Thank you so much for this webinar. I had a child with ADHD in the 90s. This would have been so helpful. We tried medication at first, but he didn't like how it made him feel. He eventually over time, found coping skills & self medicated with Cannabis, unknown to us. We discovered years later (>10 yrs.) that my wife & I had undiagnosed ADHD in our 70s. My son is in his 30s now and happily married with 2 children. Now we have to learn all the techniques you discussed in addition to other ADDitude magazine videos. Thank you again.
Thank you so much for providing this informational webinar. My child was not diagnosed as ADHD, but her symptoms are close enough that I strongly believe that these informational items will be extremely helpful. And I definitely have some things to change about my own behaviors in order to assist in these changes, lol. Thanks again!
It focuses on screen usage. Adults with ADHD can adopt both the caregiver and receiver role to examine and respond to their screen usage. I understand that this is extremely difficult for the affected but in the absence of a dedicated caregiver this often becomes a necessary bootstrapping before changes can be made. Adopting the executive role and recruiting valid support is empowering.

If people are engaging in any kind of addiction, their basic lifestyles will be disrupted
Based on the title, I assumed this talk was for adults with ADHD. I didn't realize it was only for parents.
