What a beautiful reflection on your time in this quiet corner of Wales. It sounds like the place has woven itself into the fabric of your lives, offering both peace and perspective amid the challenges you've faced. There’s a timelessness to this lifestyle-finding joy in the simplicity of slow mornings, meaningful conversations, and nature's rhythms. It’s lovely to hear how this environment has not only provided a sanctuary but has also strengthened your connection with each other. The image of finding crystals in the stream and returning them when their energy fades is so symbolic of the balance and harmony you seem to have found there. It’s a life that requires intention, where you make your own magic and find beauty in the wildness around you. Your reflections on the remoteness and the quiet growth you’ve experienced remind us all that sometimes, stripping away the distractions reveals what truly matters. (And remember… every time you click the ‘like’ button… an angel gets its wings.)
❤ love you video, so lovely and peaceful. Finding yourself and being comfortable with yourself in your 20s is so hard I found. 50s has brought an ease, and a slower rhythm of life, I wish I had found it younger like yourself. Thank you for sharing your lovely piece of the world ❤❤😊
It's a continuous journey I think, and one in which there are always sunny days and rainier ones, too. It sounds like you've earned your ease of being through experience, and that's surely something to be proud of! Thank you so very much for your lovely comment and for taking the time to watch my video ❤
Oh, Beth! This is beyond tranquillity. Just listening to the sounds of the water and the wind whistling through the trees was so calming! You really should make videos of these sounds for a relaxing playlist to the channel. And your bread skills #😱 So nice to hear you and Alex are well and succeeding in life's challenges. Much ❤
Thank you so much for your comment! I'm glad the stream's magic found its way through the screen to you. I'm just trying to find a good microphone, and then I'm going to make a peaceful meditation type video in the fairy stream :) Also thank you re:bread - it's Alex that has the skills really, I just followed orders! Take care and I hope you enjoy the fairy stream video when I upload it in the next few weeks! ❤
I love that you bring the stones back to the river, once their energy fades. Feels right to let them recharge and be where they belong :) love you videos btw, they are so peaceful.
P.S: I'm sorry the sound and voiceover is a little off in places in this video - my string of bad luck has continued with a broken laptop and microphone, so editing this was interesting!
Never you mind about apologizing for things beyond your control. Simply look for that hidden gift each “bad luck” incident presents you. I speak from experience although I’d been called a slow learner. Lovely vlog all the same ❤️
@@brendasorrelles3253 I love this - I've been journalling these past few months about what each mishap is teaching me! It really does re-frame everything. And I think the universe seems to repeat its lessons until we finally grasp them - I've been a slow learner too. Thank you for your comment ❤
I was born and raised in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne which in those days was like the bush. As I got older, the traffic and crowds drove me mad. So we moved to beautiful Castlemaine in central Victoria, 120kms north of Melbourne. It’s an old (for us) gold mining town with a lot of history. This is my soul home, I feel at peace here. The whole family moved here too, even my grandparents, and we discovered that great great grandfather was born here and was a jeweller in the main st. My son when he was 4 told me we had lived her before and pointed to an old cottage, and it turned out that our ancestor had indeed lived in that house, which then we weren’t aware of at all. Weird. So there has been a connection to this town for a long time, we just never knew it. I came here in 1989 when I was 28 and am now 64 and will leave here in a box. we are not as rural as you but we do have to deal with kangaroos driving to the supermarket only 4km away. I love it here so much ❤ You have the most beau and peaceful environment and it does do wonders for healing your soul, mine is just at peace here now.
Your happiness and serenity whilst at the stream is palpable, and I strongly agree with what you are saying, we definitely need some 'corners' that nurture our soul. I have a few paths, gardens, or area I love to walk through when in need of mental clarity, or simply to unwind and get in touch with myself. Lovely and inspiring video, as always! 🙂
I can’t get over how adorable Lupa is! 😭😍 This was a lovely way to spend my Sunday morning, sipping tea while witnessing your beautiful little corner of the world. ❤ You have such a calming energy, Beth. I’m so glad you’re making more videos!
Aww isn't she just?! Not many people (outside of these videos) get to see her calm and sleepy side, because she's such a nutter around others! So glad to have spent Sunday morning with you - I think the same about your lovely, calm energy Lizzy ❤
I go there most days and it really feels like fairies live there! Hoping to find a good microphone soon so that I can capture a bit more of it's magic to share in a meditation video here :) Thank you for watching!
