I appreciate Brendan as a host jn General but in this interview with Sinead O'connor, he's totally out of his depth...she's so far ahead of him that it's borderline humiliating, though completely unintended from Sinead's stance.
It warms my heart that we see sinead as a light in this thread , it gives me hope in society , we know what's purer than ourselves and we don't attack it out of fear .

We’re faced with three minnows and Sinead. You can sense her frustration at not being understood, and at the docile compliance of the two women to her right. She is natural, honest, forthright and way ahead in her thinking. The woman is a legend.

sinead was shut down when she mentioned the children, she was trying to highlight issues and warn how children are being sexualised and how some are being made to look younger than they are and she was mentioning speedo files too but was shut down

Sinead comes across very Intelligent MashaAllah. She is concerned about the children who actually listen to the artists. She comes across as being against women being used as sex symbols and she even said herself that the three of them on the panel were half naked.so she agrees exactly what it is about. She is not at all a hypocrite.And here after years Sinead becomes a Muslim. The signs were clearly there that she would. Alhamdulillah. Seems Sinead O’Connor had a place on any panel for topical issues. Don’t know would she have liked to be. While controversial in her early days she would definitely have had a voice in Irish issues.

This man don’t like when Sinéad Shuhada starts speaking the truth facts.
The problem is that our societies teach us that we inherently aren’t good enough. People will go to the extent of self-harm if they believe it will help them. Having a beauty clinic with the argument that it’s better than going to an illegal back alley place, is just a solution of the kind to suggest that you’ll help them self-harm in a “responsible” way. A disinfected knife vs a dirty knife... Until societies as a whole become about truly empowering us, these things won’t change. Sometimes arguments are just upside down, they seem good on some level until you really think about it...
It's all corporations pushing sex. Fans are moved by musicians who sing through the heart and spirit. It's everyone's responsibility to uplift people Particularly if you're in the public eye.Today It's like the reverse and many people are getting fed up low form of addictions.

Everyone putting down the other two women ina conversation about sexism and when they themselves are talking about sexism they have expereinced and how it is for many woman to claim their power and autority and be taken seriously and then everyone here dissing them....oh the irony.One of these women in particular is an extremely vocal and a journalist and professional women and everyone is dismissing her...unbelievable really when this is exactly what people do play woman against woman.
I love Sinead and love seeing her talk on anything but this total resepct for Sinead whilst dissing these two other women when they are all on to talk about the same thing.
Great conversation though and this was before #Metoo when so much more about what women can expereince has come out and also in the music industry its not just about the oversexualisation too often of women and pressure to be sexy but also more is coming out about sexual assaults by often male dominated music industry working with much younger women very often.

I find it quite upsetting that Leah speaks in a way that only reinforces the stereotype despite her attempts to explain the 'psychological' process of why a woman or man wants to have cosmetic surgery. Ultimately it is about poor self esteem and that is a much deeper level. Not easily solved and I would agree that it helps some but I have seen too many people who continue to need to have yet another procedure because the root cause of their unhappiness is not dealt with. Or just acknowledged. And that she seems to recoil fro,m Sinead quite visibly is rather repugnant. Otherwise I liked the interview.
The contradiction is the amount of make-up she wearing, alone.
