    It's a pity not many violinists don't understand the language of this beautiful work, which is hidden in the details. Rachel Barton Pine definitely does. Great remarks, congratulations

    Great overview. That first mvt theme reminds me of SP's belief, rooted in his religious convictions (Christian Science), that his melodic ideas were a product of divine inspiration- hence, they retained their independence/integrity even if he re-used them in other contexts. Such a mysterious, floating quality- frankly, I prefer a slower approach to it than is common, notwithstanding SP's own dry, modernist performing style.

    Donot sound so angry.
    Ya should concentrate on performance elements.
    Forget the history of compose.
    No gliss in the beginning.
    This cannot be blablaed o more.
