- Today we run through the unboxing of the Terminator 2 T800 Battle Damaged Art Mask bust from PureArts Studio featuring the Exclusive Edition, only available at bit.ly/3dZ9icJ with very limited stock left. The T800 model 101 is the most iconic battle chassis in the entire Terminator franchise, originally played by Arnold Schwarzenegger, and PureArts brings this collectible to life. With extreme battle damaged details in the re-designed sculpt as well as a stunning LED system for a molten steel effect and optional glitching eye lens, this piece is a MUST HAVE for all Terminator collectors.
Limited to 800 units, the PureArts.com Exclusive Edition includes a screen-accurate prop replica of the 40mm M406 HE grenade round, used extensively with the M79 grenade launcher in Terminator 2 by the T-800. Each grenade is individually numbered - explosions not included.
At the time of filming, less than 100 units of the Exclusive Edition are left, so don't hesitate to pick one up while it's still available.

The price for a 1/1 bust is crazy good . I got mine and couldn't be happier, the lights are super cool.
It's unbelievable how you got accustomed to explain to grown ups simple facts, like the wires and one LED differences. Either the content is for kinds under 15 years old or.......you fill the gaps, so that not body feels offended lol.
I just stumbled upon one of these statues (the one without shell) for around 600USD and I wanted to see what does it look like and I have to say it's mind blowing.

I usually ONY try to get the exclusive pieces for my collection. It's fine, I LOVE the piece that I have, it's ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!
Annnnnd, I JUST now received this past week the T- 1000 TERMINATOR, FINALLY!
The new, reinforced packaging is a VERY , VERY nice added touch Pure Arts. I noticed it right away, and thought, WOW, this is great care in the product!
Then, I lifted that Styrofoam piece up, and I saw Robert Pattenson just starring back at me! With one eye of course, lol!
Words can't describe the details in him. He is an INCREDIBLE piece, I highly recommend if you love The TERMINATOR, or even just The T-1000, you MUST own this piece. The melting metal is beautiful. His police suit looks like real fabric! I csnt wait to get new display cases and havd fun organizing my collection! I currently have grown out of room to display them properly, so I'm having to do some reorganizing and purchasing, lol.

I buy things like this, but what's missing here is an AC adapter so it can be left on for extended periods. That's a big deal for some collectors. Otherwise it's a nice item.
There are battery packs that hook up directly to an AC adapter just for things like this. :)

just received a normal edition version and the base doesn't light up !! Mask lights up fine but nothing on the base and yes I'm trying the front skull switch. Any ideas please
Just got mine, and even though I love it, the faceplate on mine doesn’t light-up as much as I’ve seen in many videos including this one; what’s the reason? Is it normal or is faulty?

The production piece falls short of what we're shown in the marketing pictures. Bland, simplistic paint aps, even the hanging wires are more basic. You're not the only ones guilty of this practice, but seeing this in person was a let down.
The piece shown in this video is a production piece, it was pulled from the same inventory that ships to our clients. In fact, typically what we ship is exactly the opposite of what you're saying right now. Most of our finished products are in fact BETTER than our prototypes in terms of painting and finishing. We of course take very nice photos and spend hours and hours getting the great lighting and testing all kinds of pics from our selects etc. but we definitely don't pull any switcharoos. I am in the office today and I have both the prototype that was used for the product photos AND the production piece used in the unboxing and they are almost identical. @@PureArts I would have to agree with L.A.'s comment. I received my second battle damaged today #325 of 2029(had to return the first one as the lights didn't work) and I noticed a very rushed looking paint job that looked even worse once I had inserted the batteries. The base resin of the sculpture where the light shines through lacks color in allot of places and is really noticeable, especially if you compare it to the production stills on your website. Very tempted to return it to point of purchase and avoid any future Purearts products. Feel free to reply publicly here or via private message

This limited edition shit is really annoying, and so is the fact that you don’t sell prop pieces individually, and I’m not even into cosplay. Was way more interested in the non-damaged edition, but I guess that’s sold out, so... it’s a “No.” from me, until you release more.
Oh, and the other bonus (sarcasm) to releasing limited edition items is that scalpers just pick them up to resell them at astronomical prices. There’s one of the non-damaged T-800s on eBay right now for USD $999. That’s insanity. You need to stop encouraging scalpers so that actual fans can/will spend their money on your products.
This product was available for purchase for several months (the regular ones) and the battle damaged is also available but almost sold out. By keeping an eye on our social media or subscribing to our newsletter, everyone has more than enough time (usually months) to pick up a collectible before it sells out. These are also collectibles that we can't produce infinitely and indefinitely due to licensing agreements, hence why we and every other premium collectible company out there have edition sizes. Same goes for selling prop pieces, we are not licensed for prop pieces and was only granted authorization for the grenade replica because it was included with the art mask.
