Mc Allister's shirking of his duties on that occasion effectively cost him any chance he may have had of refereeing the final. But since then he's given one or two red cards that were harsh. It's almost as though he was trying to make up for his dereliction of duty in this mismatch.

+KK Cat Henry shefflin took 9 steps with the ball in his hand in the 2009 final and the ref who is an offaly man billed from cork gave a free in which he scored....maher should of got sent off that day there is no doubt about that but as I mentioned,every referee has an off day

He deserved at least 3 yellow cards before he should have seen Red but the first instance to me was the worst where he pulled one handed on Michael Rice as he swung high with no intention of getting the sliotar but purely aimed at the man, that was a red card and if the Ref had acted as he should, then the other 5 instances would not have happened.
I think you better learn the game of hurling. First instance clearly in slow motion for you he went for the ball. Eyes fixed on ball and if he even hit Rice was marginal

First incident: Seriously? A bad pull on Rice which costed him a year. Probably deserved a yellow card at least and would have got it if the ref got a better look. Possibly Red too. Second incident: Nothing too much, more mistimed than anything. Third incident: The helmet pull was worse but what Padraic did wasn't great either. Fourth incident: His heads gone judging by the pull and the scoreline but it probably would look like the TJ pull if he hit the guy. Fifth incident: The head is definitely gone and it is a ridiculous pull. Should have been a red card but the fact that his head is gone is probably why he stayed on the pitch.
+Aiden Fitzpatrick he is a great hurler and one of the most skillful of the current generation..yes he should of been sent off that day but tipp lost that day by a cricket score
And Tommy Walsh was a very clean hurler.
