I'd feel it would be a breath of fresh air for _MLP_ if the Alicorns aren't just a reskin of the other Three Tribes from a cultural sense; instead of just having the Alicorns being just "a Pegasus with a Horn" or "a Unicorn with Wings", the Alicorns or _"Alikrolmn"_ in their tongue are completely alien in-appearance to build into the image of the other Three Tribes long ago having viewed them as Monsters to kill: an extra pair of eyes, multiple-jointed wings, carnivorous teeth, three horns on their heads, or even a set of Centaur-like arms: make the Alicorns seem more like *Biblical* Angels instead of Angelic Angels. That the Alicorn Tribe is neither a Unicorn Kingdom or a group of Pegasus Warriors or an association of Earth Pony Farmers; but distinctly an actual Tribal Society where the Alicorns are all split into a number of smaller Clans with their own beliefs and customs that are mainly rooted in Shamanism and a prevalent Hunter Culture. And that instead of these Alicorns being seen as a greater good to look up to; they are actually intolerant towards the other Three Tribes because of bad blood in the distant and ancient past: in a time where The Three Tribes had actually *HUNTED* The Alicorns by viewing their tribe as Monsters to kill either to seek Glory (Pegasus), gain Immortality (Unicorns), or just for the sake of Blood Purity (Earth Ponies); and that because of this the Alicorn Tribe developed in complete seclusion of the other Three Tribes and view the usage of Magic to fight their opponents as a weakness, instead placing value in ones' own Martial Talents and Ability to decide their battles through the usage of physical weapons like Spears, Bows, Daggers, Axes, Swords, Hammers, etc.
And I really hope they don’t pull a Griffinstone because Twi said how great and ancient the griffins were, but when we were actually shown them The whole town was “a total dump” as quoted from pinkie

Sometimes it seems that American writers want to be unpredictable to the point of absurdity, even at the expense of their own works.

I wouldn't be surprised how the three races are gonna react if there is an alicorn civilization. You saw how they all reacted when there were magical mishaps and dragons. Sad to see ponies haven't changed from their usual survival routine of running away from things.
I can't wait to explore and journey to Skyros with the G5 crew, this plot has a lot of interesting stuff that can really impact the story in a big way. I understand that Hasbro doesn’t have that much access to the ladder five seasons of G4, but could they’ve not completely contradict what was established in the season six premiere? And for those of you who say “But they said that they’ve never seen an Alicorn born IN Equestria.” Why would it be so shocking to the sisters if they supposedly were born Alicorns into Alicorn parents too? How is that any different from Cadence and Flurry Heart? But if you wanna ignore that part, that still doesn’t take away the major issue that Skyros apparently was around all this time and was never mentioned. I could by that it was a thing that was eventually lost to time, but you’re telling me it always existed?! Why didn’t Celestia tell Luna to go there instead of the Hypoogriffs in the 2017 movie? We don't know how Twilight defeated Opaline, but we now know that Opaline was able to escape, so desperate measures that Spike calls "the plan" had become a necessity. This was a very turbulent time that may have affected the entire world, and that Skyros could not ignore, even though Opaline came from their home. We don't know how Spike learned about Skyros, but it appears that he did not hold these alicorns in high regard, possibly because Twilight may have been forced to pay a high price. When the magic later disappeared - it is heavily implied that it is because "the guardians" had simply forgotten to put the crystals together and went their separate ways - (quite childish, if you ask me!) - this should concern Skyros. Although there are signs that the alicorn magic is not affected, Opaline maintaining her immortality, the disappearance of pony magic should have caused great concern, the alicorns are also ponies. Skyros hadn't given a signal in maybe two thousand years ever since Discord invaded Equestria. Where were the alicorns all that time? Maybe they stayed away as seen with the princess ponies in G1 to allow the other ponies to live in peace in good times and bad. Still, this could not explain why they were absent when Equestria - and the rest of the world - experienced disasters. Even when one of these disasters came from their own homes.
Option 3: Skyros turns out to be a false lead entirely, a dark period of Pre-Equestria when Alicorns weren't seen as Divine, but as Monsters to kill and butcher any Alicorns they could get their hooves on for whatever reason: with a name like Skyros indicating that it was created by the Pegasi, likely as a hunting ground for them to take untrained Alicorns and hunt them for sport and glory; at least until the arrival of Gusty the Great who would eradicate the hunters and send the Alicorns off to safety leaving behind tattered ruins of Skyros which overtime would have slowly evolved due to cultural drift until the original identity is long faded into myth.
Based off of what we do know from the series continue also be possible that Skyrim isn't in Equestria kind of like the human world is in a different reality Amazon thing I can think of to compare it to is Camelot from King Arthur's legend where is technically in the mortal world in the fact that at that time people could go there it was there but is also technically in a different reality the fairy world at least if I'm not getting my mythologies mixed up I could be wrong
G5 had dropped the ball too many times for me to care about its lore since they already mucked up with many inconsistencies with G4 and even within its own continuity.
Can we talk about how in Tirek's debut, the alicorns all transfer their magic to Twilight, to hide it from Tirek, as he didn't know she existed yet, but Tirek is thousands of years old, wouldn't he have also not known Cadance? In a flashback, she's a few years older than Twilight, so Tirek had no way of knowing of her either, right?

