I'm on my second round of prednisone for autoimmune issues that are out of control, and I'm puffed up like a swollen balloon, and this just made me feel so much better about my body and that even though these meds are screwing with my meat sack, it's temporary and I'm still me and still beautiful. Dammit! I came here to laugh and have some intellectual stimulation, but now I'm crying bc, by the end, I'm unexpectedly hearing something I needed to hear and it's so fucking genuinely loving. You're honestly the best comedian around! And one of the best people putting out so much positivity.
This was the message i needed to get through the day. You hardly see a set that actually uplifts you, so much comedy is like (as Zach Galifianakis once said to a young heckler) "trees are weird." Or some personal fucked up story. But i do love how Chad mostly ends with a hug. I needed that hug today. Thanks man

First, I “liked” when you told me not to “like”, because my meat tube is wired that way - but to be real, I knew ahead of time I was going to like it, so I brought the fetus of my incidental smile to term early, incubated it and let it grow into a full blown, mildly obnoxious grown up “like” that transcended it’s meager circumstances to thrive in good health at an unlikely level, because I also see ample value in smiling at my body - and our bodies, our diversity and all the slimy, sticky funny business we’re invariably a part of. But in any case - and don’t worry retrospectively about the style-biting implications, because I won’t feel satisfied with my own creative output unless, or until, it’s different enough (+ we are different species of muppets, so that bodes well for this being true) - I really feel like you’re laying down the blueprint of what I want to be as a comedian. I mean, I fully intend to marinate in hilarious juices from every corner of the globe, but you’ve got the right mix of rhythm, exotic references and exaggerated emotional bravado to get my proverbial juices flowing. I mean, just look at the over-the-top degree of spluttering nonsense melded into this compliment. That’s what you call “inspiration”.
