- Time travel is possible. Though not in a way you've seen in the sci-fi movies. Retro motorcycles - they look like they've come from a time when the flower power was strong, but on the inside, they are as modern as the latest smartphone. Case-in-point, the 2022 Kawasaki Z650RS. It looks like the original Z650 from the 70s but has the same heart as the modern Ninja 650. Varun Painter finds out if the new Z650RS can teleport you back in time.

You guys review the motorcycles really great...all the information is been delivered perfectly but why don't you guys ever talk about after sales service, maintenance cost, how well the servicing is done...take collective feedback from customers from every brand so that it makes us easy to choose which motorcycle we should buy?
I am a Kawasaki owner myself and honestly its been okay so far. Nothing really that stands out
The liquid cooled engine and the fairly big radiator steal from the overall good look of the bike. Would have loved to see an old school air-cooled engine.

The z and rs collab or the old Z1 indicates the Z900RS , not this z650rs , they literally took the Chassis and placed the z650 engine into the z900rs chassis .
For me it's always the z900rs , unfortunately when they released this in india the price was 16lakhs ex showroom against the z900 price of 8.5 lakhs hence it didn't run well , the pricing was so stupid of the z900rs.

Is this bike available in India.
It’s high time Kawasaki must ditch the under belly exhaust and increase the ground clearance. I have a ninja 650 and every time I see a bumper my heart comes to my mouth. So Varun Ji please remove the city part from your statement.
Regarding the bike. To me it’s “ I also want to sell retro .. let’s put some pieces together “ wala approach.
All the skill in the world and still those Kawasaki designers and engineers could not figure out a decent place to mount the front number plate.

@@vroombk Also, this bike needs to be given a set of front USD forks, 30 mm higher GC and a single side exhaust. If they do that without increasing the price much, it will sell like hot cakes in India.

Best looking alloy I have ever seen, best color but that 125mm ground clearance means its just show piece. Seriously Kawasaki's entire lineup suffers from ground clearance. This isnt even a sports bike yet has same GC as Hayabusa.

Kawasaki must need to overhaul the design of the headlights & speedometer console ... they don’t go well with the looks . Just saying ..

Saree guard should be banned or atleast not mandatory from motorcycles above 100cc
