Crystal you're an amazing teacher! I have learned SO much from watching your crochet videos. I appreciate your patience and taking the time to explain everything. Keep up the great work, and I'll keep watching and learning😊
What a delightful pattern, thank you. To celebrate our Springbok rugby players winning the 2023 WRC iI used green yarn for the bib and yellow for the border representing our green and gold Springbok colours!!! Looks quite cool 🏅👌
These little bibs made in cotton are the best for drooling babies. I’m making a dozen for my new grgranddaughter, thanks Crystal. I might even make one for myself and add some sparkly beads, ha
My big turned out beautifully! You explain things so clearly and I appreciate how you tell the number of stitches that one is supposed to have...Thank you!
I made this tonight I just have to put a button on it tomorrow. I’ll tag you on instagram when I post it. Thanks Crystal my granddaughter is trying food so I’ll be making more.
Great video! I love the way you explain everything so detailed. I'm a I'm a beginner at crocheting and thanks to you i made two of the baby bibs and currently working on more of your projects. Thanks
I have an autistic toddler who loves to chew on her clothes. She hasn't been taking to chew necklaces or toys so I thought a bib would be a similar material to her clothes. I JUST mastered the single crochet (I only learned to crochet back in october) and now this is my first real project with a pattern. I'm so thankful for this tutorial. Thank you so much ❤ I'll be sure to show the finished project
Life saver my church asked me to see if I can make christening bibs so this was super easy, and I was even able to embellish it a little ... thank you!!!!
Thank you for this awesome easy video did not take long to make so quick and easy the only thing I did different was I used caron cotton cakes yarn instead of what you used 😀
Amazing on how many of these bibs I've done ... You figured that I would know it by heart ... I always have to play it to start the pattern ... Thanks for tutorial ...
These look so awesome and easy to do. Thank you for making the video I'm expecting baby #3 and I'm going to make a bunch of these. Thank you so much again.
My Goodness Crystal! You're an awesome teacher and I most certainly love your videos and tutorials. My niece is giving birth in May and since I'm not there (Ohio) I've been crocheting up a storm. I just finish crocheting 8 different colors of this bib. I'm afraid I'm going to making this in my sleep.
Hi! Thank you for this awesome video. I've been wanting to try making a bib. I am kinda hoping this will fit my two yr old but, usually she dose excellent in not spilling. Jus like to for when we're out or she has nice clothes on. And my friend is gonna be having a baby! 😇 So I'm super excited that she will let me crochet her some stuff. I'm gonna go crazy wild an do a bunch of stuff. May even try making some baby bloomers. I jus wanted to seriously with my whole heart thank you for what you do. You've been a huge amazing help to me. God bless you and your family! Keep up the great work.
I am a beginner and this looks great as a gift. I'm looking for some nice beginner friendly projects for the doctor I work for who is having twins ... So question. I know you turned the camera off for the tails. But how did u sew in the tail on the part of the bib where you began the other side of the strap with a new thread of yarn? Not sure if you'll see this comment but can't wait to watch more of your videos!!!
Crystal, hi. Love your tutorials very much so. I made a few of the baby bibs already. Do you happen to have the written pattern for this bib? I want to continue to make many more. Thank you so much for all you do hun. HUGS.
I used yarn bee sugarwheel cotton, mine looks so small did 28 rows so it looks a little bigger, gonna finish but next 1 will adjust size. Ty again for us who need visual. Keep checking for Xmas in July Excited like a kid on xmas.
I have 3 questions; first if the bib is being made for a 5 month old, would I have to add more then 28 rows for the strap and could you add Terry Cloth to back to make it more waterproof? How would I add Terry Cloth? I love your videos.
I ended up adding Terry cloth, even tho with single stitch was quite secure but with our granddaughter teething, I wanted this to have the backing. I pinned and cut the Terry Cloth to the size of bib, then did my single crochet all around the base securing the Terry Cloth in place
I want to make bibs for the babies in my life. Are they soft and absorbent? I've made dishcloths before and they were stiff. I want to make them but I want them to be used. Any opinions?
I know your question is 4 yes old but yes it can be made with hdc. I made 1 with sc and 1 with hdc the biggest difference is the hdc is a little bigger.
Velcro's such a better choice. Feeding time can often be a fussy time and gettin that bib off quick is better than fightin with baby. Plus I kept bibs on my babies ALL day unless they were in bed to save their clothing so they went through a bunch. Buttons just aren't safe. Sewn or otherwise. Thx Crystal.
Crystal you're an amazing teacher! I have learned SO much from watching your crochet videos. I appreciate your patience and taking the time to explain everything. Keep up the great work, and I'll keep watching and learning😊

I would like to make these but I only have size 2 cotton yarn,
Would I have to make more chains? I will try see how wide it gets with 21 chains.
Hello! Will these shrink in the wash?
I want to make bibs for the babies in my life. Are they soft and absorbent? I've made dishcloths before and they were stiff. I want to make them but I want them to be used. Any opinions?
Those so can you do them on loom knit ❤️
Hi crystal , can this be done in half double crochet?
I know your question is 4 yes old but yes it can be made with hdc. I made 1 with sc and 1 with hdc the biggest difference is the hdc is a little bigger.
