I love it! The only thing I would change would be to take ivy and go all the way around the hoop. Maybe. It sounds good but until you lay it out you don’t know. Thx for sharing.
I really loved the frame that you painted! I'm looking to do something like that but I'm planning on using chicken wire as the backing behind the embroidery hoop. But I love your creativity! Thanks for sharing. Carylon
Personally, I prefer silk o er plastic greenery but it looked like I'd have 2 b right up on the piece 2 tell that it was plastic. It blended very nicely all 2gether. I really love this project! It's what I call "Shabby Chic/Farmhouse". I could easily c this on my own home walls. It's lovely, u did a wonderful job. Thank u 4 sharing it with all of us. 💟
This project is beautiful. What a nice piece of art/home decor. Love the greenery. The more diys I see, the more I get inspired to make my own things. So much cheaper and you can make them your own.
I love it!! I too, go to thrift stores and find nice, thick wood frames with beautiful detail! Came out beautiful!! If you want the canvas look you can also buy drop cloth, it’s not expensive and you can get quite a few projects out of one piece.
+Monarch Mom DIY ~ You've combined my three favorite hobbies! Thrifting, Dollar Tree bargain hunting, and DIY!! This turned out beautiful and so unique. Blessings 💙🙏🏻💙
Hi Cathleen. Not sure why YT never notified me of this comment but, no, I am not a stay at home mom. I work 45+ hours per week. But crafting is what I do for me and to relax. Figured I might as well start making videos :)
This is my all time favorite, my house is full of boy's so its a perfect project for me its not to girly but not to boyish. Love the fact that you kept the floral more neutral its makes for the beauty and simplicity of the crafted frame seem ageless. Love love love this tfs
Cindy, I absolutely love this. Just me I white washed the wood look paper that you put in the back of the frame. Mine turned out wonderful. After hanging this I kept looking at it thinking how nice it looked over my gray washed fireplace and started thinking (scary). I was sure glad how you hung your hoop in the middle. At Christmas I simply took it off and using another hoop that came from Walmart and put pine greenery on it. Then took those small battery operated lights on the wreath and hung this back up with the same ribbon that you used to hang it as before. After Christmas I changed it back. I absolutely love this Cindy. You have turned into one of my favorite DIY'ers. I'm a pediatric nurse , we had our office Christmas party at my house and I got sooo many complement's on my fireplace and the frame you showed me how to make. They wanted to know where I purchased this, when I told them I made it they just couldn't believe it. Thank you so much for all the beautiful DIY's. Keep up the wonderful work. Many Thanks, Scott from North Carolina!
this project gives a lovely serene feeling, which i find really beautiful.i have a lot of old frames i've gotten in thrift stores etc, i just didn't quite know what to do with them, lol. this a great idea i plan to use. tfs. have a great week & God bless :) :) nancy in ga usa
This is very nice. Looks like it came from a home decor boutique! I love it. Neutrals can be colored up or not. This is versatile for different tastes. Great upcycle on the canvas bag! 🌿❤
I know this has little to do with your awesome videos, but I was wondering about the music you have playing in the background. Its so relaxing and easy to listen to. Id like to purchase a copy for myself when I'm crafting. Any suggestions? Please and thank you for sharing your amazing talents and creativity with us all. =)
I wasn't sure when you started with the ferns on the hoop...I thot, oh my, Caesar's head gear...but it turned out to be wonderful in the wooden frame! Kudos to you!
I've seen people use the wax and was just wondering the difference between using wax or paint!!! Is it more like a stain???!!! Thanks for helping!!! LOVE this craft!!!!
I love this! I really don't like plastic flowers or greenery, but I have to say, these don't look like plastic and I really like how they look! Thank you for sharing! :-D ♡
Very nice Cindy, I really love it. Thank you so much for sharing your idea. Do you use low temp on your glue gun when doing plastic florals and greenery? When I’ve used high temp it seems to melt the plastic. I sure enjoy watching your videos. Thank you 😊
This is super cute but I don't care for the dark brown in the back of the frame. If I recreate this? I'm going to either leave the back off or paint it the same as the frame. Great diy though! :)
I just purchased something very similar to your DIY this weekend and it has just greenery which really drew me to it. The background on mine is a checked pattern print which lightened the look. I like your DIY especially the frame which adds depth but I think the dark contact paper is too dark a background. This is just an observation not a criticism. Thanks for this nice DIY.
Such a great project. I was wondering if u could tell me what type of printer u use. My husband has been trying to print stuff out for me but the largest we can print it out is about an inch tall so we were thinking it was our printer that is limiting us from making the sayings bigger. I love all ur ideas. U are truly creative. Thank you for sharing your ideas.

Kristin, I do a Google search for a graphic of the word I want. I save the image and then insert it into a word document so I can make it as big as I want.
@@monarchmomdiy Oh, ok. I think I understand now. I will definitely try this. Thank you so much for your help. I'm sure you are very busy and have many other people to respond back to. I would have thought you would add greenery @ the top of the hoop to cover it & also not see so much of the blue background. I think it would give more accent to the frame overall.

The second greenery looks like eucalyptus and it's quite life like. Your project turned out so nice.

I like your embroidery with home on it super cute
Unique idea. I like it
The chalk paint looks really nice over the wood frame. I’m not always a fan of covering wood, but this frame has changed my mind.
Great job I love it
Very 👍
Great tutorial. I made a very similar one last year. I used balsa wood, that I stained, as the background.
Thank you. That sounds gorgeous Lynn!
Really really love it. You did a fabulous job. I think using only the greenery was a good choice. It looked very smart.

Very pretty. I think the other greenery was eucalyptus, which I love.
I love eucalyptus too!
I think this looks awesome great job
Great idea...it’s really nice. Would adding a pine cone amid the greenery look good?

I like this diy. Was thinking to use chicken wire in place of poster board and dark contact paper to give it a more open airy spring time feel. Tfs.
That would look nice!
You can also put the nail in between the teeth of a comb to hold it while you hammer it in.
Creative

Really like this but...I would have ironed the crease out of the muslin before adding to frame...not meant to be a downer, just a suggestion
Wish I could give you a 100 thumbs up!!! So Darling.. Super great...

Love the greenery 🌿
Ohhhh! You wrecked that beautiful frame!
No. It was damaged. You just couldn't see that part in the video. I rescued it from the trash

Yes the wax is more like a stain but not smelly!!
I like the frame, but I think flowers added in with the fern would be more colorful.
nice job.
That looks almost like a quilting hoop. The greenery is perfect. It looks beautiful.
Bobby pins work for those little nails too

Have you used dropcloth for projects? I've not but I have heard a lot about how great it works.

I think I would have softened the background by dry-brushing some ivory or white chalk paint (and to take some of the shine out of the contact paper)
