I would have thought the people going in the store would be descent enough to offer you a meal. It is so sad to see that many of us in this country are takers and not givers. It breaks my heart.💯💯
We need more people like this. I've been homeless for almost 7 months living in my Tahoe and not one person has offered to help me and my wife. It's really sad how many people just walk by or call the cops. I still have faith we can change. I know there's people that are kind like you brother. Keep it up and God Bless you.

Homeless got a bad name from drug addicts and other street crims. So I think most normal people feel scared when there are approached by a homeless man. Let me tell you now I’ve been there and I’ve seen the most generous acts where by the homeless 😢
We're a family of 5 living on the streets about to get in housing next week my self the wife and kids all flyed signs asking for help. And let me tell you. You hear some really hurtful things as if it's not embarrassing an degrading enough to go through. Some people you have to wonder about. Thanks man for showing this to the world man

I myself walked into a store a coffee shop seen unhoused just sitting an often bought a coffee or pop an treat to eat it don’t have to cost a lot to buy a treat for those who don’t have!! I have friends across canada. Feeding offering treats to unhoused !! Watching this videos it dispicable how those who don’t have are treated!!! Thanks cjay for all you do buddy!!! Keep rocking !! I pay attention to my surroundings all the time and I feed people and the little stray animals that I see and will never deny food or ignore someone who is in need!!!

I don't usually give money to people asking for money but stand there and ask for something to eat is different. My dad and I were approached buy a couple once asking for food. Their car supposedly broke down and they were out of town they said it took the little bit of money they had to get it fixed but was hungry. We were out side the hardware store. I didn't have any money on me but my bills were paid. So I talked to my dad for a minute he said ya we well help. But we're not giving them money. So we told them to meet us across the street at the subway. There followed me in. Told them to go ahead and order. They only ordered 1 foot long, I asked to the husband if he was going to order and he said no that they would share that 1 sandwich. So I told him to order another 1foot long so they both could fill up while they waited for there car. The subway employee asked if I needed anything and said no. He asked the other to if that was all and they said no were are appreciative of what they got. I then told the employee that ya, he needed to make both there sandwiches combos. They both turned and looked at me. I said u need something to wash that sandwich down. He gave them some cups told them to choose there chips and I paid. Told them good luck and they were thanking me as I was leaving. Got in the truck and told my dad I went over what he told me to spend and that I would pay him the difference at paid day. He said did they thank you? Yep many times. He then said don't worry about the paper you can't take it with you, and if u can use it to help some one in real need then it is worth it.
This hurts my heart so bad! People are cruel, they don't care about anyone but themselves. When I see homeless people I ask them to come into store choose food, drinks, a snack for later & cigarettes if they smoke. I can not stand greedy people! God bless you for what you are doing! This is nuts. I remember a few years back when I was accidentally homeless in Dallas, TX for a week. I wasn't even asking for anything. I never asked anyone for anything while I was there. People just walked up to me. I lost my phone one night at 2 am, and I was hanging outside a Walgreens because it was the only place that was open that allowed me to use their phone. Several people walked up to me and handed me money without even asking if I needed it. I was sleeping in a drainage culvert. I'd spend my days hanging out at one of 3 gas stations. One of them had a subway and an employee asked if I wanted anything. I told them I couldn't pay and they told me, pick what you want, it's on me. I was hanging outside a CVS, just trying to get some shade from the sun. This woman went in with her child. I thought nothing of it. Next thing I knew, they came out to leave and handed me a bag with snacks and drinks on their way out. The last day I was there, I was laying down in the grass outside of a RaceTrac gas station, the station I spent most of my time at, given it was right next to where I spent my nights. This guy came up to me and asked me about my situation. He took me in and bought me a large cup that had good refill prices, then took me down the road to his church for a shower, and gave me some clothes from their clothes drive. Tbh, it was such a humbling experience, and also it showed me so much about how much good there is still in this world. I had other homeless guys I met on the streets there. They were addicted to drugs, I'm not gonna lie. One of them scared me, the first night I saw him he was walking around punching the air talking to himself. But that same one that scared me that night, he was the one to tell me days later that "I" needed to get off the streets. Idk what he saw in me, or what he had been through that led him to say it, but for him to tell me that "I" needed to get off the streets was such an eye opener

My Brother always looked down on the homeless people and ridiculed me for reaching out in supporting them. One day his luck ran out of being a millionaire and now having the tables turn on him I can only hope he expanded his heart in empathy 🙏

My son and l are always helping others...that's the way l raised him....that if we can we must share our on our blessings. You see l was once homeless as a teenage girl and l panhandle and never forgot those who helped me and always helped others after that and still do. My dad and I gave some food to a homeless person in Phoenix, Arizona after a Diamondbacks game sometime in August. It was near a Circle K I believe. He only wanted a drink, but my dad and I got him a hot dog as well. He was so nice to us as well. That's what we do, cause my family is Christian. We like to help people in dier need.
It is better to give than to receive! I'm so thankful that you're a giver, we need more in the world, we have way too many takers!! But Jesus watches everything we do, so let's just try to do right because he has done so much for us we can never repay him. God bless you and your family

This made me cry. I am badly in debt and working just to feed myself but it would never stop me from giving to someone who needed it even if I had to go without. I taught my Daughter to do exactly the same. I've gone without a meal to give to someone else but to me it's just a meal. To a homeless person it's a lifeline.

this man was me many times over about 3/4 of my life was this story when i saw this it brought me back to this place and im on my knees crying right now!
It's amazing how people will give their poverty but rich people won't share their riches. That's because of sin and greed. I was actually asked for food once by a homeless man at Walmart and actually told him to wait there and I'll go get him something. So I go get a sub sandwich, chips, snacks, and a drink but when I got out there he was no where to be found. Even drove around to try and find him but he left, but I did manage to find another homeless man to donate it too and he was so happy! 🥰
This made me cry,Everytime I see someone that out there with a sign saying need help anything will help or need money for food ECT...I give if I have it.i have gone and bought food for ppl and brought it back to them and they are so happy and greatful.it takes nothing to be kind to someone.

I feel so bad.. I’d buy him food tbh because I feel really bad for homeless people having no shelter and are starving constantly. And the fact that people just would take from a homeless person is beyond horrible. People need to do more about this. I honestly can’t express in words how bad I feel about the homeless and how much I would help. Watching them suffer is not okay. Serve what’s right for them.

This made me cry. I am badly in debt and working just to feed myself but it would never stop me from giving to someone who needed it even if I had to go without. I taught my Daughter to do exactly the same. I've gone without a meal to give to someone else but to me it's just a meal. To a homeless person it's a lifeline.

Sad that people won’t even offer food. Different when someone begs for money but a human that is our brother or sister asking for food is a whole other ball game. It's amazing how people will give their poverty but rich people won't share their riches. That's because of sin and greed. I was actually asked for food once by a homeless man at Walmart and actually told him to wait there and I'll go get him something. So I go get a sub sandwich, chips, snacks, and a drink but when I got out there he was no where to be found. Even drove around to try and find him but he left, but I did manage to find another homeless man to donate it too and he was so happy! 🥰

This made me cry,Everytime I see someone that out there with a sign saying need help anything will help or need money for food ECT...I give if I have it.i have gone and bought food for ppl and brought it back to them and they are so happy and greatful.it takes nothing to be kind to someone.

I feel so bad.. I’d buy him food tbh because I feel really bad for homeless people having no shelter and are starving constantly. And the fact that people just would take from a homeless person is beyond horrible. People need to do more about this. I honestly can’t express in words how bad I feel about the homeless and how much I would help. Watching them suffer is not okay. Serve what’s right for them.
