Love that your down to earth wit your content! Humble normal ol joe giving A1 advice. Good audio and video quality. Two thumbs up cause these tips help and work when used correctly
The truth is, I play UFC since the first version. Im not good in english but I've spend just a few minutes watching this video, and I evolve a lot, like about 50% percent... I didnt' apply properly all your lessons, but even though, Im winning almost every fights. Just amazing, man.. congrats
May be basic, but I love clean basics. Examples of my favorite “striking techniques” are straight forward as in: Ducking as a straight is thrown and closing distance quickly implying threat of takedown, as soon as I get close (when I’m almost completely stood up from the duck) I throw a hard quick hook uppercut combo. It either stuns or flat out KO’s opponents often when executed correctly. Another absolute favorite of mine is making myself look like more of a noob than I am, and throwing a jab just out of range (usually) enticing the opponents to drop their hands. Well the meat of this combo is that as soon as I throw that intentionally off jab, Its followed up with a nice kick to the head that *is* in range. “Creating traps” and such, tho that’s probably basic. Oh well, I just like the game.
I stopped using the jump back because people would either, rush in and knock me before I finish the animation, or they throw a quick head kick before the animation is finished, I lost to many times like that, so now I avoid it all together. I'm constantly training with my brother, and he exploits it every time I take a back step, by going for a head kick.
My favorite combo to use in ufc3 was the Jab, lead hook, and rear leg kick, used it a lot with Donald cerrone, but it appears they took it away or his Muay Thai combos aren't high enough, which shouldn't be the case due to his style
You should also incorporate lunging strikes when your opponent is leaving your pocket, namely a body cross. It's not telegraphed, it keeps distance and is hard to counter or strike back from.
Hands down BEST EA UFC 4 tips channel I’ve come across. Great tips, examples, and step by step explanation that even a dummy could understand. Improved my gameplay like crazy. And, I went to D20 lol confused af thinking the opponent cheated when I hit D15 and faced opponents and couldn’t see the stamina lol
Extra punch or combo on exit; get your opponent used to a certain tempo ie 3 strikes and then break, once they're used to it as you start to move backwards after you've landed a combo and they think it's over, quickly re engage.
Quick tip on the back lunge...against roundhouse head or body kick players, once you make good reads, a quick back lunge as the opponent his starting his animation, can combo to DEVASTATING effect with an overhand ( lead or rear) have many highlight reel ko's from this. Ends the fight 75% of the time. Try it. Your welcome
I like poppin the double straight. Lead left hook, straight punch, HEADMOVEMENT! , straight punch. Stops guys in their track everytime. Works in the ring as well. Real fighters out there. Give it a shot. Lead hook, straight while slippin to your jab side, throw a straight. Can easily bounce off your feet after this combination.
Great 👌 tips as always man!!! I figured you'd start pumping out some videos soon.I always learn something new to use every time I watch one of these type of video's you do.Keep up the great content and doing what you do buddy!!!
Been doing the backward lunge since UFC 3 came out, try throwing the straight cross followed by the lead hook. Works beautifully with quicker strikers in the game.
Ufc 3 if you didn't move while striking, you sit in to your strikes more so they're more effect8ve at landing... is this the same in ufc 4? -- trying to confirm this but from what I notice it isn't in this game.
