Depends where you live I think. I live in Buffalo New York and my Dad and I do it once a year after college kids get out of school for the semester. It’s not illegal to do it. My Dad and I happen to know a few officers and their completely fine with us doing it as long as we don’t litter and aren’t too loud. They said it’s technically not trespassing as other people do it too.
