    Wow!!! This was a real treat - I live in Australia and Joseph is extremely elusive here & so I'm glad I was able to hear him and his thoughts and impressions on this podcast... I can totally understand why all he wants to do is paint above and beyond everything else.... I would love it if you'd be able to interview a famous Russian watercolour artist - they, like the Chinese, have a long tradition of watercolour and their approach to watercolour is completely different to ours in the west...

    Curious to wonder if the techniques and mechanics of oriental brush work may have influenced the watercolor movement over any other medium in China. Watch the portrait works and brush control. Amazing isnt it?

    Most of new art from art school students has ZERO personality and is quite boring.
