The craftsmen ship in this home is amazing. I love white so elegant. Change the lighting and get rid of that terrible wall paper and paint over the dark walls and dark finishes. I'd also change the countertops in kitchen to quartz white. The exterior is beautiful. Over all a amazing home.

People don't realize the beauty of this home belies a terrible trap of maintenance, care, and huge expense that balloons quickly. These parade houses will own their owners in more ways that just financially. The way we design homes affects our relationships with the people we love and live with. Imagine a home so large, you never have to eat together at the same table or even see each other let alone sleep in the same bed. Imagine the wealth assumptions of people so rich, they regularly spend their lives focusing on furbishing, cleaning, and maintaining their lifestyles and don't have a clue how to think holistically about living in community sharing in the needs and care of others. Architectural design affects lifestyle and relationships and ultimately the fabric of our lives.
Wrong !! People that buy these home are worth 100’s of millions if not billions. Maintenance and operating costs is no object for them. Not for their jets, yachts, or a home like this that they may only visit a few times a year. They just want luxury.
Me? Give me a modest cabin in the woods.
@@johnlong4335 obviously you haven't heard about the celebrities trying to offload their homes in the down market. ALL material Possessions take up our lives, and rob us of being able to invest our limited time and life to things that really count.

I don’t see this as a house. It’s unnecessarily big. Looks more like a hotel or a castle. You can live here and never see your family members. You need a crew just to maintain it.
So much trim, mill work, and plaster work done, then they paint it white. Makes me want to gag!
