Brother Storm is far better than Sparking Zero and it doesnt have the issues Sparking Zero have, so thats the opposite, if Sparking Zero actually locked in well the story mode would be good as well as the online which was fixed long ago in Connections

If you think that then you dont play the game at all, because support Can also get countered easily.. Also Connections has the counters, subs, support protection( tho you Can counter that), and Sparking Zero IS litterally just a vanish and sidestep fest

Man with storm connections… they added on top of the gameplay/ content that was in all the past games.. with sparking zero it just seems emptier and missing content from the old games
The one thing I will say about Storm is that even though its also an arena fighter, it feels like it has greater player expression that SZ, even though not by much, which is weird because SZ has more character types. I feel like there was more of a variation of playstyles.
Connections took so much out the OG strom. They took out a combo. They took out tilts which i liked using and never put running on walls like they said. Connections is so bad its the only Storm I haven't bought.

Sparking needs alot more polish. Connections definitely has counters to certain options. Sparking has counters but sometimes it doesn't mean anything because you have Z counter and if you slip up then perception.
Its really not, Overall Storm games are far better than Sparking Zero, including the gameplay.. Sparking Zero doesnt have content, shitty story,shitty creation mode that takes forever and trash online

Pre patch sparking zero couldnt be fucked with. All they had to do was fix the android free dragon dashing. We found the counters to everything else at that point

With every cheese strat i've heard me and my friend found a way around it, it's not that hard. SZ Gives you way to much freedom in its combat to let something be a one n done. This ain't a 2D fighter you can always fight back. Story, SZ built up to be an online combative experience. if you wanted ANOTHER story driven game go play Kakarot. Too many people for too long talked about how they were tired of seeing the same re-released story, so they give us an abridged version, and yall wanna complain. i will say, as someone that played storm most of my life- storm is better than sparking zero, at least in terms of enjoyability. the player base is infinitely less toxic and the gameplay is more balanced. in storm i can lose a match and it’ll because my opponent outmatched me, sparking doesn’t reward you for being the better player
