I would absolutely love to see an updated version of this! Quite a few things have changed since two years ago and it’s very hard to find updated information on the summons. It would also be great to see an updated version of the baubles tier list. I do appreciate the effort you put in to these tier lists though cause these genuinely changed my entire RLCraft gameplay 1-2 years ago and I’m not sure if I would’ve gotten as far as I did in my play-throughs without it.

So Spectres vs flying dragons, banshees for grounded dragons, wraiths for grounded enemies, and grues for underwater combat. The summoning staff is even more busted than I thought, what the... It can do everything
You forgot to mention that you can use a bucket on a summoned jengu to get water and a summoned volcan to get lava. Also the grue inflicts blindness, the geken inflicts bleed, the manticore inflicts weakness, the wraith inflicts wither (would work well with viper sword), the sutiramu inflicts slowness, and the aglebemu inflicts poison (would work well with a poison stone and viper weapon). The pixen sometimes gives fall resistance so it can sometimes be good for falling from heights.
What other unique abilities do other summons have? I only ever knew about the spriggan being able to instantly grow crops, and now this about buckets being able to be used on jengu and volcan. I tried looking everywhere else and I was only ever able to find this information in this videos comment section.
I actually didn't consider that! Good point! geonachs are slow and can't actually catch a flying dragon, but if you can get them to attack a dragon on land, that extra security knowing it can't take off is very useful! I would say it is still not enough for S tier, but I didn't really think about that. You are right though
One thing you forogot to mension about the darklings is that they are extremely strong against gorogons because they deal damage even tho they are turned to stone

With the savage summoning staff, darklings are really good because of their life steal effect. In the lycanites dungeons it’s really nice. I killed a guardian dragon in pretty short time using them.
Darklings are actually S tier imo. if you get them onto a dragon or lycanite dungeon boss, they'll absolute shred them. i saw this in a Grippii video, and tested it a bit myself, but if you use a good enchanted lance on a mount, those darklings will hit like trucks. even better, bosses and even dragons cant attack those darklings, giving you an easy kill. long story short IF you can get the darklings onto something, they'll shred them.
@@plumbing7940 that's tru, i forgot about the nerf to rapiers. but still, lances do give a 3x damage boost whilst on a mount, so they're still fairly viable. either way, darklings are still absolutely incredible summons, as mobs cant hit them.
Awesome list! I believe the argus and the wraith should be lower on the list. Argus are very hard to hit your enemies because of the randomness of their shots, plus they fly high in the air for no reason which further makes it harder to target enemies... Wraith have low hp, and they create explosions, and anything that creates explosions is not appreciated imo because: a) MY HOOOME! I believe darklings have to atleast be A tier/the best ground summon because 1: they latch onto enemies which makes them almost impossible to hit. 2: they are EXTREMELY fast compared to the jabberwock and even if they do low damage, with a good weapons in hand they demolish hordes. Simply putting 1-2 can clear an entire dungeon room. 3: any mob that doesn't do splash damage can't hit them if they latch on. 4: they're very small which means if you just put a hole in a wall where there's alot of mobs behind will make them pass through and kill everything they see. Which makes them The Best ground summon for hordes and even bosses. I was able to kill a tier 3 dragon with only them one time once they latched on to it, alongside alot of other bosses the only boss they died to on my playthrough was the malevolent observer.
dope video but to be honest putting the nymph in C tier despite it not being even slightly intended as a combat summon is pretty strange, you even said you'd put it in S tier otherwise. I think its worth making an exception or otherwise changing the title to be specifically about combat, cause no way in hell is the nymph in C tier lol
I love spriggans. I set up a spawner setup for them near my crops for their insane crop growth passive. Easy early game exp even if you only have a summon staff.
@@albinocake if you set up 2 spawners, one summoning jengus and the other summoning geonachs, your crops will grow super fast. Forgot what the block is called. You select a mob and feed it fuel

They are a bit better, but still not meta defining, especially since the armor that gives the magic buffs are not worth using (generally) over silver armor
By being close to the mobs out in the world your bestiary will automatically update and it will say "You have obtained knowledge rank 1 of " if you want rank 2 to summon the mob varients, than you need to right click the mob with a soulstone or defeat enough of them and then your bestiary will update
Surprised you didn't put darkling S rank to be honest. It's super OP. I don't know why the clip you showed had them killing everything so slowly, mine virtually one shot everything.
I've gotta say I love and hate the archvile Love it cuz it has a fair wide fire attack which helps me alot Hate it cuz it also involves me with the attack radius Not to mention I'm not that strong yet and have no fire resistant items

Forget dragons,nothing makes my palms sweaty like being attacked by blight keppel banshee while my dark aegis run around and can't even touch it.The banshee dropped 37 levels of xp.I was at 5xp but that is op too lucky my spawn was set close.All of it happening in a dark mushroom forest.The worst biome to be in rlcraft except the nether.
Any chance unmountable pets that arent summons will be on a list eventually? I.E. chupacabras and dawons? idk if theres anything else but i use chupacabras a lot and they are insane
I have been considering making a pets video, but it would be rather short as there are not many useful pets, so I have scrapped the idea for now. Chupracabras are the most interesting though, as they can be very strong and fast pets that are small so they can assist you in many situations with ease
@@CasualtyYT I just them all the time, and just at low levels, they hit hard and i think they have a built in leeching effect so they never really fall low on health if they keep fighting. just from my observations. others that cant be ridden are dawons, most imps, and quillbeasts, tho quill beasts are a little underwhelming, but they all make for good pack mules. the ridable land mounts with 4 summon costs hold the most items tho i think.

Imo Aegis have to be in the S tier due to how easy it is to gain knowledge on, how practical it is to use and the cheap cost to summon.

I had been using a wraith before this video but now I am going to use sceptre this actually did help me

1:25 I miss the old summoning staff, having to kill 40 mobs just to summon them is too harsh
Make a few soulgazers, each use gives you 100 exp, and you need 1000 to unlock it.

The best 2 bios to fight dragons are: Darkling's cuz they will stick on Dragon even when he flies/ Cockatrice paralysis the dragon

My summons never attack dragons, even when they're set to aggresive wander and they're right next to the dragon. What could be the cause of this?
I fixed the problem, i just have to attack the dragon with a bow or spawn my minions inside the dragon

It seems that summons scaling off of the melee weapon was patched. The summons don't do any damage.

I was hatching a dragon at thee top of a battle tower and a djinn made me float and it made the egg despawn and now I hate them.

The savage summoning Staff is mostly better because it gives u ur summon x2 but with half health. It’s mid to endgame though cus u need ghast tears

Put them on aggressive
aggresive is good but be aware it can aggro endermen you wouldnt want to otherwise who will often teleport to you ignoring the summon

If I remember correctly they spawn in savanna and can be hatched by throwing a rotten egg too (chicken have the % of lay one of those eggs) =)
