I find all sking devices intriguing, but only if they make a difference, and are reliable. I already use NEWA (radio frequency) and Myolift (microcurrent) for lifing and collagen stimulation. So I naturally wonder if Sound Waves are significantly better than what I'm already using. Also, you mention that it targets muscles at a bit over 2 inches. Would that even be necessary for our face? I'm new to this, so I sincerely would appreciate an answer about this technology.
I wondered this when I thought about 2 inches below the skin. I am going to ask Shani. I still do RF and microcurrent, so I'm hoping this additional tool can provide more benefits. I will do a 2 week test after I finish my 30 day Foreo Bear challenge next month!
Shani wrote me this: The device can penetrate the layers of the skin up to 2.4 inches stimulating the deeper tissue layers. This is especially effective in treating areas of the face with a lot of tissue like the jowls, cheeks and parts of the neck.
I love a device but I’m highly skeptical of this one. I’ve invested in Microcurrent and radio frequency but 400 for vibration? Would love to see some science on this if available? Thanks for all your content!
Research the Novafon devices for pain, etc. this is that device but branded for Shani and her custom protocols and gel….the Novafon is a very respected and researched German engineered therapy device. There is more than one model they make and there are additional attachments which can also be used with the Shani branded device…hope that helps. I did a lot of research before I bought this.
Shani wrote me this: You can visit Shanidarden.com to see the before and afters from their clinical study. The participants were able to get some pretty dramatic Before & Afters in only 7 days. The two technologies work in very similar ways but the Facial Sculpting Wand emits sound waves vertically through the surface of the skin, up to 2.4 in below the skin’s surface targeting wrinkles at a deeper level. Microcurrent emits currents horizontally targeting the outer surface levels of the skin. What we love about the device is you don’t need a conductive gel for the device to work, allowing you to use it while you’re watching TV or relaxing on the couch. Like most tools the more you use it the better results you’ll get so the sculpting wand makes it really easy to get a treatment in.
Correction 90000 waves per second which equals 90kHZ. I think. So the device you demonstrated is more powerful. The tech specs were not on the website but you read them when adjusting the levels
Hello beautiful Trina! This device looks so interesting! Thank you so much for sharing! I do have problems with using some of the other gels so that's good to know about this one! Have a great night! ❤❤
Trina, This was very interesting. I am all about anything holistic and natural. I do believe you must be consistent and use excellent skin care.Thank You🙌🏻🍑Lisa
Do you still use this Trina? And curious if you would recommend the theraface pro over this device. I know they use different technology but for the fails massage piece. Thanks!
Oh no another device I want to try! I have no idea when/where I’d slot this in but very intrigued! It’s so hard bc every device has its own gel and has to be done on a “clean” face. It’s impossible 😂. I wonder if you HAVE to use their gel or if anything with adequate slip would be fine?
I’ve been seeing this wand on my IG feed and I should have grabbed it while it was still in stock on Sephora during the sale! 😭 What is the purpose of the gel? Is it necessary?
@@rhondabeaux this device is described as sound wave and not ultrasound on the website. I wonder if this is the same thing because on the site it says the gel is to provide slip. It did not mention anything about conduction.
Shani wrote me this: It’s not required to use Hydra Prep Gel, but it will definitely help the Facial Sculpting Wand to glide easily over the areas of the face. Certain areas like the chin, jaw, and cheekbones are easier to treat without gel, but you would want to use gel around the eyes and forehead especially. You can use anything that has an adequate slip! Gel not required - so long as it's not an active.
Please do before and after maybe 2 weeks without using other devices? 💕 i’m assuming you still use your myolift so the before photo is the day you stop myolift and the after photo will be 2 weeks after using this wand. That way we’ll find out which device is more anti aging? 😍
@@beautybeyond40 did you love the foreo bear? what were your thoughts on that vs this shani wand? do you like the nuface or ziip better than the foreo bear? the nuface made my eye twitch…lol.
Just and aside... Im an RN/esthetician. Any device's that require a conductive gel can use any brand/type of conductive gel. No need to be brand specific. It should be water based oil free. Some of them are marketed for the face and have a better ingredient deck and those are wonderful however, you can use generic aquasonic gel like whats used in hospitals and will get the exact same results. The gel is a wipe off product. So if its expensive due to the ingredient deck you are not leaving it on more than the specific device necessity so all those good ingredients aren't absorbing into the skin. If they do its very minimal. Just something to think about. I personally use the aquasonic gel for face and body procedures and have had no issues. Also, if you are extremely sensitive to the gels you can you plain distilled water as a conducter. Ive done this with certain patients and had no issue with treatments, just an fyi 🙏💕💘💗💖
For this device, many people asked about the gel and so I asked the founder, Shani. She responded and I commented on this video already with her response. Here it is again: "It’s not required to use Hydra Prep Gel, but it will definitely help the Facial Sculpting Wand to glide easily over the areas of the face. Ultrasound is sound waves. You need gel to conduct the sound waves. Ultrasound’s benefits are delivered via thermal and non-thermal mechanisms. Ultrasound, defined as sound waves with a greater frequency than that which is heard by the human ear are transmitted from a piezoelectric transducer to the skin through a coupling media.1 Oscillated waves delivered to the soft tissues are absorbed or scattered. Areas of high collagen content absorb much of the energy and convert the mechanical energy to heat. Bone and joint capsular structures, high in collagen content, preferentially absorb the waves; therefore causing generation of heat in tendons and periosteum. Therapeutic ultrasound frequency ranges from 1-3 MHz. At 1 MHz, ultrasound waves may extend down beyond 2 cm reaching the musculoskeletal soft tissues. At the higher frequency, 3 MHz range, ultrasound energy is subject to much more friction and is attenuated by dermal and subcutaneous collagen therefore penetrating less than 2 cm.1 Ultrasound generated heat has been shown to increase collagen tissue extensibility, alter blood flow, and increase enzymatic activity.1 Many of the benefits of ultrasound energy may also be attributed to its non-thermal mechanisms.
do you feel this made any difference in your skin, wrinkles etc? is there an updated review video with your thoughts after using it? thanks!!
