This video is gold for everyone looking to understand how to build and launch an app! I got a lot of references and tools to deep dive into them. Thank you so much Aivars for those amazing lessons. 🚀
Aivars, I can't thank you enough for the things you give us for free. First the notion template which I use everywhere, and now this video as a complete guide!
About your scuba diving app, I think it's a good idea but I don't know if you did research about the hardware capabilities ? will the apple watch support such high pressure under water ?
Apple Watch at least ultra supports dives up to certain meters. There are many diving apps so certainly you can dive with it, it is the best diving option probably not.
Hi, can you do a video about Kotlin Multiplatform and how iOS developers can benefit from it? what I like about it is that it gives you choice to build UI natively or writing UI once. Additionally, it can access native APIs on iOS and android , so if third-party code is not available, you can write your own native code. Also, Swift to Kotlin interoperability is coming
By Kotlin Swift interoperability, I mean calling Swift codebase from Kotlin and vice versa. However, note that Kotlin doesn't directly interact with Swift. It uses Objective-C as a bridge. But work is in progress, and they work on enabling direct interoperability in the future
I'm not an expert in Kotlin Multiplatform and I do focus more on the business side in my content, therefore unlikely. But I'm keeping and eye on KMP to see if I want to start using it.
I have started doing app development as a hobby after I found a need for me as I got tired of trying to use excel. Question do you buy your own apps or use promo codes?
What do you prefer for your own projects Figma or Sketch? I was thinking to give Sketch a try. I don't really care for the collaboration and of course I use macOS for development.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I actually don't have a problem with ideas thankfully but it feels like everything i think of requires backend services that would destroy me if explosive growth occurs. I will definitely go the mvp route its going to be a rollercoaster as i can already feel some ideas will be going in the bin as i write this. Thank you so much for sharing this. I have been going the progressive web app approach, but i think I might reconsider and try something new.
@@jw200 maybe it's just not for you. Instead, try to find someone with a good idea and be an engineer building it. That way you can also be a part of creating a startup.
@@jw200 I felt like this too a long time ago, but i just try to think of what problems people have and if an application can help solve it, in most cases its my own problems I want to solve as he said in the video too.
Are you happy with your Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones? I’m wondering whether to buy the Sonys or the Apple AirPods Max. I've heard that the Sony headphones have issues with breaking headbands near the speakers.
Thanks for the video! I'm starting to monetize my first app and am trying to figure out what framework iOS devs usually use for in-app tips/roughly how much revenue that would bring it. Any insight would be appreciated.
In-App tips are not great for general monetisation. Do the proper paywall to get decent revenue. For framework, you can use Apple Store Kit, that is simple in-app purchase to generate a tip transaction

Yeah, starting from that blank page is hard.

Glad you like them!
Where can I access the notion template ?
If you build something that you use yourself, it isn't a failure.
Sure, I agree with you, but that is not a financial success ;)
But sometimes it's need only you, but market dont need that
So this is that video you were talking about. Will check it out later. ;)
Yep, ~45 min long. Took a while to export.
Great job, thank you so much 🥂
Thank you! I will watch it after work :) Looks very promising
Hope you like it!
this is a gem, thank you!! made me optimistic :)
Glad I could help!
Amazing insight!
You've inspired me a long time ago to pursue solopreneurship. Taking notes and will test these theories out!
Best of luck!
It's a super informative video, thanks for sharing it!

Sure! If you have followers, you still should do marketing for them. So it is a must in any case.

I have started doing app development as a hobby after I found a need for me as I got tired of trying to use excel. Question do you buy your own apps or use promo codes?
I"m using promo codes. What is the point of giving Apple money and paying income tax on my own apps? :)

Sony is totally better, but apple looks cool(depends on your location tho, where i am you’d look like a show off dork with airpods)
Thank you 🙏🏻

Hi Aivars, have you ever used Apple Search Ads? if so, what do you think about?
Not yet. I'm planning to use them for the next app to prepare a workshop about them for someday later.

But Why are you don't explore such a big markets like Google Play?
Because most of the Android users don't like to pay for Apps.
Is only a big market because is mostly opened basically any schmuck can submit an app to the store and there’s tons of competition with free apps.
mabey you help is what I need. Or mabey i must more code to become better developer first
Practice never hurts
But what if I am watching this video on the phone sir ?
Can you add more content to your question, I have a hard time answering it.
"Put your phone aside" I am watching on my phone 😢