I think you should make a video about different postures and the advantages they have the very subtle each as an advantage. For instants Dominic Cruz stands gives you a unique balance between punching and kicking. Wanda boy stands terrible at boxing Anybody who uses that stands I’m guaranteed to not come out with hands but that stance has very quick n powerful kicks
This is dope I kinda just started playing this one and this video took me right where I needed to be to progress immediately without need for more videos for the moment 🤙

How do you slip and punch at the same time it feels like I need to play claw to throw fast slips pls help like with the slip upppercut counter I can’t throw it that smooth and quick
If they're throwing alot of hooks I like to hop back and snap a front kick out, to usually rocks the dome because they waste they're stamina missing hooks
I feel like if you throw a feint for a strike from each side in the early minutes of the fight, you can get a reaction of their go to combinations based off the look from the animation you give them. I like to work timing from here and adjust to wether they slip, block or
Great video as these are all very solid tips. I've known of & been using them all since UFC 3. Well, a few of them since even before that. The slip uppercut counter can also be combined with lateral movement. I like to circle left but slip & rip right & vice versa. If you slip with the intention of throwing an uppercut, remember you should throw a left uppercut if slipping left & a right uppercut if slipping right. As you are ripping the uppercut on the rebound back to centerline. Slipping right & throwing a left uppercut will take longer as you must completely return to centerline before the punch will release. But if you throw a right uppercut (6) after slipping right, your punch will release on the way back to centerline. Also putting a bit of the momentum/torque from the return to centerline, into the punch. Speaking of physics, just as in real life, they actually make a huge impact in EA UFC 3 & 4. So remember that physics impact the power of your strikes. So use your footwork & lateral movement to get more power on your punches/kicks & also to get your opponents to walk into jabs, straights, front & side kicks, to circle into hooks/roundhouse kicks &, to try to predict when your opponent may duck or, throw strikes to get them to duck into uppercuts/front kicks/knees & flying knee's to increase the force/power of any strike. These physics based strikes are the ones most likely to result in a Knockdown or Flash KO. For an easier method of memorizing combos & also to learn your opponents striking patterns; in Boxing & MMA, there are numbers assigned to each punch: 1 = Jab 2 = Straight 3 = Lead Hook 4 = Back/Power Hook 5 = Lead Uppercut 6 = Back/Power Uppercut 7 = Lead Overhand 8 = Back/Power Overhand So odd numbers are your lead/weak hand & even numbers are the back/power hand. Once you've fully memorized which punch is assigned to each number, you can more easily tell yourself combos you'd like to throw & even make it more easy to remember the combo's your opponent throws. (EG: 1, 1, 6, 3 - As he mentioned, remember to mix these to the body. It might help to tell yourself 1, 1, 6b, 3 or, 1, 1, 6, 3b. The amount & variation of the punches you can throw depends on that specific fighters "Boxing Combo's" level. The higher the level, the more strikes & variation.) So, if your opponent is throwing a 1, 6, 3, 2, you now know the first strike (1) is a jab, & that it's safe to slip right, slip right & counter with a 3 or 6, or to lunge laterally or away. The second strike (6) being an uppercut, you can do that slip uppercut counter, you can lean/lunge back or, lunge left to the outside of the uppercut, potentially leaving them swinging at nothing for the next 2 strikes of the combo, causing them to burn stamina & leaving them open for a counter. The third strike (3) being a left hook, you can duck or duck & counter with a 5 or 6 to the head or body, or, duck the 3 & counter with a 2b, 3b or 4b, you can lunge left away from the lead hook or, you can lunge back & out of the way. And the final strike (2) being a straight, you can slip left outside the straight & counter with a slip straight of your own, or, lunge away or laterally. (The above examples are assuming you & your opponent are orthodox fighters. If Southpaw, then of course everything would be the opposite.) I'm sure reading this sounds confusing as it's much easier to just show someone examples. But if you read this slowly a few times & work on visualizing, memorizing & implementing it all into your gameplay, along with the tips he gave you in the video, they do work & will improve your skills tremendously once you have it all memorized & the timing down. 👊
Distance management. Don't hold block unless needed, throw jabs and straights to throw off the opponents timing. Feints are big for me I will pull out shots using them. I even fo it in the pocket to vet them to use head movement to run into my shot. Just set up your shots learn how and when to throw. Timing is a big deal tbh. People rely on slips to much yet I have no issues fighting people using slips tbh it usually hurts them when fighting me because I pull them out on purpose.
I think the easiest striking tip to improve your game is either A) learning ground/clinch and how to implement it into striking and B) the good old sway back lead uppercut
