil 6 & Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2 Platinum
But the Worst Game to Platinum Was The Evil Within , Not Saying the Game is Bad, Its the Trophies that is the Worst.
All because of the Dreaded Akumu Mode where Every Enemy 1-hit kills you ,Theres also another one for Beating the Game without Upgrading on Normal & Finishing the Game in Under 5Hrs
Its a 9/10 Difficulty, 3 Playthroughs (It took 5 For me), & it would Take 50hrs
Oh man well done. That game is on my other list video
Great video again mate, we had a nice result against the scum last weekend man. Unlucky against city, onto villa man
Thanks buddy! it's been a bit rough for us lately ha
@PlatinumBro your not wrong mate, not feeling good about villa either tbf. Wish we could fast forward to next season 🤣 🤣
Also doing the hard Get There challenge for School 2 on Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1&2 is a nightmare. That one challenge almost made me quit going for the platinum
I have no doubt well done for pushing through
@PlatinumBro Thank you. I respect those who push through, but I also respect those who walk away from a tough platinum
I’ve only got personal decorator left for BO3 & believe me it’s a grind you need 650 kills per weapon equalling to about 18,000 for all guns
You can get Cat Call in Injustice 2 from the normal multiverse. I didn't grind it out, it just took a little bit for the ability to appear. You're guaranteed to get the ability with patience.
Oh happy days
There's no amount of money in the world you could pay me to complete Just Cause 4 again. Like imagine all the great things they had in the second game, expanded and improved upon in the 3rd, then chucked all that progress out the window to make something so dull and unenjoyable. It's a repetitive grind in such a mediocre game
Okay I might not play that game this year like I had planned hahaha
@@PlatinumBro wouldn't recommend it BUT I would recommend Just Cause 2 (if you have a PS3 laying around) and Just Cause 3 though those games are fantastic, a bit grindy but worth it
@@HandmadeGoose97 just cause 2 grind was the worst of the 3 😂
@@shinyagami8843 2 IS a grind but the big difference is that it's still a much funner and better game then 4 is
@@HandmadeGoose97 idk man, I had fun with all 3 but the one I remember “fondly” as being the biggest pain was 2…
It shows even by the time it took me to platinum each; 2 took me 13 days, 3 took 9 & 4 a week 🤷🏽♂
Nice, sounds like you've actually enjoyed some of the plats on this list. Mad lad.
Thanks@@PlatinumBro
Started Valhalla last night 😢 hopefully mini sessions on the portal over a few months will make the grind less irritating
Good luck buddy
I done black ops3, black ops4 and cold war hated black ops3 the most cause of the campaign having to grind out the camos thankfully I did do realistic with a friend and did a glitch for one of the medals for the training arena, black ops 4 was only really annoying for blackout as you have to unlock characters doing certain objectives when you pick up their items, cold war was decent compared to the other two again only painful trophies was dead ops plus doing the fireteam trophy, it's something I don't want to do again for the ps5 version
Holy moly well done man
@PlatinumBro thank you don't recommend cod for plats if its treyarch they are known to make it hard
Btw, there was a content update for Diablo 2: resurrected that cuts down the platinum time to maybe 300 hours.
Ahhhh thanks for letting us know
Finally, someone talks about Monster Hunter World. Those RNG trophies were the worst.
hahahah Guyfarruski and Vaultboysteve complain about it to me daily
World i feel got bogged down because unlike rise or games prior you couldn't just jump in as they for some reason added those stupidly tedious bug following mechanic's so it was never in a subset of 3 areas and didn't roam till 5 minutes passed
@@Fencer_Nowa I agree. I think the mechanic is neat at first. But if I have max investigation on a monster, it’s a little strange that I have to still go find 3-4 tracks to get the monster to appear on my map. I feel like if you have max investigation they should always be on your map
Predator Hunting Grounds is my favourite and proudest platinum. Especially when you get over the learning curve, and can play as the Predator properly
well done man!
Surprised Crash Bandicoot 4 isn't on here
I think it’s on my other list video and I try not to repeat games :)
Great vid. I've got plans to play rdr2, mhw and returnal. Even if don't get the platinums I still want to experience the games. But will try to platinum we will see lol
Thanks Luke! Good luck with them I wouldn’t recommend doing them one after another for your sanity
Edit: re-considering my answer, out of ~150 platinums I actually have a mere few annoying ones.
1) Tomb Rider 2014: platinum required reaching max MP level, which was done through a boosting session repeating the exact same action for 8+ total hours :(
2) FFVII Crisis Core Reunion: JRPGs are known for their love for grind; platinum required completing all missions which were a boring misery of repetitiveness for 5+ hours.
3) MK I, platinum needs 10-12 hours of EXP grinding by repeating the same action. (Compared to MK9 and MKX this is not too bad by the way)
Sounds like you’ve been smart with your platinums
Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2 has a platinum percentage of 0.1 it’s ridiculously hard the requirements for some of these trophies is insane. I had to give up I only have 6 trophies left to obtain the platinum but there just too difficult most of them require you to pull of insane combos that I just can’t do.
i agree it's loco
I can't truly decide which platinum was the worst, but I definitely have to say that Crash Bandicoot 4: It's about time and Fall Guys are two of my worst from my collection. Fall Guys is 60% luck and 40% skill, you have to win 5 games in a row, but Crash as the game alone is challenging, you have to pass ALL levels without dying and the platinum time trial relics, oh God have mercy.
