raymond rusli Whenever I hear songs like this I think of Christmas because of Michael buble 😂 It’s such a warm sound. The crooners always sound so kind and gentlemanly I don’t know how else to describe it
These performances took me back to yesteryear when i was just kid and my parent's records spinning legendary voices on the Emerson stereo turntable...Thank you!!!!!!!!!!! Every performer I'd pay to see.
Still doesn't seem to be crooning to me. He slides the notes in the last word of each line, but its pretty percussive beyond that. I wouldn't have it here.
3:28 is the beginning of the the best real crooner of this set! The smoothness, the cadence, the smoky voice, the visual poise! This woman is the real deal!!
1. women can't be crooners, it' in the definition of thee word 2. this is simply a slow flapper girl song, 3. doesn't belong here 4. everyone now feels the need to include women, even in all male things. 5. why? because, like children, they get upset.
@@shakaama uh incel vibes there? Dk where u got your exclusive definition of crooning from but the dictionary definition is 'hum or sing in a soft, low voice, especially in a sentimental manner' which women can definitely do. It's one thing to say primarily male singers do it but ure real triggered by someone praising a random lady
@@shakaama go back to reddit. This song isnt just a "slow flapper girl" song it's a song from the great american songbook era most famously performed by louis armstrong and ella fitzgerald. Of course i don't expect you to know that since you clearly know jackshit about vocal jazz
You might also want to include Bob Blakeley from The Voice UK Blind Audition of Cry Me a River. No turns, but he was offered a recording contract the day after the show aired on live TV - BBC's Breakfast programme.

Gee. First contestant, at the 00:30 mark. "Just thinking of you" the autotune is so apparent between "thinking" and "of", harder to hide in a croon, I suppose. (You can hear it over the entire tone of the voice, but yeah damn.) Sticking around because I still want to see if anyone does Body And Soul...
Ive noticed that The Voice really touches up the audition songs. They seem to edit the following rounds a lot less. Im guessing its because the auditions are what gets people to watch the rest of the season, or at least get the most youtube views
@@opalcitrine Just makes it way less of a blind audition. It's blind, and also you can't even hear them properly, just makes the whole thing more fake... this was my other comment on this vid: Listen, 5:18 - "In other words, baby kiss me". "Me" is a little bit sharp, still sounds infinitely better than the autotune in the first clip. It's human, emotional. Anyone not convinced, click back and forth from 00:30 and 5:18, the former is distinctively more robotic. You can obviously hear the singer's real voice too, it isn't all auto-tune, but that sound is super present, nonetheless... Looks like they do things differently in Croatia.

Oh so that's what that type of singer is called, crooners! The people I wanna beat to death in a blind blood-crazed raving mad rage with my bare hands are called crooners.
Well to be fair, a lot of people sound alike when the sing/speak. They can’t completely control if they sound like other singers. For example Mac Martell sounds a lot like Freddie mercury and people kept telling him that. That’s how he started going into Freddie Mercury covers and even sang in the movie Bohemian Rhapsody, as Freddie Mercury. People are bound to sound alike.
That first kid has such a naturally smooth low voice, it's kind of crazy to see him sing so stiffly and see that voice come from him
Did you see Frank dancing around no because its apart of that sound why ruin it
Reminds me a ton of buble, I really liked the way he sang
@@jppage3292 Nah. lol. Dude has got talent. Still "thousands" compared to billions, still extremely impressive.

THE FIRST GUY WAS AMAZING AND SO HANDSOME I LITERALLY LOVE HOW VINTAGE HE WAS 🤩🤩

true but i think its more the style of singing then the song

cause they were starving artists lol