You should check out the first special, because it fixes most of the issues certain MLP fans have been vocally complaining about in TYT. Even those who are normally critical toward G5 as a whole have been praising the special.
i had an idea just listen to this 'sunny and the squad locate and go to skyros and see it is in ruins and has 4 statues representing celestia , loona ,caydance and twiligth they recognise twiligth and try to figure out how did this place fall to ruin if the people of skyros khew about these 4 powerfull alicorns lets say that izzy tries to look for a place for them to chill out and think about everything intil she sees a dungeon door when the rest comes and asks wth was hapening around here they hear weird noises from the doors so they open them up trying to figure out wth that was and then weird beings un khown to equestria ever beak out all laugthing maniaclly and then 2 leading creatures show up a demon of pure terror and GROGAR grogar after re awakening sayes something like "i khew this stupid alicorn couldnt keep us in this stupid prison forever after all she was barelly alive after she went and fougth me" explaining how did twiligth lose to opaline it was beacause grogar left her on 1hp and then it would make sense that opaline would have it easier to win if twiligth was still recovering then grogar sends his army of demons and his general to cause chaos on equastria to regain controll over it making him able to have all the power in both equwstria and skyros'

I know it sounds dumb and VERY UNLIKELY...but..hear me out lol What if Twilight moved to Skyros after the situation with opaline recking her rein of harmony and magic gone. Alicorns seemingly have long life spans. As for the crystal enpire I think that because the crystal heart is a magical relic that it should be fine. They just isolated themselves from the outside world. Or an alternate darker theory the Crystal heart ran out of magic the enpire got wrecked by the northern weather and that's how we ended up with starlight ridge. Maybe. Who knows so many questions we all want awmsers to.
Why didn't Skyros do anything when magic returned or Opaline was causing havoc? Simple, Equestria is "over there". and "over there" needs to deal with it's own issues.
TYT has been decent for a while, even before Season 2 started. And considering that it's going to be the main G5 show from now on, it makes sense that they would pick up where MYM left off.

G5 had dropped the ball too many times for me to care about its lore since they already mucked up with many inconsistencies with G4 and even within its own continuity.
Can we talk about how in Tirek's debut, the alicorns all transfer their magic to Twilight, to hide it from Tirek, as he didn't know she existed yet, but Tirek is thousands of years old, wouldn't he have also not known Cadance? In a flashback, she's a few years older than Twilight, so Tirek had no way of knowing of her either, right?
Cadance wasn't born when Celestia and Luna imprisoned Tirek in Tartarus.

Aw man, every episode of TYT has been confusing and insulting ever since they spoiled the ending of MYM. Even Misty I'm losing interest in. You should check out the first special, because it fixes most of the issues certain MLP fans have been vocally complaining about in TYT. Even those who are normally critical toward G5 as a whole have been praising the special.

they recognise twiligth and try to figure out how did this place fall to ruin if the people of skyros khew about these 4 powerfull alicorns
lets say that izzy tries to look for a place for them to chill out and think about everything intil she sees a dungeon door
when the rest comes and asks wth was hapening around here they hear weird noises from the doors so they open them up trying to figure out wth that was
and then weird beings un khown to equestria ever beak out all laugthing maniaclly and then 2 leading creatures show up a demon of pure terror and GROGAR
grogar after re awakening sayes something like "i khew this stupid alicorn couldnt keep us in this stupid prison forever after all she was barelly alive after she went and fougth me"
explaining how did twiligth lose to opaline it was beacause grogar left her on 1hp and then it would make sense that opaline would have it easier to win if twiligth was still recovering
then grogar sends his army of demons and his general to cause chaos on equastria to regain controll over it making him able to have all the power in both equwstria and skyros'
Maybe skyross wants to stay hidden because it has amazing strong magic.

I found it very shallow that Sunny suddenly cares about what she is, especially since she's not a REAL Alicorn. Like, does she really need some validation from a tapestry?? 🤦♂

What if Twilight moved to Skyros after the situation with opaline recking her rein of harmony and magic gone.
Alicorns seemingly have long life spans. As for the crystal enpire I think that because the crystal heart is a magical relic that it should be fine. They just isolated themselves from the outside world. Or an alternate darker theory the Crystal heart ran out of magic the enpire got wrecked by the northern weather and that's how we ended up with starlight ridge. Maybe. Who knows so many questions we all want awmsers to.
Why didn't Skyros do anything when magic returned or Opaline was causing havoc? Simple, Equestria is "over there". and "over there" needs to deal with it's own issues.

I can't believe it. G5 is finally not sucking? Maybe the writers of TYT are picking up the ball where MYM's writers dropped it.
TYT has been decent for a while, even before Season 2 started. And considering that it's going to be the main G5 show from now on, it makes sense that they would pick up where MYM left off.
