I start school next month for IT Mobile Applications I’m nervous and excited at the same time since this will be my first time! Definitely will be checking out your content for tips and tricks! 👍🏾
My goal is to make my first few apps which will look good on resume, and then do a hybrid of freelancing online (work from home) and managing my own small indie apps.
Bro your videos are above perfection, I appreciate you taking the time to be as detailed as possible. Without your channel I will be lost in my Devry class. Thanks bro 💪🏾 oh can I suggest your name in my videos when I start doing my script code videos?
great video! thx! i’m in my 40s and looking to completely change my career. i did sales for many years but now looking to get into software development or ios app development. is it quite realistic to find remote work in this field? and do you think this industry could be flooded and difficult to get into/find work? And what is your take for the future for this career in ios app development? the next decade for example
Hello Chris. Could you make a tutorial on how to add the in-app purchase feature in SwiftUI using Store Kit 2? All the tutorials I found online are outdated. It is a very common feature but there aren't many tutorials about it. If you make one, it'd be very helpful to a lot of ppl.
Hey there! You may post your tutorial recommendations here: app.productstash.io/codewithchris#/ideas and we'll have our team take a look. :) Thank you! - Pat
Dear Chris, I used to join learning program with Codecrew for 3 months and found that very useful to learn with you for iOS app. Besides, would you please recommend for other firm providing learning for Android similar yours.
Hey Chirs, can you make a video about step by step how to become an ios developer in 2022... and i've just started to learn ios for a few days, should i learn swiftUi or uikit?
Hi! You can send tutorial recommendations here app.productstash.io/codewithchris#/ideas If you have any questions, you can post them on our CodeCrew forum codecrew.codewithchris.com and have our tech support staff help you out. - Pat
If you are in the US, the biggest different between being a freelancer or an employee is that as a freelancer, you don't have healthcare. You'll also have to find your own client, create your own contracts, charge your own prices etc.... bigger risks but bigger rewards too. Maybe start as an employee, then freelance on the side until you can make it full time. The world NEEDS more and more developers, iOS included! Just do what you love, don't go for the "money" or you'll burn out/give up before you reach your goal. @AdrienVillez
This video convinced me to try app development again. I had deleted Xcode from my MacBook Pro so I opened the App Store to reinstall it. I have 40 GB free space but the app will not install. The install failed a couple of times and the third time is not a charm. It’s about 40% through and not progressing. TOTAL FAIL!
Hey there! If you have any questions, you can post them on our CodeCrew forum codecrew.codewithchris.com and have our tech support staff help you out. :) - Pat

I only have one question, because I’ve been getting conflicting information all across-the-board, what is the best hardware to use. I really want to stay with Apple, I don’t really want to buy all these extra things, so do you have any recommendations as to what kind of hardware would support building your own abs and maintaining them. I get the software Swift Xcode and Swift uI, but nobody’s ever saying what kind of hardware we would need.😊

If you want to make iOS/macOS/iPadOS/watchOS/tvOS apps, it's simple. You need a Mac. Any kind of Mac. The M1 is amazing, the M2 now too. A MacBook Air will do, a Mac Mini works fine too... you just can't get Xcode on Windows. (or you need a virtual machine etc etc... but it's more work and trouble) @AdrienVillez

One suggestion for you. List the apps built by your students that have been successfully submitted to the Apple Store on your site.

Nowadays it is not easy to successfully submit your first app to the Apple Store due to privacy issue.
