Fun fact: John Witherspoon played a cop in SE06 EP21 of Good Times. The episode was titled "A Matter of Mothers," and the plot was about Willona being set up by Penny's mom, who tried to stop Willona from being eligible to adopt Penny.

I had the pleasure of meeting them both. I took the pictures of my friends with Ja'Net Dubois at a film festival and she insisted that take one too. A few years later, I went to John Witherspoon's show and afterwards I told him he smelled good I expected an old man smell. He laughed so hard. Seriously I wish I knew what kinda cologne he had.

Not shocked. Jimmie Walker WAS JJ Evans. Much like the rest of the casts of All In The Family, The Jeffersons and Good Times... Though I will say Jamie Foxx was the best at imitating Sherman Hemsley. He couldn't beat Sherman but he came closer to capturing the character of George Jefferson than everyone else.
