Pliny (Pline) the Younger is the Roman author who provided us with one of the most accurate description of the Vesuvius eruption, which destroyed Pompeii in autumn of year 79 AD. His uncle, Pliny the Elder, was killed by that eruption. I'm guessing the artwork is him staring at the ash covered ruins, blazing still under a distant, strangely cold sunset. Breathtaking album. The music tells a beautiful story, to me it expresses the tired rage of loss, of having survived to the present and remembering all the light and joy that hasn't survived this world. Trying to find your place after such loss, and the massive burden of being a vessel and champion of the past. Thank you for uploading this

This album is so freaking amazing… It is calming yet exciting, serene but energetic. This also has some Bruce falconer of DBZ vibes. Funny enough, Historia Naturalis builds up to point where it feels like there was a battle that took place and Goku is ready to use the spirit bomb on you and in my imagination, this takes place at 43:55
