So this is a tribute to the always stunning Robert Carlyle. I've been watching his movies nonstop lately and decided to make a compilation. I focused on the drama aspect only because i felt like it =)) I adore Robert's comedic characters but drama always had a special place in my heart, so here we go. An ocean of angst and tears performed by Robert...if you can handle it =)) I hope you gonna like it =)

Great video. Robert Carlyle really has to be one of the greatest actors who's ever lived. All of his roles are so different, and yet I believe every single one of them. He's incredible.

I didn't know Robert Carlyle until OUAT. I really liked Rumplestiltskin and then I searched his movies and series and I found that he is the most amazing actor I've ever seen. Now he is my favourite actor. Thank you for making this video. There are a lot of RC's movies I haven't seen.
His work in The Full Monty and Ravenous is pretty good. I wanna find out what one it is that he's bald with the scar on his mouth

for a long time now i've felt that actors from the UK are more comfortable with showing vulnerability onscreen and robert carlyle is no exception to this rule. fabulous actor and when he starts to cry onscreen i do as well. just a beautiful actor and a beautiful man.
I love actors who get lost in their roles and Robert definitely is one of them. You don't see the actor being a character. You genuinely believe the passion and feeling of the character and of the story. This is a true performance unlike most who only seem to have one side to their work.
IF ANYONE DESERVES AN AMAZING TRIBUTE THIS MAN DOES!!!!!!!!!!!! Such a versatile actor as you have shown so perfectly. I loved every wonderful moment of this and the song was the perfect choice!!!!!!!!!!! EPIC
The only thing that I didn't like about this video... is that it ended. :P

well, one of my favourites is Stargate Universe. It's a show, 2 amazing seasons. So much love for his character, ugh. Very angsty =) Another show i really love is Hamish Macbeth. Fav movie is I know you know (JUST WATCH IT). I also love Ravenous, Marilyn Hotchkiss' Ballroom Dancing and Charm School, The Tournament, Flood, Face,The full monty...oh somebody stop me, i think i'm just gonna list all of those movies. But honestly he has such a delightful filmography. It's brill =)

I LOVED Hamish MacBeth too!...and I'm currently watching a 40 episode marathon of SGU! If that doesn't speak for love of Robert Carlyle... Nothing will! I've watched quite a few movies from his filmography...but I wish I could get my hands on some of the earlier titles that are hard to find over here (in the U.S.).
2:35..where he's turning quickly from side to side is 'Monroe: class of 76' it's a 2 part suspense-thriller. I watched it on Netflix and thought it was really good.
The conversation in the ambulance in "Marilyn Hotchkiss' Ballroom Dancing & Charm School" broke my heart... Great video!

Ahhh...I love how you used the footage from the 'Cracker' episode. He was so brilliant in that, and his character was so complex and well-written. I desperately need to expand my Carlyle collection.

I finally watched 'Go Now' and it was an achingly beautiful movie. Robert Carlyle was amazing as always and it's definitely at the top of my favorites list. If they ever put this on DVD, I would buy it in a heartbeat!
Question: The scene from :10 to :28 and again between 1:10 and 1:15, is that from the same movie? If so, what is it? I thought it was from the Cracker episode "To be Somebody" and several months ago I commented as such. However, someone responded back and said it was from "Born Equal". I've since watched Born Equal and those scenes are not in it. As a fan of Robert Carlyle, I want to see everything he has made but some of his movies/projects have been harder to find than others.
Few words: I really loved Your Sherlock videos, I found them amazing, the best of all. I won't lie if I tell I cried watching one of them. And now I've started watching "Once Upon a Time" and "Skin Deep" is definitely my favourite, because Rumpelstilskin is my favourite character, without a doubt. I was shocked, when I saw that others find him magical as I do, but imagine my wonderment, when I saw that you made a video about him! 2 things I love in one place! This video is great, thank you! :)
Thanks for the title, but I don't think that's it. I watched that ep, and Bobby shaves his head really early on. The clip in this vid runs from seconds 53 to 56/57, and he has a full head of hair in it. Thanks anyway though! Hopefully KatrinDepp will respond, if anyone would know, it'd b the person who made the video!

I thought so...thank you so much for confirming it. I've been on a mission, of sorts, to watch everything he has made. So far I've seen 30 films in addition to Hamish Macbeth, SGU and Once Upon A Time.
I finally watched the episode of 'Cracker-To be a somebody'...thanks to the upload on You-Tube. As usual, Robert gave an outstanding performance!
1:08 is 'Go Now'..I haven't seen it yet...super hard to find...not on DVD, but I finally found a copy and I hope to receive it in a few days.

Ya know, this is the one, the _ONE_ video that actually introduced me to the song _Crystallized_ by The X-X, and thus introduced me to one of my most favorite songs in the entire world, and for introducing me to some of Robert Carlyle's other works besides _Once Upon A Time,_ like _Flood,_ _Ravenous_ and _28 Weeks Later._ So thank you, KatrinDepp, for making this absolutely _amazing,_ _brilliant,_ and above all _beautiful_ tribute video, because I can damn well testify to this video being one of the best, if not _the_ best actor tribute videos that I've _ever_ had the pleasure of laying my eyes on.

I think 1:07 is 'Go Now' but I haven't had opportunity to see it because it's virtually impossible to find it in the U.S.
I had to buy a special DVD player that would play Region 2, from Europe, formatted DVDs. Ordered the DVD on Amazon international and now I get to enjoy so many of his movies I can't get here. Player wasn't very expensive.