Both big difficult games tbf
The hardest Platinum Trophy in my collection is ironically one of my favorite games of all time, from my favorite series of all time: Yakuza 0
The requirements are insane, and took me well over 200 hours.
that's awesome man :)
Golden abyss was fricking annoying, especially the part where you were running away in cinematic mode. It took me a full hour of dying constantly
Exactly! So annoying

I also have a question have you ever played assassin’s creed Mirage because when I played this game, this was the best game I ever played in my life. The story was amazing. I gave the game a 10 out of 10.
I'm about to platnuim mirage and man makes me want to go back and complete the ezio trilogy
Honestly man, me too as soon as I played the Ezio trilogy and other assassin’s Creed games I was like nah
@@bhumbyrd same I have tried the rpg ones not my cup of tea
Nice vid bro I have 4 of the worst plats (Valhalla, GTA5, RDR2, Fortnite) and working on one (Predator Hunting Grounds) 😳
Well done. I’m working on predator too. It’s a nightmare right?
@@PlatinumBro For sure it’s a very repetitive grind, only way to make it easier is by putting on some Platinum Bro in the background
Really thought you were going to go for Chain of Memories with KH. Worst level grind I’ve ever done
Hahaha I had to ask a friend which he thought was the worst for this one I don’t know enough about the series
Hahaha that’s always a warning when it’s in that kind of sale
Apparently I ignore red flags haha@@PlatinumBro
Managed to get Skywalker Saga in around 80 hours although it was extremely tedious. Lego 2k drive was one I couldn’t bring myself to complete.

that would probably take me 10 years hahaha
yeah they were on alts ha
I'm at 141 platinums and I'm not sure if I want to do it for much longer. It definitely ruined some good games for me over the years and it's stressful if I miss a collectable or something and have to do a new playthrough. Or if I use a collectable guide and it kinda spoils a lot of the game
It's even more painful using a collectibles guide and still missing something 😢
Well don’t use a collectible guide until you have already beaten the game then
proud to have injustice 1 and 2 platinums done.. both games combined took me just over 310 hours

So many of these are started on my list. I'm never getting a high completion % am I? (Great video!!)
hahah completion percentage is overrated don't worry and thanks
@@PlatinumBro try PC building simulator. Lots of juicy grindy ultra rares there.
I was gonna put guitar hero on but I actually just forgot haha
@@PlatinumBro It's quite niche, but then the problem would be going through all of them to figure out which list is the worst. I don't think I have even looked through any of the newer entries to both series
I dont have the GTA 5 platinum yet. Im grinding the 100 online levels at the moment. It's all i have left to do, and once I've done it, that will be my worst and best platinum trophy.
Totally agree with you.
If I have to play a game 4-5 times ,WTH.
At the same time, the game is fluid, and chalanging .hats off.
happy to hear it man
I’m working on my first PS3 platinum since I just got me a PS3 I was thinking about doing Valhalla butt It’s really a time commitment
I wouldn’t recommend it ha
GTA 5 really? I loved that Platinum personally. It's one game where I enjoyed going for collectibles as I was just immersed in that world. While the Online Trophies are a pain, I was fortunate enough to play during a time where there was triple RP
that's great buddy! I wouldn't say its the general opinion of the plat though hahaha
@@PlatinumBro I genuinely thought that a lot of people actually enjoyed it, I clearly was wrong 😅
Would have Lego Skywalker too, but it's bugged as Steadfast, one of the ship levels with a collectible on won't spawn for me 😢
it bugged? ouch man I feel for ya
I've got the Resident Evil 6 Platinum on PS4, I actually liked it, it was my first Resident Evil game when I first bought it on PS3, and yeah eventually I completed the platinum on PS4.
I’m glad some people found it fun. That’s gaming for ya
I've only got the Lego Star Wars out of all of these. The final 20 hours or so were torture.
I bet man ha
Personally I’m adding Hogwarts Legacy to the list. Having to do 100% of the map + 4 tutorials really had me going like “what am I doing with my life”.
Also in my list, Alien Isolation, cause deathless runs are always a SIN!
And finally, a Yakuza game should be on the list. I haven’t platinumed the entire series, but I bet Yakuza 3 might have the cake of “most life waster Yakuza game”.
very valid point thats why I stopped playing it ha
28:54 Do it in offline mode. I've seen next to noone say this but I tried it. I spent about 30hours online looking. Tried offline and got everything I needed within 4 hours. I probably only took me that long as I was leveling up guns n stuff to use in the dlc. If you was just running through levels offline, looking for collectibles it'd be a lot quicker.
got GTAV, RE6 and MGS4 out of these. Plenty awful personal plats i would put above some of the ones in this video
Well done, any regrets?
