It is a 5-star hotel and I will show you the room, whereas Jash will take you on a tour around this beautiful place. Established in 1840- initially as a bakery by David Wilson.

Great Eastern was one of the 1st and finest 5 star Hotels in Asia established in the mid 1800s.. It was called the Savoy of the East .. Jewel of the East .. and many more
Mark Twain .. Rudyard Kipling .. Queen Elizabeth.. Nikita Khuruschev .. And many other world famous celebrities put up in this Hotel when they came to Kolkata

@@AgnesMann My name is So'ham. I work there, at Calcutta High Court. And no, when you're in Kolkata, just like Mumbai or more so, you have to try the famous food walks. Just opposite to your hotel is a small street named Deccer's lane. You should try the fish fry there. This isn't the first time on your channel. I recently started to binge watch your channel on my breaks and free time.

World-class basterd hotel . I suggest you never go to that hotel again. I was the ex trainee of that hotel. After that i switch my career to IT industry , and now i a very happy.
And also they make the food in a very unhygienic way. You guys are not aware of the back area of the kitchen its very very unhygienic. And aslo the senior staff treat the trainee in a very bad way they hardly gave week-off and the shift time for the trainee and junior staff is more than 13hr every day.
Now, it's up to you whether you believe me or not.
We will not visit kolkata branch as its we not quite up to 5 star quality

We paid ₹7000 per night per room. There are different categories so depending which one you pick and at what seasons (seasonal deals happen too)
