I know it may sound weird, but the dome light being on is probably the part I like best - most modellers probably would have missed that.Overall the diorama is great!
My first time making a resin water feature.. and I added lighting. So there were moments I was a little nervous, but overall I think it came out pretty good! Thanks for stopping by! Please LIKE & SUBSCRIBE if you enjoyed this! Thanks!
Full watch and share. Great work as always. You outdid yourself with this one. AWESOME !!! The murky water looks so good . And the fact that you left the car mint new , makes it all look so real . WOW . I am working on a 57 Nomad delivery wagon , diorama . Using a lot of your techniques and tips . Mike .
Thanks so much, Mike! This one was a bit of a challenge… logistics etc. And thanks to the magic of video editing, I was able to hide several screw-ups! 😂😂
i use to love doing dioramas a lot. i stopped in 2008...been thinking about getting back into customs again. not sure yet...my shop is still here i work in it almost everyday doing other hobbies... love the headlight and tail lights working...under water.. fantastic job..
Thank you! Yeah I go a little crazy if I’m not making something. Radio Control was getting too expensive and I needed a hobby that didn’t take up much space. So 1/64 ended being a good choice for me.

I love all the details, other modellers would have clear water but this one looks natural and dirty and the dome light being on because the doors are open! Phenominal job!

*His was a judge.. so it's cool* - 😂 What would you suggest for doing a 4x4 squarebody crew thats been sitting under a tree for 30+ years & has lots of moss growing on it but it's rescuable? Haha Amazing build, looks great! What LED lights & cement did you use as well?
The LED lights are were prewired SMD. Little tiny things.. and I used CA glue and UV resin for the headlights. But for the whole build I probably use 5 different adhesives.
Thanks! And for moss, hmmm.. I might suggest the finest turf flocking you can find mixed with acrylic medium or modpodge. Or just sculpt the moss shapes with acrylic paste and paint it.
@@VicsModShop that's great, definitely worth checking out! How long does a battery last & remain active for display? Moss tips sound great, I'll keep that in mind for sure & try some different things, Can't wait to see the next one! Keep rockin! 🤘🤘

I used the stick to add rigidity to the tape..By itself, the tape was a bit wobbly. I actually did the pour in two steps. Sorry the resin sequence wasn’t as clear as it could’ve been.

UV resin