Hello, beautiful video! I also live in West Wales, Carmarthenshire. In a rural village away from all the hustle and bustle. I absolutely love it. It’s a place of sanctuary. Your cottage is adorable. Enjoy the rest of the year. Xx

My mums family (I was born and lived there for 4 years) are from Pembrokeshire my dads Blaenavon I have not been back to Pembrokeshire since I was about 9yrs but did visit Blaenavon a few years ago. I also moved most of my life even after marrying but ended up here in Tasmania and now feel for the first time in years ver fifty years settled in my Welsh soul. I can't remember if I said or not in the video, but I call this stream 'The Fairy Stream'! It does feel so magical, I always feel like the fairies are letting me into their realm for a while. And thank you - it's always a work in progress, but I'm enjoying the challenge!❤
I’ve just come downstairs in our barn after meditation to find your meditation. Listening to the wind here in Pentregwenlais in Carmarthenshire I find your beautiful vlog. Thank you. A wind blown amazing day with wind, rain and sunshine…..
What a peaceful and lovely vlog. No one knows what the future really brings, so it is always important to enjoy the moment. I think that in a place without lots of people, we are more connected to everything: ourselves, nature, and even other people and other countries. Everything has a lesson in it. I really think that your surroundings are magnificent, so beautiful, calm, and also wild and harsh. I can see that you are doing a great job. Thank you for sharing your story...
Thank you for this comment, I really resonate with your words. There's definitely so much space for deep connection in a place like this, and not many distractions from the lessons either. I'm glad you enjoyed, and thank you for being here ❤
Thank you so much once again for the beautiful video. I had to watch it in parts because life 😢 Your videos are a safe haven for me, living in a bustling Johannesburg that never sleeps. May you, Alex, Lupa and (forgot the cat's name, sorry!) always remain blessed, wherever you may be😊
Your wisdom is wonderful at such a young age. We do learn from having to work through problems without the usual distractions of city life. But the growth within is worth the pain and struggles. I live in a country town and recently injured spine so had lots of time to dwell and face some harsh realities but i am now glad i went through this and was blessed with some beautiful supportive people who gave me hope for the future. ❤
Thank you! I hope your spine heals smoothly, and it's lovely that you've been able to find the blessings that came along with your injury - illnesses and injuries have a way of forcing us to see what's truly important, don't they? ❤
This video appeared on my feed this evening and I am so so glad it did. I’ve more or less binged watched your entire channel and already looking forward to the next video. Your content brings me such a sense of peace. Yes, through the lovely sounds and scenery of nature but also in the way you speak about your experiences. You seem so wise and honest. You explain things in such a beautiful way too. Things that I’m feeling and thinking but sometimes don’t feel I have the vocabulary to put into words. In a strange way I feel I’ve connected with you without even meeting you. I live just on the outskirts of Pembs so who knows, maybe one day fate will lead us to meet. Croeso i Gymru!
I have a 55inch tv in my lounge and only watched it for the first time in months for our Australian Bathurst car race, which I have always loved. No news, no morning shows anymore, nothing. And it’s more peaceful not hearing about the pain in the world. I have the internet and that does me just fine.
@@karenglenn6707 That is fully the way to do it. TV has had a negative agenda behind it, both programming and news for some time. That will change in the future.
What a wonderful Video! Thank you so, so much for sharing ❤ If I might give you a little tip: If you use Lavalier or any other microphone while recording yourself talking in nature, the clear sound will add so much more calmness and coziness to your video ❤ There is always potential to grow and I hope I don't offend you in any way. It's just an idea 🥰 Sending much love from the north of Sweden ❤
You have your husband and his family. I wish I had that too and could live in Wales tye way you do too. You are so lucky. Some people are so alone in life that they'd be completely by themselves if they go anywhere
I feel very fortunate to have them and I'm not sure I'd have been brave enough to move to somewhere like this without my boyfriend! I'm sure you'll find your people, hopefully sooner than you think ❤
Hi! I just went in to rewatch one of your older vids and it’s gone 😮 it was one of my favs for this time of year. Would you ever consider an unlisted playlist of your earlier vids?
