- Recently a team of 5 technicians arrived in Nigeria on 27th September. I brought them to Lagos and Ibadan situation to plan the installation of air-conditioners and ventilation system. In this VLOG, you will see the latest update of construction work. According to the project manager of station building, they are supposed to commission all the buildings before Christmas. Great news for me! Then I can take the new train from Lagos to IITA Ibadan every weekend much easier and faster. The journey of car driving cost approximately 4.5 hours with light traffic, single trip.
I am kind of overwhelmed by the railway project, will try to update it regularly.
Thank you for the updates. I will keep watching.
Any new video for this week?
Thanks for the updates, any for December? When do you reckon construction will be completed
Good Job Stay Safe
Thank you very much , while it is good that you are involved in helping nigeria build it's system ,I d like to know if nigeria is actually making any efforts for skill transfer? This is actually more Important than building the project
I'm a Nigerian watching from the UK, keep up the good work. I hope the relationship between China and Nigeria continues to grow and strengthen.
Thank you. They have so much progress every day. I will update some small stations such as Apapa, Agege, Papalanto then.
@@LieutZhuNG Does the rail link up to the port in Apapa?
@@sigerian1085 yes it does
thanks for the update! Nigerians are doing great!
I suddenly came across your channel. China is doing a great job in Nigeria. Good to see.
Amazing footage! Keep up the good work I love what you are doing. 👍❤️
Thank you! My team will catch up with the progress.
Great job. Thanks for the footage
Some small stations almost finished, I will update them later.
@@LieutZhuNG ok cool
good evening my friend ! thanks for these updates !! thanks for sharing these videos !
Amazing clip, can't wait to see the proper finished look
Please you guys should build it perfect just like the one in china.
Yes, we will
Good job! Thank you!
Be honest it has been delayed for weeks, other teams waiting for us to finish the AC. Will catch up soon!
Thanks for the update!!! Do you have any information on the Lagos state light rail project. The blue line linking Marina and the red line. I saw the governor on the news talking about the purple, orange, yellow line as well.
This has been planned decades ago, I do saw the blue print in CCECC Lagos office all the lines in different colors. Last governor put a hold on the light rail project, no progress since then. The sitting governor has more enthusiastic on the light rail project, I do saw lots of progress. Fun fact: When I saw LAMTA though it was Los Angles Metropolitan Transit Authority.LOL.
We Nigerians are very good in noisemaking.
Nah, same in China. Nationalism sometimes is toxic.
Let us have more of this video . Infact all stations on Lagos Ibadan rail project. Thanks.
Some small stations almost ready. I will go with one of my French friend to shoot the video together. He has a drone.
@@LieutZhuNG Thanks
@@LieutZhuNG Thanks
Please is there any show room for Gree dual inverter split air-condition system in Nigeria. Please let me have more information privately.
@@LieutZhuNG i also have a drone. you can use it
Post more videos bro
When will it be ready for use? Please give realistic date
In use now, only 2 years of construction. Full operation will be in 2021somewhere March or April
I heard that the Chinese companies don't hire the locals in key positions like project management. Is that true?
Best to hire based on qualifications and experience. If the locals know the job then they should be hired. However if locals don't know the job why give them management positions just because they are locals? Why screw up the job?

Management jobs for rail in Nigeria, hmmmmm when there was no standard guage some 20yrs ago, so where will the experience come from, unless you're hiring Nigerians from diaspora. I don't think many Nigerians abroad would jump at that offer when you consider the Nigeria factor, lol, and you get paid hourly abroad and with your experience means more money plus you are guaranteed training there. In my opinion, coming to work as a management staff from abroad is dicey. As for this project, I know lots of technicians and labourers are Nigerians as you can see in the video, so hiring management staff from a country that is on Maglev 600km/hr is not a bad idea.
Have to hire the best people for this project. Building collapse and train derailment is real. All kinds of malfunctions can happen due to bad management
They hired lots of local staff. Previously they use Chinese nationals for heavy truck driver and excavator operator. Now non of them exist since more and more Nigerians are capable of drive a heavy duty truck or operate excavator. By the plan, CCECC will handle the whole operation to FG after 3 years, only provide supporting services. They sent team of Nigerian engineers to China to get training. Not bad.
I HOPE IT IS NOT THOSE BREAKING DOWN ALL THE TIME TRAINS THAT U ARE TAKING TO LAGOS ....ALSO I HOPE EVERY MANUAL IS IN ENGLISH AND NOT CHINESE

0:49 too much noise from these workers. they need to shut their mouths and work!
