- Quick little music video I made after the official lyrics for "Find the Flame" were released by Square Enix. This was my first time making a lyric video so I apologize to all video editors for my crimes against humanity here. XD

When you hear this for the first time, you think it’s Ifrit’s boss theme.
Then you get to the final boss and realize it was Clive’s.

I'm glad those who don't play FFXIV can finally enjoy my boy Soken's god tier musical talent, this is the same man who composed one of the single greatest boss fight themes while IN THE HOSPITAL FIGHTING CANCER BECAUSE HE WANTED TO. Dude's a fucking legend.

@@GlacierRain If it helps, so much of it can be done single player now and the first three parts of the story can be played entirely for free. FFXIV was my first and is my only MMO and it was so worth it, plus Soken's music is a masterpiece. If you want to enjoy the rest of it without delving into XIV, it's all over YT and on spotify.
This piece is so inspirational to me. Keep persisting through hardship until you find the “flame” That it will be a difficult journey yet it’s ok to cry. The hardship increases as you delve deeper but at the end there is the light at the end of the darkness

Clive is honestly becoming a huge inspiration for me in life. Dudes an absolute beast with a good heart. And he beats himself up sometimes like anyone else. Very relatable.
This whole fight in the game gave me goosebumps. Truly amazing. And when Clive said „You’re not the Ifrit. I am.“ I was smiling like an idiot. And after beating the game, I can say XVI’s become one of my TOP 3 FF games.

As somebody that has loved Uematsu's works in the past 25 years, I find that this is, hands down, one of the most epic themes ever realized for a FF. Soken is simply amazing.

I totally understand that feeling. It is a massive pet peeve of mine in other lyrical videos.
I didn't know this song had real lyrics I though it's just imitating Latin or something. But know that I read them and that I can actually hear them. The cool factor of this sound track raises from 100 to 1000000
Funny enough most of the tracks have actual lyrics and they all fit so good with the theme 🙌🙌 im glad people uploaded them with the lyrics too
When you decide to do an extra set of reps at the gym, this song helps 😅. Especially when you hear, "dig, dig, dig deeper."
This song is going to become an all time FF tune that gets perennially ranked in top ten lists.
This one and "Away" are definitely of that caliber.
So THAT'S what they've been saying all this time! >o< I kept on thinking that it was being sang in like gibberish, or ancient native language as I was listening to this, but seeing the actual lyrics makes a whole of sense now. Thanks for posting this of it. ^^

When I arrived at this part I started crying, my body could not handle the epicness. Unbelievable moment, easily an all timer in gaming.
This is what ive always adored about JRPGs. The feeling of awe inspiring grandeur.

And i thought souls-borne-ring had a great soundtrack. This game is top teir for that alone. Find the flame is a masterpeice. 0:22 hits me every time.

As someone who doesn't come from an English-speaking country, at first I thought the lyrics were nothing more than random gibberish and I consider myself good at English too. I still loved the song despite that, but now? Seeing what they actually are is just... amazing. I'm so glad I came across this video. Not only my appreciation for FFXVI has grown even more significantly, I can safely say that this game receives my vote for GOTY, even after playing Baldur's Gate 3.

Coming from a fan who grew up playing Final Fantasy since FFIV, I may not agree with Yoshi-P's vision for the future of Final Fantasy, but I can't lie that my heart isn't moved by FXVI's songs. Final Fantasy songs are just amazing, no matter who's behind the scores. I haven't even played FFXVI and I am so moved to tear just purely by the songs alone. God, I really want to like FFXVI! But I hate when something changes drastically that it’s a shell of its original self. Once again, FXVI's songs make me want to like the game.

You may not like it due to the game mechanic drastic change to dmc style because they wanted to bring in new players, and they definitely did because im one of the new players to ff series, and I love this game for what it is.
What a goated ost, Soken did a wonderful job for the whole game 👏👏

Soken this is a different game you don't really have to use a similar soundfont to ffxiv.

Music was great.
Cinematic Eikon fights were great.
Overall story was extremely predictable.
General battles were mediocre.
Character customisation was minimal if not straight up nonexistent.
DMC-ish battle mechanics was half-assed at best.
Definitely didn't warrant a second playthrough, which meant getting the ultimate weapon meaningless as the player likely have gotten immensely overpowered upon gaining access to Odin and Shiva.
I enjoyed this one, but I just know that I only can play it once and it would be enough.
Definitely a let down for me with regards to being a Final Fantasy.
Usually i find english lyrics to mismatch the tone of this sort of epic music but it turns out i was just completely wrong. I was floored when i realized the lyrics were in a language i could understand and whats more, they were good! Find the flame.theflame.theflamefiiind --
