3:45 A drip guard for a tapered candle is called a Bobeche. They come in a wide range of designs from simple plain glass too extremely fancy cut crystal cups with hanging crystal details. They can add to your decor as well without you ever lighting your taper candles.

Used this video as an Example to my Students who are Building a Brand
"The Algorithm recommended I watch this. The Subject and oldTimey nature of the footage made me want to know more.
I post this because this guy is up front with his Mission, his Branding, and his Niche, while also serving it well.
The video is still a little rough around the edges and yet he does a great job at educating you around all the Choice you have and how the Trends came to be.
As a Brand Builder I want you to be Encouraged by this.
Most of Production is thoughtful planning. You too can have a Message and a Voice that resonates Others into Action.
As you Master your Art, what helpful perspective have you gathered about the History of your Craft?"
Thank you for being tonight. Keep up the great work!

This was such a cool video. History of things has always interested me and I include tidbits of info in my writing & now candle info is going in there, too. 😊
I’m no pro candle maker, but I dabble by collecting the last bits of old candles, melt them, and then layer them in a jar in similar scents. Eventually I have a super candle to use!
    Keep up the great work!

Hi! Have you ever tried the Cereria Molla candles? I want to buy some but I wanted to know what your thoughts were if you have smelled them before.

I am curious why candles are mostly designed cylindrical and why initially they were designed cylindrical

Tallow candles don’t smell so bad. Depends on how well the fat is rendered.
