as i was watching you glue the body on i was thinking how cool a small magnet would have been so it could have been removable and you could have put a battery in there and run a light or two… great vid! thanks!
If I saw 57 Chevy like that in real life and had $ I would buy it and restore it. There actually is someone near Sonora, Ca that has a 56 Chevy Nomad rusting outside of his house. Bill from Ca.
Very clever. I love the details. It's a massive amount of work just to make the bonnet popped which is subtle but makes all the difference! Brilliant job buddy. New subscription from me!
aw, poor chevy. all we need now is the guys from What The Rust? trying to make the motor run again. :) nice casting of the shed floor. you could make a model kit out of it, maybe. cast the bottoms and the walls in resin and add a few balsa beams for further decoration. "Hmm, this shed looks familiar." "Look, do you wanna buy that junk or not?" ;)
Ya know the napkins you get at fast food places, or the paper towels in the men’s room? That’s what I’m using here. Those, soaked in diluted modpodge. Ask for extra napkins at Taco Bell! 😆
Man The things you do to your cars! I imagine some cringe But I LOVE it, it inspires me to take out some of mine from my collection and do that! I mean after 25 years they might look this way anyway RIGHT!? This is not crafts This is ART WORK! Where do you get the cars?

I think it was some plastic from packaging.. Some toys have the clear sheet in a display box. I’m always hanging on to little bits of trash that come in handy.
@@VicsModShop I think I been inspired been about 8 to 10 years since I touched a plastic model car.. this will be fun because 1 64 got way more options

Many of the cars I work with are M2 Machines, simply because they often have opening doors or hoods etc. Thanks for the kind words!!

That's badass 🍺💣💀.. hey from northern Illinois... is that Christina 👹🪦
Thanks!! Not Christine, but pretty close eh? I think Christine was a Plymouth..
Outstanding work, lovely piece of desk art, what material did u use for the tarp?
Thanks! That was a piece of cheap paper towel. Like the kind you find at the gas station pumps. Saturated with matte mod lodge and water.
What do you use for the tarp, and the fabric for the weathered interior of the seats? Love your style! Very artistic!
Thank you! I use cheap-o napkins or paper towels wetted with modpodge and water.
That's amazing!! Love your videos, and I'm a subscriber! Thanks for the info.
I enjoyed a lot watching the process. Congrats!!! One question…what material did you use for the clothes?
I use paper towels wetted with ModPodge and water. I use the cheap kind of paper towels like you'd find in a public restroom. lol Thanks!!
@@VicsModShop thanks for sharing this 🙏🏻

Can you make a video of now restoring it?
Just watch the video in reverse.
Vic, what did you use to make the driver side rear window? Thanks.
I think it was some plastic from packaging.. Some toys have the clear sheet in a display box. I’m always hanging on to little bits of trash that come in handy.
What is it that you use to tarp the car ?....nice video
Thank you. That’s just a piece of cheap paper towel.
what did you use for the seats and inside on the roof?
That's ModPodge, a little water.. And cheap paper towels. Super easy!
A suggestion I would enjoy seeing is an old NASCAR car, like something they raced in the 50s or 60s.
Yeah that’d be a good one for sure.
what you got for cover up the chevy ?
That’s a piece of paper towel wetted with water and modpodge
thanks a lot@@VicsModShop

This is 1/64

Hi there can you do one of CHRISTINE when she is sitting in the old man’s yard?
That'd be a cool one for sure. Maybe one of these days I will. Thanks!
Is that a paper towel used over the car
@@choppedandscrewedcustoms .. yeah, wetted with water thinned modpodge. 👍
Are you sure that qualifies as a barn?😉
It qualifies as the remains of a barn.
