There are MANY things wrong with this scenario:
    1. Gustavus Adolphus not falling from his horse is impossible to happen. Even if he were to survive, Sweden wouldn't defeat Poland, as both countries are now in NATO.
    2. After the French revolutions, it's impossible for somebody competent to rise to power. The French favoured a system not based on skill, but on social status. France also conquering Europe and then losing is impossible.
    3. The events of the 20th century puzzle me the most. Why would Germany lose the First World War? This is impossible to happen. Why would an untranationalist state and a communist state work together? This is insane and I don't know how you could come up with such idea...
    4. Finally, the most unrealistic part is the partitions of Poland... You know that Poland can simply refuse and in turn Russia, Prusisa, and Austria would back down and respect Poland's decision, right?
Not your most realistic work, sorry.

Everything seemed realistic up to the Cossack rebellion. I mean, c'mon, the polish government and institutions are way too stable for there to be a rebellion. What would more likely happen is the Cossacks would propose a reform in the polish diet to make the state more fair, I'm thinking a polish-lithuanian-ruthenian commonwealth. The resulting state would be even more stable and powerful than OTL (as hard that is to believe) and Poland would inevitably beat back the russians and swedes in a round two.

  • @rippedlincoln

This is incredibly unrealistic. Everybody whose read the eminent historian Algernon Fitzwilliam Carruthers's book from 1891, "The Ebb and Flow of Empires: An Inquiry into the Supposed Rhythms of History", would know that Poland's cycle means that it is a historical inevitability that they create the Polish Space Hussars by the end of the 19th century, which would easily allow Poland to conquer the Moon.

    • @Ronja_the_fairy
      @Ronja_the_fairy 6 месяцев назад +28

Actually, these areas, the last remaining parts of Doggerland, did exist once, however due to rising sea levels they would slowly sink due to rising sea levels. We do not know a whole lot about these places, as much has been buried on the ocean floor, but the peninsula in the north is theorized to be the island which Tacitus claims to be "the home of the Cimbrians" (which were a tribe that attacked Rome around 100 BCE). It might also be where the Angle-part if the Anglo-Saxons came from, due to the area south of it (Saxony) being where the Saxons came from, fleeing from the rising sea to what is today England, however both of these theories are disputed. The place south of the Netherlands, what is today the mouth of the Rhine, would sink during the industrial revolution because of the ice melting.

    This is far too unrealistic.
    1. It would be impossible for Polish nobles to be so ignorant of the people's wanting a democracy. Just like in our timeline where Poland became a democracy. Even if the nobles rejected the people's proposal, the people would simply just overthrow the monarchy and plus the nobles are very smart to where they would have simply agreed with the people.
    2. France and french people are very incompetent. They would never even be able to conquer Germany let alone most of Europe. Plus, why would "Napleon" or whatever even come to power? France back then was ranked by if you were born to a rich family or not, not by your skills.
    3. How would such a bolstered Germany lose 2 world wars? Maybe they got unlucky in the first but they would have surely won the second! I just find it highly unrealistic that the Germans were so unlucky and terrible that they lost 2 world wars! Also, why would France and Britain simply just let Germany take land? That would be so stupid of them to just let Germany get more and more land even while at war!
    4. This "communist" Russia would in no way in heck be able to control the Polish people. As we all know the strong, mighty, intelligent Poles would easily be able to take over Russia and its satellites if they felt like it. No way would Russia be able to control Poland and nothing would happen.
Definitely did not enjoy this video. Wayyy too unrealistic.

Damn I can't watch so much Ls for Poland! I can't cope!
Now I HAVE TO imagine some headcanon continuation for this timeline so that it won't be THAT bad for poles! Like, I don't know, what if this Soviet Russia you're talking about will collapse? Like, what if they'd lose their western lands so that there won't be (or at least there'll be too little) borders between Russia and Poland? And what if Poland had a chance for democratisation and economic growth after all?

    • @igorlopes7589

@@IdioteerButReal Maybe they could first expand southwards and when they are strong enough conquer the etruscans. After that they would have an actual chance to destroy carthage if they are insistent enough. By defeating carthage they get control of north africa, southern gaul and spain, as well as northern italy. Then they could conquer greece by having a war with a macedonian rump state idk. After that they slowly vassalize and annex all the greek kingdoms outside greece. Then, I know I am being very unrealistic at that point, a roman general could conquer Gaul to increase his status, then a civil war starts and after winning he tries to subvert the republic and becoming a monarch, getting killed by the elites angry with him. But his allies would have the support of the people if he was a smart populist, eventually winning and then entering *another* civil war among themselves. Egypt would get on the wrong side of the civil war and be annexed, the winner will be smarter and preserve a republican facade while being a king in all but name, eventually the facade is dropped and the roman empire becomes a monarchy explicitly. They would probably divide in an eastern greek section and a western latin section to make governance easier, I predict the later would fall due to corruption (rome would become very corrupt) and german invasions. German kingdoms would be established all over the western empire. As for the east idk maybe it would be weakened by a series of invasions from arabs, slavs and east asian nomadic peoples, eventually falling to some of these. Nothing lasts forever, after all.
Their legacy would be something akin to Carthage and Alexander, being forever admired and deemed as the source of a common idea of Western Civilization.

No because i like this idea, but you completely gave away the chance of it being realistic with this supposed “genius general” in revolutionary france. Even if such a guy ever existed, the civil unrest and the 13 vendemiarie would have brought back monarchist power nonetheless just like in our timeline. And this “general” would have been executed. But great attempt!