There was one! Most do not have guides for them which is why I chose the one I did ha
I have all 3 GTAV platinums and I had no problems.
The online trophies autopop when transferring online character from PS3 to 4 and then to ps5.
The first person trophy also popped.
Not sure if the whole game autopops when transferring single player save as I didn’t do that.
well done bro :D
I typically go for all Rockstar game platinums, so far I’ve got - Red Dead Redemption, Red Dead 2, GTA San Andreas, Vice city, GTA 5, Bully
well done lad!
Thanks man! Yeah I’ve seen loads of bad things about the dying light 2 plat which is a shame because I loved the first one
I have the platinum for GTA V and BO3 and Just Cause 3, I’d say those were my grindiest
well done man, you've earned a rest from the grind
I already have 70 % in Odissey and Valhalla. I nearly have all collectibles in Valhalla...Goal is to plat AC Origin, Odissey and Valhalla. 😅
Ki have the plat for KH3, 2 play rounds. I didn't wanted to grind for a better gummi ship, so the last space boss fight took me 1 1/5 hours. Yep, all the time shooting and moving in circles. When I think about it I still feel the pain in my thumb.
The only reason I managed to get through Valhalla was because I had a friend on party every day while we both did collectibles and story simultaneously 😂
hahahah what a noble friend
I own the Birth by Sleep Platinum Trophy (and every KH Trophy before this)
All i can say: Square hates Trophy Hunter.
Horrid.
yeah i;ve heard horror stories about mafia 3 tbf
My worst platinum was Friday the 13th. Took me 450 hours to Get the platinum
Well done such a grind
Amazing video chad!
My worst plat is definitely Wolfenstein Youngblood which I got last year. I love the Wolfenstein games definitely in my 10 favourite game series. I knew Youngblood wasn't that great which yeah it definitely is not a good game but getting the platinum was so Grindy, Boring, Repetitive and would highly recommend not playing it and going for the platinum because it'll be a waste of your time
I have the plat for injustice 2, GTA 5 & Cod BO3 they're definitely not good platinums but the games themselves are fun to play!
Also! Why did Guyfarruski not talk about DMC5?!?!?!
Thanks buddy! Hahaha he talked about it in the previous one. I banned him from talking about it this time. He refused many time s
@@PlatinumBro that's fair! 🤣
I love my cod ghost platinum! One of my favorites games all time
well done man!
I have the thps1+2 one and recently I got hotline miami (i grinded with A+ chapters but you should try it, i loved that game, maybe u might as well)😮
Nice! I played hotline Miami and got the plat last year, I found it very annoying ha
@@PlatinumBro I was annoyed when I was not able to pass chapter 10, then everything went flawlessly somehow
Xenoverse 1: It has like 5 layers of RNG. First: missions have hidden objectives to unlock more and even if you complete them, it's rng whether it continues.
Second: after that it's rng whether you get any drops
Third: the rng to get what you need is absolutely abysmal
Fourth: you have to collect dragonballs to make wishes. Well, it's rng whether they even show up
Fifth: pray to RNGesus that the dragonball isn't the dame one you already have.
Sounds awful tbf man
I hope when sony releases a new psp in the future they add the ability to get trophies
Would be so much fun
me too it would be great
My worst Platinum Trophy was Wipeout HD. This Platinum Trophy was pure Nightmare 😵💫
well done man!
Sounds horrific, what a shame for such a beautiful game
I'm surprised i didn't see any yakuza game but shanmue because some of the yakuza completion list are harder at least for me then marvel i didn't know why i platinumed thet😂 but nice video bro👍
I considered them but just forgot tbf hahaha
I have GTAV, BO3, and RDR2. Currently grinding The Crew before the servers shutdown and that grind sucks ass.
I could list all the games I've done that were grindy or annoying but then I'd be writing a long ass paragraph 😅
God speed bro
Listening to all these platinums made my depression worse....
You’re welcome x
Succubus with Guns is the worst platinum I've ever gotten. It's really short and easy but the game is so terrible and broken that I litterally had to force myself to play it.
yeah doesn't sound great haha
Would say the worst for me was Whitetail Challenge (PS3), aside from having abysmal and RNG heavy gameplay its the only game that's ever made me physically motion sick due to the FOV
Resident Evil Operation Racoon City and Aliens Colonial Marines are also up there
Well that sounds absolutely horrendous haha.
Both of those games are just awful so I don’t blame you for hating them
I have rd2 and injustice 2 plats but I’ve also quit going for plats I just play to enjoy now
I would probably quit if I had to do those plats too tbf haha
I want some words with the CEO of RNG collectibles
Hahahaha he’s not the only one I wanna speak to
Returnal is one of the best game on ps5. The collectibles are a bit too much but still doable.
Happy to hear you think so :)
I did Monster Hunter World a couple of years back and it took me about 350 hours, but… Monster Hunter Rise is twice as hard and tedious, I started, but I don’t think I’ll ever go back to it because it was far too much 😭
well done last, Rise is twice as hard? no way I wanted to do that platinum this year ha
@@PlatinumBro you have to kill 1000 large monsters and the RNG for the crowns in slightly worse ☹️
