I don't get Stein Gate. The guy goes back to the present and the whole anime becomes a mess I don't understand. Re: Zero has its resets, but why does it reset in the villa so often? I stopped watching because I didn't understand. There was a Woman who became a male but lost her belief. I read something about that during Stein Gate. I don't get it how people change gender in that anime.
Kushina understood that the Tailed Beasts exist to keep the balance of the world in check, but hatred towards the humans who manipulated them have grown within their hearts. She did not tell that she will restrain or use Kurama, only to keep him in check, until one day, someone will take away that hatred in his heart...... And that person came two decades later.
Boruto can try but it can never surpass this scene, not just for the action and animation but for the character development.. character development of both Naruto and Kurama!!!! Then Kishimoto decided to kill Kurama and nerf Naruto just for the sake of giving Boruto the spotlight.. I wish Kishimoto loved his series like Oda sensei…
The world Kishimoto created in the earliest chapters allowed for an expansive world that could have been as rich as the one portrayed of Mushoku Tensei, even greater because it allowed for much more complexity and at the beginning it seemed like the characters and the mc were going to venture into the world in various missions, but it became utterly monotonous. Somehow, the world around the hidden villages was freezed. It could have been much greater than that, but I guess he indeed was too rushed by everyone who were running business

He has said on many occasions that Toriyama's work was the primary reason he started drawing manga in the first place, and that Dragon Ball was one of his main influences when making Naruto. He has also said that he named Kurama after the YuYu Hakusho character of the same name. It doesn't seem like a stretch that Kishimoto would name one of his tailed beasts after his favorite manga, when we know that he had already done so.

It is also a mashup of goku's monkey form from Dragonball (so not exclusively journey to the west). Dragonball is also a reference to journey to the west, so it is apparently a big mashup of lots of versions of the monkey king from many different sources.
