    I love this series on the Via Appia. I think Brindisi and Lecce are underrated places to visit. I've stood under both columns and marveled at how far from Rome Brindisi really is. Interestng how one column (now in Piazza St. Oronzo, Lecce) was moved. Thanks again!

    congrats for pronouncing the word MUNICIPIUM in the classical Latin style 😊, hard C and all.
    by the way, your name, Darius, sounds Persian, (perhaps you are ethnically too) - I find it very interesting that someone with a Persian name is representing Rome so wonderfully 😊 I'm ethnically Hungarian but feel more Hellenic/Roman in my heart, so I get it.
