That Ben Franklin lightning book, has a special place in my heart. My daughter loved that book🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻 Keep doing you momma. It’s the thought that counts and memories you’re making for them💚
@@sophiehomemaker I only have one kid, I got sick and couldn’t have more. But even before I got sick, I wanted everything for my daughter. As she gets older, the only thing that matters is the actual memories and them knowing you are there for them through all their ups and downs. They watch you day in and day out. Even when it doesn’t seem like they are listening, they are. I promise it doesn’t matter if you buy them expensive things at the store, or you go to a thrift shop or a garage sale. Just have fun and enjoy doing whatever you choose to do. Just an idea, but you can even get things at a thrift shop and work on fixing it up all together as a family project. Like finding a cookie jar and have them decorate it with their hand prints, or even jars you use to store your flour, sugar, cinnamon, etc. Try doing diy crafts with them(even though I know it’s a lot of work because us mommas have enough on our plate:)) perhaps it will get you more views:)
@@sophiehomemaker I just got a bunch of old ripped up books from my local library, Idk why I kept thinking of it as making fun wrapping paper but I love the papier-mâché idea!! I’m gonna have to try!!
When you have 7 kids I’d make it worth it and go to goodwill and get what you can find they will like. My kids are older and they ask for more expensive gifts now
Great haul! The kids are going to love everything! Maybe you could make the white chocolate Chex mix or rice crispy treats dyed green for bottom of baskets. Obviously they would need to be in a baggy or maybe even plastic wrap. Just thinking outside the basket (box) lol. Thanks for sharing. ❤️
If you are into paper mache you could have strips of newspaper in bottom of baskets and then use it to make something out of paper mache. Just tell your kids to save the paper for a special project.

Thank you so much. 💓 That means a lot.

Keep the ripped book for arts and crafts for the kids if you’re up for that. They’re gonna love their baskets I love what you did 😊
Thank you so much for that suggestion! Hadn't thought of that. 😊
We could make it into a papier mache project.

You are so welcome!
Fun video, I loved all of the well-thought-out gifts that you got ! Especially the kid's bible & the puppets, all so nice with the baskets. 😊
Thank you!! 💓

Oh, that's an idea. Thank for that suggestion! I'm glad you liked the haul. 💓🤗
I grabbed some gingham dish clothes from Poundland (uk) dollar tree equivalent, they look so pretty they had lilac and yellow. Loved this ❤

Yes!! This would be an excellent option. Thank you. Something to consider for sure.
If you have any yarn scraps you could use that as a filler for the bottom of baskets.
What a great idea!! I do have some yarn...hmm
I'm new here and 🩷 your channel! Thank you for the video!!
Welcome!!
There is Nothing wrong with shopping at the goodwill, even garage sales. With a large family you almost need to!
The horse saying the greatest show on earth is probably the Barnum and Bailey circus.
Oh nice! That makes sense.
Where is this goodwill! I’m in Maine and our goodwill is so small. Nothing like u yours!
Nice❤
This one is in Robesonia in PA. I love seeing Goodwills in different areas and what they're like!
Towels would be a great reusable filler.
Oh, that's a good idea. 👍🏻
So you don’t do the magic of the Easter bunny??
WHY do you spray Pam in boiling eggs????!!!!
It keeps the water from boiling over.
