- In this video join me as I attempt to make some clay pots and pans. This is my first attempt at pottery wheel and I am pleased with my initial attempt but it is a skill to be learnt before I can make some clay pots for Pongal festival. Shaping the clay while the wheel is spinning is definitely an unique experience.

Hi Steffi, first step is to centre the clay... Do it with both your palms so that the clay rotates in symmetry. That will take few days of practice... Wishing you all d best for your new hobby.
You can use gas stove and idukki for heating the clay process gas has high flame
