I've gone through most of the game solo, and only just recently mustered up the courage to traverse the eye of Eden. I met a few other players who were going through for their first time, and we started through together. About halfway through, we ran into a Vet who was helping their own little friend, and they basically took it upon themself to help us all. Doing the deep calls, and going first to show us the best path. I lagged behind a bit, and got separated from everyone, but when I got to the area before the point of no return, the vet was there waiting for me and they clapped and cheered and I felt so happy 😊
My first day playing I got snatched by someone (might’ve been a veteran, not sure) and they took me straight to Eden 😭 I ended up beating Eden my first day
@@SlytherinParfaitnearly had that happen to me lol. Ran into the guy in the 2nd realm, he dragged me through the whole game, just blasting through every realm and taking me to all the easily visible wing lights, and I broke off before he could pull me into eden. Lol judging by the hellscape I could see through the portal at the end of the vault, I didn't really feel like attempting to venture through at that point

There’s also the “Final Girl” Veteran, which is me. All my friends have slowly stopped playing or don’t play as often as before, and I’m the last one who still comes on frequently 🤧

You can get their emotes, but not their cosmetics if their season ended

If you get krilled, totally exit the game. You will come back and find your didn't lose your stars!! Make sure to exit as soon as you're hit! If the stars hit the dark water, they'll disappear!!

I’m a moth who isn’t really new, I’ve played for about a year (had to restart my account rip) but I’ve never gotten super far in terms of cosmetics. I still have the lil brown cape and it wasn’t until recently that I’ve realized I’m still a moth haha- I know a lot abt the game but every time I meet a vet who shows me something new I’m like “wOAHH :O”
I don't have many cosmetics too!
But I bought beginner pack when I first played out of curiosity.
I've never bought any paid items in game before and as I now have my own money from working, I got curious enough to try.

Cosmetics are my favorite thing in every game, so when I get the opportunity to spend all my money on it, I take it TwT
This happened to me, I had to re-download Sky cause of my iPad's complications, and it wasn't attached to any Google accounts, so all my progress was lost. I'd been playing since 3 months after it's release. (´༎ຶ ͜ʖ ༎ຶ `)♡

Catch me as a red spell giver, lol.. I love collecting spells and when my collection is ridiculously large, my only option will be to throw em at mothys. It's really cute seeing them dressed up and excited to be wearing something cool, or ask how to get it.
There's too many cute oufits to restrict yourself to one. I may or may not be trying to create fellow fashionistas that'll change every 10 mins with me lmaoo
This is the same with me haha, I love collecting spells whenever I can so I have tons and my favorite thing to do is add little mothys and dress them up, I also can NEVER be satisfied with one look. I always change up my outfit when I can

I've played sky for 5ish years [3ish of those years I've spent completely inactive].
I met a veteran the first time I was doing the fire trial I was so lost and scared but they helped me 🥺 after that they added me as a friend ☺️❤️

There's a trick to take a shortcut through the part of the fire trial with the dark wormies, it involves a lot of jumping and climbing (and some frustration from having to keep trying but it was well worth it). I followed a tutorial here on RUclips. Tutorials from fellow gamers on RUclips have saved my ass so many times for things like these 😅

What's funny is that red is a whole veteran category, and yet it's absolutely true. I ran into so many veterans that just exclusively wear red, badass as hell.
I’m that veteran who was broke the entire time and spent more time talking to people than actually farming and what-not, like yeah I have the adventure pass necklaces but I don’t have many ultimate gifts- I never candle run unless my friends just drag me along, and the most amount of hearts ive had in one setting was like.. 70?

Same bro. Started in gratitude but didn’t understand the game that much so I only got a hat 💀. I played to Enchantment but didn’t rlly care that much and just got like one cosmetic from each season and was like that’s enough lol
Somewhat same. Although, going to geyser, granny table, and turtle cleanup can rack up candles quick. I go to those locations sometimes. Even then, traveling spirits have me broke.
@@robertadamsx2yeah I try to get to granny's table at least once a day, but man those TS and other returning events drain me dry as soon as i can get into the 100s... Aurora concert event now and that Cure For Me fit being 200 candles 😩

I like to smuggle the crabs as far as the game will allow me to.
Which is usually pretty far, I can usually bring em to the next loading zone before they disappear lol

I'm that except I'm not a veteran-
I'm a moth and the veteran players I met so far is so funny and friendly. I accidentally met them at home, changing their cosmetic and what not, and I just sat by the pond and watch them 😂 somehow they noticed me and started showing off their cosmetics in a good way 🤣 one day, I returned to home and met this one veteran who were in the middle of playing his music. I sat there and cheered for them. They were so happy and played three more songs for me hshshsh they looked so happy though when they noticed I kept cheering at the side 🥹

I met a veteran once that scolded me for sitting on grandma's chair at the table 🤣 I felt like a dumb child

I remember running vault (before past spirits were around all the time) with a group of 5 others and on the elevator we were spamming emotes like we usually do and I did the juggling emote. It was about a second of silence from them all before it was honking and swarming. I felt like I achieved my veteran pass on that day.
There’s also ones who keep losing accounts, I’m probably on my third one now
My first vet who helped me in Prairie, I randomly named Anurura. ^-^ never played with her again but she give me hearts every other day. ^-^ very happy

Being the laid back veteran is the only way to beat the sky grind. Once you're content with your looks, you'll be able to focus on other things such as goofing off and acting funny around people for hours without having to worry about grinding

I consider myself the laidback music veteran. While I may not farm candles often, I play music
Exit: Wait a minute, by veteran, is it only gratitude, lightseeker, belonging and rhythm? Or including the android early seasons like Enchantment, sanctuary and prophecy?
Some people consider themselves a veteran if they’re from one of the few earliest seasons, while others determine it if they’ve had a repeated ts (because ts’s take a long time to repeat in the game), etc. It can be difficult to know who is a veteran and who isn’t due to the varying opinions, though. 😊
@@Bo_Mia yeah true. I'm my opinion, I considered the players who played before the season of gratitude to be the true veterans. Even though I claimed it, I still consider truly that these people are the true veterans
The first way, I consider veterans everyone that got to see theirs travel spirit of the first season they had play.
So for now, till assembly season on back, are veterans.
Second way i use veterans term are more rarely, people who knows a lot about the game(lore,obbs,shortcuts, glitchs etc), this kinda of people are really kind and usually help a lot new player or players that are in difficulty.
Btw a veteran for me, can be so even if they no have ultimate gifts, no evryone can afford a pass.
